“Las Vegas” shinhye whispered while she is driving to her work place. Then she suddenly remembered something. “of

course! June 28, Las Vegas, Us getting married…” she uttered. She massages her temples.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“hey girl, slow down with the alcohol will you?” cindy tried to stop her, she didn’t know how many shots did she take, she

just wanted to forget, and this, this is the easiest way. She and Cindy got to Las Vegas after hours of driving, her friend just

wanted to be far away from stress and she is too. They have a week off the university because of some case studies they

have to finish, but instead of doing it, she’s here, drinking. She mockingly laughed at herself. She is drinking and

devastated and her cousin cho is happily playing house with jonghyun. “Life is not fair” she suddenly blurted in Korean.

“what did you say?” cindy asked, her friend is also tipsy but she is much drunk. Being a perfect daughter this is the first time,

no, the second time she drinks. And be drunk. Then she thought of the guy who she happened to drag at her situation.

Yonghwa, the guy is sweet, she should give it to him, but he is the exact opposite of how perfect jonghyun is to her.

“shinhye?” a familiar voice got her attention, she slowly turned around to prove her guess, “yonghwa ssi” she smiled. “cindy,

cindy look, my boyfriend arrived” shinhye abruptly look around to look for cindy but the girl is nowhere to be found, again.

She suddenly felt dizzy. With one eye closed she look at the guy, based on the look on his eyes, its sleepy too, he looks he

drink hard too. She smiled at him again, he caress her face making her close her eyes and feel the hand of this guy. “I’m

sorry” she whispered. She remembered what she did to him. She used him. “why?” he asked. She then shook her head. “lets

just drink tonight yonghwa ssi” she said.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“eonnie, the filming” seolhyun got shinhye attention. She’s spacing out again. After that little flashback she’d been like that

when she reached the station. “oh right, how was it?” seolhyun smiled at her, she felt relieved. “it’s all good.  Some of the

agencies would want to thank you personally thru dinner meals” shinhye just nod. “you know I don’t have the time to..” “Ms.

Park” someone called her making her and seolhyun turn. There she saw the three gorgeous and talented guys she adored.

“oh, its JYJ” she said.  The three reached them, together with their body guards and managers. They bowed to greet her and

so she did too. “congratulations guys” she said. She didn’t want to elaborate why is she congratulating them, seeing them

smile and take glances with each other, she knows they know what she is referring to. “thank you Ms. Park, for that, and for

having us here” jaejoong said the two other members nod. “its nothing you guys” she replied. She is happy that she did

something good again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

They went back to her office after talking to some of the guest stars of their shows. Feeling exhausted she sat on the swivel

chair. “eonnie,  some gifts from the agencies” seolhyun said. She smiled. “take some, I don’t think I can eat all of them.”

Mostly the gifts are food, and for a busy person and single like her, she can’t take it all. “thanks eonnie, by the way, Cho

called, she asked if she could see you this week” seolhyun knew about it, she loving jonghyun, jonghyun loving cho story.

But, she admit, she had moved on. The only thing that’s bothering her right now about jonghyun is that, he made her

experience her 1^st real heartbreak. “eonnie, what will you do about the marriage?” seolhyun asked nervously. She almost

forgot. That’s her big problem now. She wanted to tell hongki about it but, it will be a big shock for him, now that her

husband supposedly, is now living with her tentatively, and he happened to be hongki’s favorite cousin. She sighed. “I don’t

know yet” “but you’re going to marry hongki ssi right?” seolhyun asked. With that, she furrowed her brows. Hongki still

hasn’t asked her for marriage. At her age now, she wanted to start a family soon. And she thinks hongki will be a perfect

candidate for a husband. “he haven’t asked me yet hyunnie” she said. A knock interrupted them. “excuse me ma’am, Mr.

Ethan Jung is here” she instantly turn only to see yonghwa there waving. “hi” he said. “yonghwa?” she asked. Seolhyun look

at her in disbelief.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After explaining to seolhyun, her trusted affiliate, seolhyun left them to talk. She got surprise seeing him there. Hongki

don’t do that, it’s always her, she will tell him to go there and he will, hongki never take the initiation to go to the station.

“what are you doing here?” she asked him, he is texting, or playing with his phone, she don’t know, he looked up and

smiled at her. She didn’t know but she was stunned seeing that boyish smile on his face. She suddenly felt her heart beats

fast looking at him. She poke herself mentally, “No shinhye, stop it” she said to herself, she looked at him again, “okay,

admit it, you find him cute” cute? That’s an understatement. He is attractive. “what?  I cant visit my lovely wife at work?” he

asked, with the tone of his voice, every women who can hear it will probably be swoon. She can’t understand why he had

this effect on her. Again. She’s like a teenage girl who is feeling giddy inside seeing their crushes. She shrugged the idea off

her mind. “stop, someone might heard you, they all know hongki and..” “I know, I was just joking” she didn’t know if her

eyes are only deceiving her but she saw a hint of sadness in his eyes saying that, its like he didn’t mean it. “I got bored at

the office, they didn’t have plenty of work for me to do, so I decided to drop by, I’m curious about you work.” He said

smiling again. Once again, his statement made her stunned. He is actually interested with her work? But hongki.. “yah, why

are you comparing hongki and this yonghwa guy?” someone in her head asked. But before she could speak again, the door

opened. Seolhyun came rushing to her side once the door is closed. She felt a little nervous. “this cant be good. I think” she

whispered to herself.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“eonnie, you better calm yourself” seolhyun said looking at shinhye and yonghwa. “wae?” shinhye felt a little uneasy seeing

seolhyun reaction. “eonnie, media’s are outside, someone leaked your marriage contract to them” seolhyun

whispered.“bwo?” shinhye and yonghwa yelled together.

I'm feeling a little down.. up til now, I still haven't got a call

from the companies I passed my resume to.

 

aigoo, life is hard, so for my student readers, don't

take for granted your studies. It is important, and don't

waste your parents money, you will know the value of it

when you get your own jobs and earn it.

Student life is much enjoyable than working your butts off.
