10^th of October

The whole family has gotten busier preparing for the maknae’s special birthday celebration. The hotel, where the party will be held, has been settled. Mr Kim coordinated with the hotel manager and discussed about the decorations and other stuffs; Mrs Kim talked with the cook about the dishes that should be served; Mrs Choi took care of the guest list and invitations. Zelo thought it’s too much than he expected but Mrs Kim insisted; no one can go up against her. One day, you thought of going out to look for a gift; you went to a skateboard shop.

*Zelo has been using his skateboard for 14 years. I think I should buy him a new one.* you thought as you look around the shop.

A unique-style blue skateboard caught your eye. You pulled it to take a look but it’s too heavy; it nearly fell, thankfully someone caught it.

“Gomawo.” You said.

“Buying a gift for your brother?” the guys asked. You looked up to see who it is.

“Y-Youngjae oppa?” you didn’t expect to see him.

“I was walking around and saw you here.”

“Oh...” you nodded.

“Are you going to buy this?” he asked, referring to the skateboard.

“Ah, ne.” The two of you went to the counter and you paid for it; Youngjae offered to carry it.

“Have you had your lunch?” he asked.

“Ajik.”

“Let’s eat together, then.” He said and you followed him.

The two of you entered a restaurant and ordered something to eat.

“Jaekyung-ah, it’s been a while, hasn’t it?” he said as the two of you took a seat.

“Ne?”

“Since the last time we hang out, since the last time we talked.” He said and you looked down.

“I still don’t get it. I’m confused. Your actions say you love Himchan but your eyes say the otherwise.” He continued.

“What do you mean?”

“I’m not intruding into your life or something; I’m just saying my opinion.”

“Go on.” You said.

“Sweet acts between you and Himchan are normal to me. I can’t see anything between the two of you, even now, just an oppa-dongsaeng relationship. It’s just really the kiss that made me confused. Your eyes, when you’re with him, I see nothing. But with Daehyun or Jongup, there’s a spark. Though I don’t know who you love more between the two.”

“Oppa, are you a psychologist or something?” you joked and both of you laughed.

“Geundae...Will you tell me the truth? Do you really love Himchan?” he asked.

You and Youngjae went home together; you hurriedly knocked on Himchan X Jongup room.

“Oh hey, Jaekyung!” Jongup welcomed you.

“Can I talk to Himchan?”

“Sure. Himchan-hyung! Your girlfriend wants to talk to you.” He called.

Himchan lazily went out of their room. You dragged him to your room.

“Woah, woah. Easy. What’s going on?” he asked. You told him the whole story about your conversation with Youngjae earlier.

“So what’s your plan?” he asked.

“Let’s tell them the truth.” You bluntly said.

“W-what? Now?!?” he freaked out.

“Tonight, when moms and dad are already home.”

“But why all of a sudden? Did Youngjae hit your head or something? I thought we’ll announce it on Zelo’s birthday?”

“Well, I realized that it could be a kill-joy if we announce it on the party; it could ruin the atmosphere.”

“O-okaaay..but you’re telling the whole story, I’m just here to back you up.”

“Arasseo. Arasseo.”

Everyone, including Yongguk, gathered at the living room right after dinner.

*This is it. Jaekyung, hwaiting!”* you glanced at Himchan and both of you nodded.

“I have something to confess.” You started.

“Don’t tell me you’re pregnant?!” Yongguk asked.

“WHAT THE-I’m not!” you glared at him.

“Youngjae asked something to me earlier and it came to my mind that it’s time to admit everything. We actually planned to announce this on Zelo’s birthday but I thought it could ruin the party’s atmosphere.”

“What is it, dear?” your mom asked.

“Himchan..isn’t really my boyfriend.”

“WHAT?!” they said in chorus except Himchan.

“But....the kiss...” the youngest was confused.

“It was all a show.” You said.

“For what?” Daehyun asked.

“Jaekyung was so bothered who to pick between the two so I suggested an idea how to make her know who she should choose.” Himchan said.

“By pretending you’re her boyfriend?” Jongup asked.

“Yup. That way she would be able to see which won’t give her up easily; she would be able to see who the right one for her is.” Himchan finished.

“Wow, hyung. I’m so amazed with this plan of yours.” Youngjae said.

“But Jaekyung dear, have you decided?” Mr Kim asked.

“Ah ne, appa.” Jongup and Daehyun sat up straight upon hearing what you said.

“Jinjja? Nugu?” Mrs Kim excitedly asked; the two became nervous.

“A-aah...I-I don’t think I can tell it now.”

“Ah, wae? You’ve confessed everything, why not tell it now?” she asked.

“I’m not ready yet. I think this is the one I should announce on Zelo’s party.”

“I think Himchan already know your answer, doesn’t he?” Yongguk asked.

“Yes, I do already know.” Himchan said.

“Aigo~ I guess we have to wait for 5 days.” Your mom eased the two.

“Alright, I guess we’re done here.” Everyone stood up and went to their rooms; Yongguk stayed for the night and will be sharing a room with Himchan and Jongup; Daehyun and Jongup were left in the living room.
