She’s the girl of my dreams but she doesn’t see me as anything more than a friend. Ever since we were 5 years old, I’ve liked her. In high school, we both kind of took different paths. She became the popular girl that every guy wanted while I became the dedicated baseball player who had time for nothing else. Somehow through all of the changes, we managed to stay best friends, being next door neighbors seemed to help a lot. I need to show her just how nice it would be to have me by her side, to love her.
