The next day kyuhyun didn’t come in the morning and instead informed yuuni he’d be coming for dinner and that’s what he did. When lynd ahad seen him in the morning she dared not ask yuuni but instead, she sort of felt this sad feeling, as in this sort of ‘awe’ feeling and just ate her cereal sort of boringly. It was sort of that feeling when your cursh dosen’t come to school one day but she didn’t like him so this was a different exception but still, the feelings were the same. When she placed her bowl of cereal into the disk yuuni asked whether or not she wanted to do some gardening and she agreed.

They went out and began their usual doings when they were out, gardening. Lynda was hosing the area hwen she saw a piece of pink paper sutck onto the gate. It was from park because it said ‘from park’ at the bottom of it and she knew it was for her, because it aswell, clearly stated her name on it and murmured under her breath, “Lynda... the deal is still up, park.” It said and she bgan shaking her head at the thought of yuuni instead finding this but anyway, it wasn’t anything too revealing, so it was okay but still, yuuni would’ve wondered what deal it was since any deal with park wasn’t exactly the most safest deals for a deal.

“hey look—“ said Lynda. “these ones are shotting buds...” she said.

“probably cuase the suns more on that side, though it still situated n the middle...” said yuuni and went on her knees and began examining the black buds. “really, kyuhyun and you are an interesting type. Fancing these sort of flowers. They kind of scare me. but if that’s what my daughter wants, it looks beautiful.”

Lynda looked at it again, she was right. they are scary and she had known it since she first saw them but staring at them, made her feel this sense of belonging she couldn’t exactly explain.

“kyuhyun’s coming for dinner tonight...” said yuuni, smiling. “I hope you are dressed well because I expect you too.”

“why do I ahve to get dressed specially for him for dinner when we have breakfast in the morning together anyways? We barely talk...” Lynda said and yuuni sighed.

“because most dinners are special, in fact, this dinner was supposed to be a private one but I wanted you to join for this will be your first dinner with us. Just dress prettily.”

Lynda groaned. She was starting to remember the not so best of all things of having a mum.

The following afternoon she raided he wardrobe and looked for dresses to find. Apparently, all the dresses were ireevocably cute and by the end of it Lynda flopped down on her bed in agony, her hands hurt frm having to look through those many clothes in need of ugly sort of one in which throughout it all, hadn’t find and then she had to fold it back and make them look pretty and that took away half her time. Two hours before dinner, yuuni went into her room where Lynda was starstruck. She loked absolutely beautiful. Too beautiful in fact and she became even more depressed.

“did you find anything?” said yuuni.

“no.” Said Lynda.

“what? Really? I thought my wardrobe wold bond to have something you like.”

Lynda sighed. yuuni was worth the truth. Everytime she looked at her she couldn’t stand lying. “no yuuni, all your dresses are pretty, just none of them are ugly. And—“

“and?” said yuuni dangerously.

“I was looking for an ugly one.” She finally said and she groaned. “I’ll help you look.” And within a minute, she had found the perfect one. Perfect as in size, look, everything, in fact, it was the most girliest dress she had ever worn, in fact, it was the only dress she had ever worn and became frightened at the prospect of wearing it. Since she was 10, she had been wearing thick amounts of clothing to hide the burises that covered her body but now, now that they were already healed after kyuhyun had taken her to many doctors for treatment she thought that it was okay to expose some areas of skin, but she still felt extremely uncomfortable in all areas imaginable.

“there’s no way I’m wearing that.” She argued.

“yes you are.” Said yuuni. “you’ll look cute in it.”

“no.” She replied obstinately.

Yuuni squished her cheeks. “wear it now.” she said, “quick I have to do your hair.”

“my hair?” said Lynda.

“and it’s going to take atleast an hour.”

“AN HOUR?” she said incredously.

“and your makeup.”

“MAKEUP?!”

“and it’s going to probable take another 30 minutes.”

“all this for dinner?!”
“Lynda... do it for me... this is my first dinner with my daughter and my boyfriend... the two loves of my life. Please...”

And it was then that Lynda felt so bad to the extent where she wa willing to do anything for Yuuni even if that meant getting her hair and makeup done, and that was saying some huge things. “okay... fine.”

Yuuni jumped up and down excitedly. “good good, come on, now get dressed!” she said and then went out of the room while she got changed.

After Lynda had put the dress on she examined herself in her mirror and saw a light pale shade of skin, a slim figure with curves, actual curves and a startling dress that complimented every inch of her body. She had never seen her body as much as she did now. In truth, she had never stared at her own body in a mirror before after she was nine. Those bruises that she saw everyday made her want to whimper at the fact that she couldn’t just be normal like the other kids at school and have none but now she saw... well, none. It was flawless.

“Lynda, are you done?” said yuuni,she sounded eagerly excited.

“yes. Come in.” She said and the door opened.

“if your done you should say so—wow.” Yuuni said a look of surprise evident on her face. “you have a hot body...”

Lynda flushed and couldn’t believe that someone with a body as stunning as Yuuni would say that about hers. “no way.” Lynda said defiantly. “can we just get the hair and make up done?”

Yuuni set the plates down on the table for Kyuhyun, who was dressed in a tuxedo with hsi hair nicely done and Lynda, who was had refused to come down since he arrived.

“just forget about her.” Said kyuhyun. “she just dosen’t wnat to come, she dosen’t want to come.”

“but she’s my daughter...” said yuuni and kyuhyun didn’t say anything.

“sorry, that was rude.” Said kyuhyun and just stared at her beautiful face. He couldn’t help but look at her as she went around the house and prepared everything. How a figure could be so beautiful...

“LYNDA—“ yelled Yuuni and she could now hear the sadness in her voice. This made her feel so bad that she forced herself to come down now. arguing with every single negative and afraid conscience that ran through her head, she forced herself.

Breath Lynda breath she said and the placed a foot down the stairs and began heading down it.

Kyuhyun groaned. “seriously, she’s just wastin—“

“Lynda--!” said yuuni clapping her hands together and kyuhyun looked to where yuuni’s head was directed and his eyes widened at the startling sight of Lynda, if that was Lynda... she could’e been easily mistakn for someone else. Her long hair was let down in soft curls that started from her roots and her face decorated with glitter and her lips a bright pink which complemented her snowy skin and without notice he said ‘wow’ under his breath and then upon realising it, wanted to run and hide.

“did I just hear that?” said yuuni, laughing. “like kyuhyun say Lynda looked ‘wow’?!”

Kyuhyun flushed right then and there. “no, I didn’t! I said she looked ew, i said what!” he was determined to change the subject. “What are you wearing? This is not a costume party this isn’—“

“kyuhyun said Lynda looked wow, kyuhyun said Lynda looked wow—“ yuuni teased and Lynda sat on a chair and didn’t react as she didn’t believe that he would actually say something like that about her... her. It was probably an accident and now the poor guy’s getting teased thought Lynda.

“huh Lynda?” said yuuni, extremely worried. “your not joining in?”

Lynda shok her head sceptically. “I don’t believe you... no way, kyuhyun would never say something like that about me. never. It was probably an accident. Like kyuhyun said.”

“but Lynda...“ argued yuuni. “he really said it! He reall—“

“I think she gets it Yuuni.” said Kyuhyun, vexed and yuuni laughed.

Lynda was forced to sit in a postion which meant facing Kyuhyun clearly as shet ate, along with Yuuni and this, she hated the most. She couldn’t help tunring his way ever 20 seconds like she had done eveyr morning, but now, now that he was so close, she couldn’t help but do so again but this time, every ten seconds.

“this tastes really good...” said Lynda.

“your an amazing cook...” said kyuhyun and she smiled and it was then that that he got up and kneeled to her feet.

“kyuhyun are you...?” said yuuni, shocked at what she thought that he was going to do.

“I’m getting a rice from your shoe it’s annoying me.” he said and she almost kicked him.

He laughed. “no...” he said and searched in his pockets and took out a tiny box then turned in towards her and faced it, “I have known you for quite some time now and have I said our time together has been great... and I want to continue it and grow old together, start a family... to know that I am yours for the time being until we divorce.” He took a deep breath. “yuuni... will you marry me?” and there was no forgetting her reaction. She jumped on him in felicity and screamed yes.
