“Ms. P,  your boyfriend is on line 1” shinhye heave a sigh, she didn’t realize that she’s been staring blankly on her laptop

again. Remembering the past. “oh, thanks, I’ll get it” shinhye smiled to her secretary and dismiss her. “yoboseyo?” “oh,

shinhye ah, listen,  I’m sorry but I can’t celebrate our monthsary this weekend, I have to be in New York for the company

expansion, and also I want ask you a favor” shinhye sighed. It was always like that, she and hongki never get to celebrate

anything on time, it’s always late because he is always busy.  “it’s okay, I will be busy anyways, so we will be celebrating next

week?” she asked. A moment of silence then hongki cleared his throat. Shinhye rolled her eyes, “this cant be good” she

uttered inside. “about that… you see…. I have to stay there for 2 months…” “bwo? Two months? Hongki, didn’t we agree

that…” “I know I know, and I’m sorry.. It’s just that..” “its business” shinhye uttered. She heard hongki sighed. “I’m sorry” she

nod as if he can see it. “when are you leaving?” “tomorrow night” he said. Shinhye sigh this time. In everyone’s eyes they are

the perfect couple, both successful, both popular, both from a well off family, but what they didn’t know is that they have

problem about having time together. “so, about the favor?” shinhye asked hongki, to lessen her  disappointment. She is

looking forward to this day, he promised that this time it will be on time, magical, and real. “my cousin who will take charge

for the time being will be coming tomorrow as well, our schedule will clash so, I was hoping if you could fetch him from the

airport and, and also can you let him stay for 2 days in your condo” “bwo?” shinhye blurted. That is kind of absurd. She

knows that hongki’s cousin is a guy, though she haven’t met him yet. “I know you are not comfortable with that but, my

condo will be renovated during that time and I don’t want him to stay in a hotel, he grew up in the States so he will be

unfamiliar with Seoul” “how about your parents?” she asked. He sighed. “shin, please just this once, he doesn’t want to be

with my parents house, I already told him about it, he thinks it’s cool that he will meet the girl of his favorite cousin”shinhye

rolled her eyes. He told his cousin already, that is so Hongki, he didn’t or he can’t wait for her decisions, it’s always his

that’s considered. Shinhye sighed, she knows she has no choice, 2 days? How bad could that be, she’s always at the office

and this guy will take charge of hongki’s company. They probably will not able to see each other. “arasso, give me the name

and the flight details.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shinhye was already at the airport, she went there early to see hongki too. After saying a quick goodbye, hongki went inside

and left her there waiting for his cousin. “Ethan Jung” shinhye check the arrival section in the monitor. The flight from L.A

already landed. She held on the banner with his name. she yawn, it had been a busy day in the TV Station.  New programs

are due to be aired next week and the new year special is this week. She shook her head to wake her sleeping mind. She

has to drive later so she needs to be awake. She notice everyone is starting to gather round, the arrival section door opened

and a lot of people came out. “where is he?” she asked herself, its been 15 minutes but Ethan is still no show. “he didn’t

come?” she whispered. She pouted, hongki should have told her if he will not be coming, she look up and stare at the

sliding door again and then a guy in a very slick suit emerge. She wanted to laugh, who in the hell would wear something

like that in the airport. But then she look at him again,  she tilt her  head to the other side and look at him. He is not that tall

but her body was toned. “shinhye stop checking him out” she confronted her mind. She is in a relationship but there she is

checking this guy out. She look at him again, his sunglasses is covering his eyes, shinhye wishes that she can see his eyes.

“what for?” someone in her head who is making her sane.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Suddenly the guy turned to face her direction, he smiled and for some reason, that smile was so familiar to her, to her add

curiosity, the guy waved and towards her direction. She wanted to turn and see if someone is behind her, again she blame it

on the dark sun glasses he is wearing. At the height of herself questioning, the guy stop infront of her. Her heart suddenly

skip a beat, this guy’s built is familiar to her, his presence was also not foreign, as if this guy, she have known him before,

the guy smirked “hello” he said with an accent. That voice, she heard that before too, “E- - Ethan Jung?” she asked. She

cursed and hit herself mentally because its obvious that she’s nervous, intimidated and looking stupid infront of the guy. He

beamed a smile and carefully removed his sun glasses. When his eyes met hers, shinhye cant help but to hold her breathe.

“Y--you?” she uttered making Ethan chuckle. He smirked and bow. “anyonghaseyo, Ethan Jung imida, also known as, Jung

Yong Hwa.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wearing the shirt shinhye uncover herself from the thick blanket, she doesn’t care if she’s flushed but she wanted to

confront this Jung Yong hwa, her boyfriend? “yah! Why am I here? Why am I ? And bwo? Boyfriend?” she bombard him

with questions. Yonghwa chuckled and sat on the chair beside the bed. Shinhye took time to look at the room again. It was

a decent room, not a hotel. She mentally slap her face. His house, how did she ended up going with this guy. He cleared his

throat. “first of all, you asked me to be your boyfriend, and I don’t usually turn down nice offers you know, second, I

brought you here because you told me too and third, I don’t know why you are not in the shirt that I gave to you last night,

Lastly, I didn’t sleep here. I may be your boyfriend but I respect the ladies specially those who are drunk” shinhye got her

jaw widen. She then got flashes of images of last night on her head. She was talking with this guy, the DJ. Then they are

drinking, Cindy was nowhere to be found after dancing with a guy.

 

 

 

 

“hey, your Korean, so you want to be my boyfriend?” she asked.

 

 

 

 

Shinhye covered her face out of embarrassment remembering what she asked him.

 

 

 

 

 

“where do you live?” the guy asked. “you’re my boyfriend now right? Take me home” shinhye said in her tangled tongue

smiling goofily at the guy.

 

 

 

 

 

“you drunkard” she hissed at herself.

 

 

 

 

 

“here, change into this” the guy said. “komawo” shinhye smiled brightly at him. He is now walking out of the room. “hey,

what’s your name boyfriend?” she asked. He turn to face her. “jung yonghwa” she smiled and waved at him. “anyong jung

yong hwa, my boyfriend”

 

 

 

 

 

Shinhye look at yonghwa, to her surprise he is staring at her intently with an amuse smile on his face. “why are you looking

at me like that?” she asked stammering. He chuckled. “now you remember?” he asked.

 

 

 

Yonghwa cleared his throat; he was shock when he recognizes the lady who is holding a banner with her American name.

he knows that hongki’s girlfriend is fetching him but seeing it was this girl, he mentally shook his head. “so, now you

remember?” he asked. He saw that shinhye flinched at his question. He look at her face, nothing is change she is still the

simple Park Shin Hye he dated back then. Inside he is happy seeing her again. They girl he thought.. “this must be a

mistake” his thoughts were cut off when shinhye suddenly talk.
