Superiority Complex
"Kris, you need to start talking to him again. Like, actually talking." Luhan tells me one day.
"I can see you're crumbling on the inside, and I don't like it."
Despite his usual blankness, Luhan senses more than the average person.
"I can't talk to him. Not after what happened..."
"It's not your fault," Kai asserts.
He's once again shirtless, on my bed. His hair is all askew.
I snort at him.
"You know that's a lie."
I've started to truly hate myself for what I did.
"Fine, I lied. But you've got to forgive yourself and talk to him. He still likes you, I can tell."
I shake my head at Kai.
There's no way Tao could ever like someone like me, not after what happened between us.

I don't even want to think about it.
"I'll talk to him tomorrow if you won't." Kai tells me.
"Maybe I'll even flirt with him."
I scowl at him.
"Don't even touch him."
Kai gives me a look.
"All I'm saying is, if you don't get in there soon, someone else will get him first."
