Dinner Time (A/N: Mr and Mrs are still not home from work)

“I’m so bored to death here, let’s go out tomorrow.” Himchan suggested.

*KNOCK KNOCK* The door swung open.

“Yongguk-hyung?!” Youngjae screamed.

“Oh hyung, you’re right in time. Join us, have a seat.” Zelo said.

“Oppa, what brings you here? Have you heard from Jongup?” You asked.

“No, he hasn’t talk to me. I just wanted to stop by here. Why? Don’t you want me being here? You guys mustn’t have even missed me or you guys probably have forgotten me.” Yongguk faked a sad face.

“Who told you that? We all miss you so much!” all of you said in unison.

“Liars.” He said sarcastically; all of you laughed.

“Anyway, let’s go back to our topic. Where should we have dinner tomorrow?” Himchan asked.

“Let’s try at the new restaurant in Myeongdong.” Daehyun suggested.

“Hey, what are you guys talking about?” Yongguk, who just came,asked.

“We’re going out tomorrow. Come and join us.” Youngjae said.

“I’ll try. I apologize for always being busy.” He said.

“Hyung is so diligent.” Zelo said.

“By the way, our maknae’s birthday is fast-approaching.” Mrs Choi reminded.

“Oh, yeah. I almost forgot. October 15 is getting nearer. You’ll get older!” Youngjae tol Zelo.

“Yes, and I’m happy. I’m always left out when it comes to age. But I’m still a teen.” Zelo made a sulked face and everyone laughed, scratch that, giggled at his cuteness.

“I didn’t know that your birthday is on the 15^th of October.” Yongguk said.

“Now you know, so you better come to his party.” Himchan said which sound more like a command.

“What are your plans?” Yongguk asked Zelo.

“Haven’t thought of it yet. Maybe I have to think of it first then I’ll inform you guys about my decision.” He said.

“Oh, okay. What time will you be going out tomorrow? I’ll catch up if I can.” Yongguk said.

“7pm at the new restaurant in Myeongdong.” Daehyun said.

“Okay, got it.”

*KNOCK KNOCK*

“Come in.” You said without looking up.

“Hey, noona. Can I talk to you?” Zelo came in.

“Oh, Zelo. Yeah, sure.” He closed the door behind him and sat beside you. “What is it?” you asked him.

“I just wanted to check on you.” He smiled. You laughed a little.

“Wow, my little brother checking on me? Aren’t I supposed to be the one checking on you?” you chuckled.

“No. I mean, of course, as a brother, I can also be concerned about you, right? I want to know how things are going with....you know...” he looked down.

“We’re doing well.” You said.

“Are you sure Himchan-hyung is already the one? Won’t you change your mind?”

“No, I won’t. He’s the one.”

He sighed. “Noona, I’m sorry.”

“For what?”

You were about to close the door of your room when Daehyun popped out.

“Jaekyung-ah.”

“Omo~ you startled me.”

“Can we talk?” he asked.

“Sure.” The two of you went inside your room.

“How are you doing?” he started.

“I’m doing well. Hey, why are you asking this? It’s not like we don’t see each other every day.” You said.

“We do see each other every day, but it has been a long time since we talked.”

“Well, yeah. You got that right.”

“How about you and....Himchan-hyung?”

“We’re doing good, too.” You smiled.

“That’s good to hear.” He smiled back. “Oh hey, I am sorry. Well, you know, for...ignoring you these past few weeks. It has just been awkward cause of the incident.”

“It’s alright. I understand everyone; like I said to Zelo, it’s shocking to know we’re dating. By the way, thank you.”

“For what?” he asked.

“For everything; for always being here when I need you, for understanding me all the time. I’m sorry if I wasn’t able to return that kindness of yours.”

“I don’t need anything in return; I’m happy to help you all the time.” He hugged you.

*I’m sorry if I can’t tell you the truth; I have to wait for a few more days to tell that this is all a lie, that Himchan and I just made a show.* your eyes were getting teary. “Thanks.” You said.
