“Can I ask you something?” Daehyun asked.

“Yeah, sure.”

“I don’t get it; we just recently caught you and Jongup kissing, but you already had your decision by that time...that’s why I was really surprised to know I was the one you chose...”

“Yeah...I apologise for that. Let’s say I felt guilty that I know to myself I’ll soon hurt him so I just let him kiss me. I know it was wrong, very wrong, but he was the one who told me to let the two of you do what you want.”

“So if he would like to have..uhm..you know...you’ll just let him?!” Daehyun asked.

“Yah! Of course not that one.” You retorted. He sighed.

“You don’t know how hurt I was that time.”

“I’m sorry.” You pouted.

“It’s alright. It already happened. What important is I’m the one you chose.” He pinched your cheeks.

“I’m so tired. Let’s go to sleep~” you pouted.

“We’ll sleep on one bed?” he asked.

“Where else do you want to sleep? Why have you been freaking out? It’s not like we haven’t slept together.” You said.

“I don’t know...it feels foreign to me; maybe because we’re now official, unlike in the past.” He shrugged.

You chuckled. “Does that make any difference?”

“Yeah...”

“How?” You sat on the bed.

“U-uhm...we’re free...we no longer have limits.” He sat beside you.

“Limits like what?” you asked.

“Like...” he held your chin and kissed your lips. The two of you lay down without breaking the kiss; you’re now under him. He deepened the kiss and removed his shirt. You knew right away that he wanted more.

“D-daehyun...” you stopped him.

He chuckled. “You sound so nervous. Don’t worry, I won’t. I just answered your question.”

You blushed. “I love you.” You wrapped your arms around his neck.

“I love you too.” He hugged your waist and kissed you once again.

December-Christmas Eve

It has been almost 2 months since you and Daehyun became official. The whole family prepared a little gathering for this special day; there were decorations, gifts, food, etc. Yongguk and his mom came so all of you were happy to be once again complete. The elders went to the other side of the room to have some ‘talk’ and to let the younger talk too.

“Hey, Jaekyung. I have a surprise for you.” Jongup said.

“Really? What is it?” you excitedly asked.

“Hey, gifts are supposed to be given later!” Youngjae said.

“Ani...this isn’t a gift.” Jongup said. He stood up and opened the door, revealing a beautiful lady.

“Omo~ who is she? Your girlfriend?” you asked.

“Aniyo Jaekyung-ah, how can you forget her?” Yongguk said.

You examined the face of the lady; she looks familiar. She gave you a smile.

“Jaekyung-ah, it is I. Dayoung, Shin Dayoung.” The lady said.

“D-Dayoung...S-Shin Dayoung?!”  You can’t believe she was actually in front of you. You hugged her tight. “I can’t believe this! I miss you so much!” you cried.

“Me too,  I miss you and Jieun so much.” She said.

“Jieun-ah...Have you heard what happened to her?” you asked and she sadly nodded.

“Hey, wait a minute people. We can’t understand what’s happening.” Himchan said.

You and Dayoung took a seat. “Everyone, this is Shin Dayoung. She and Jieun were my high school best friends. Jieun and I worked in the same place, but Dayoung didn’t so we haven’t seen her for a very long time. Sadly, Jieun died when our workplace was on fire.” You said.

“Oh...” they nodded.

“Jongup, how did you find Dayoung?” you asked.

“Well, I was roaming around the park when I accidentally bumped on her. We had some talk and I decided to invite her today to surprise you.” Jongup smiled.

“I actually didn’t recognize him at first, but he did recognize me. He then called Yongguk; the 3 of us ate together and talked. They already told me about what happened to you and about them.” She said, referring to your new family.

“Oh Dayoung, I almost forgot. Let me introduce you my family.” You said. “That couple with my mom and Yongguk-oppa’s mom is my second parents.” You pointed at Mr and Mrs Kim.

“This is their son, Kim Himchan. He’s standing as my oppa.” You introduced Himchan.

“Annyeonghaseyo.” Himchan blushed.

“This is Jung Daehyun. He’s like a brother to Himchan; he’s my boyfriend.” You blushed.

“Oh, so you’re Daehyun. I’ve heard about you, it’s nice to meet you.” Dayoung said.

“Annyeonghaseyo. It’s nice to meet you too.” Daehyun bowed.

“This is Yoo Youngjae. He’s Daehyun’s bestfriend. The 3 of them have been together for a very long time and they treat each other as brothers. He’s currently helping Zelo with his studies.”

“Annyeonghaseyo.” Youngjae bowed.

“And last but not the least, Zelo, my dongsaeng. He’s all grown up, isn’t he? He was very little since the last time you saw him.” You said.

“ Junhongie!? You’re very tall! I can no longer imagine the baby Junhong I know.” Dayoung chuckled.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Dayoung noona. It’s been a very long time.” Zelo bowed.

“Omo! Is that Dayoungie?” your mom interrupted upon seeing Dayoung.

“Annyeonghaseyo.” Dayoung bowed.

“Aigo~ it’s been a long time!” your mom and Yongguk’s cooed.

“May I know who this beautiful lady is?” Mrs Kim asked.

“Oh, mom, this is Shin Dayoung. She’s my high school best friend.” You introduced.

“Annyeonghaseyo.” Dayoung bowed to Mr and Mrs Kim.

“I didn’t know we have a visitor. C’mon, join us. Let’s have dinner all together.” Mr Kim said.

There were a lot of food served; everything was so delicious. Everyone was enjoying their meal. Mr and Mrs Kim, so as your mom and Mrs Bang, were very fond of Dayoung; they kept asking her questions.

“So, Dayoung-ah, why didn’t you bring your boyfriend with you? It would be more fun.” Mrs Bang said.

“I...don’t have one.” Dayoung said. Himchan choked on his food.

“Oh, oppa...gwaenchanha?” you gave him a glass of water.

He nodded. “Thanks.”

You went back to Dayoung. “You don’t have a boyfriend? Weren’t you our school’s queenka? How come you don’t have one?” you asked.

“I don’t really have time for it. Plus, I haven’t seen the right person.” She said.

“Don’t worry; I’m pretty sure the right time will come.” Daehyun said.

“Yeah, you’ll find the right man for you someday.” Youngjae said.
