Aren't You Suppose To Be Mine?

There Minhyuk stood, in front of the very familiar doors he sees almost every day. He closed his eyes and sighed, desperately wanting to run back to the curb he was silently sitting on five minutes ago. He picked his head up, brushing his bangs out of his eyes and confidently opened the door to the entertainment building: Brand New Stardom.

But his confidence slowly dwindled with every step he took to the elevator down the hallway. When he pushed the “up” button he thought that it came way too quickly. He reluctantly stepped inside and pressed the “3” on the wall.

The elder wasn’t really sure as to what he was going to say exactly. He knew he should apologize but he wasn’t exactly sure how. He had felt bad after hearing what Yu Kwon had said about him, that it made him sad that they weren’t talking. He hated seeing the one he loved sad even if the love wasn’t returned. Even if Yu Kwon was unknowingly causing more pain to Minhyuk than Minhyuk was causing Yu Kwon. He wasn’t even sure if his assumption was right either. He needed to apologize and quickly brush off the topic from earlier. He wanted to forget about it. He didn’t want it to be a burden anymore although he knew that it would weigh his heart down after awhile.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when the metal box he was in dinged and the doors slid open. He took one last breath and stepped out into the hallway lined with different rooms. He made a left then a right until the dance studio he was in before was right in front of him.

The dancer knew even before he decided to talk to Yu Kwon where he would be. They both had similar ways as to taking out their anger or trying to distract themselves from whatever emotion they were feeling at the time and that was dancing. Some people thought of it as chore or something unpleasant but they both had been dancing most of their lives and loved every second of it.

Minhyuk peered through the crack in the door and heard a familiar song. A song so familiar that he was in fact dancing to it this morning.

“Uriga wae~ Saranguel haseo ireoke apeun geonjih…”

, I left my iPod in the speaker…

He watched the younger execute the perfect moves and he couldn’t help but be amazed that Yu Kwon had picked up the dance faster than he had. He scoffed and continued to watch, letting his eyes wander to his phone for a brief second to check the time.

“Ugh...” Yu Kwon made a barely audible grunt and plopped to the floor of the studio.

Minhyuk snapped his head back up when he heard the unfamiliar noise and saw the younger sitting on the ground rubbing his ankle-foot area. He was about to enter the room to see if the younger was hurt seriously in any way, actually if Yu Kwon just so much as got a scratch Minhyuk would be coming to rescue. He was restraining himself today because of their little dispute.

Yu Kwon slowly but surely pulled himself up from the dirty dance studio floor but as soon as he took a step he yelled and fell back to the ground.

“Argh! Aish……” the younger mumbled to himself.

He didn’t even realize that he wasn’t the only one in the room anymore until he looked up to the wall of mirrors and saw Minhyuk standing above him.

“H-Hyung… what are you doing he- ah!” He questioned as he was trying to stand again.

“Kwonnie, you’re obviously hurt, don’t try to make it worse.” The other scolded slightly. Seeing Yu Kwon in pain hurt him just as much. He tried grabbing the smaller dancer’s arm to haul him up so he can take him to a doctor but was shooed off at the slightest touch.

“I don’t need your help, hyung. I can stand by myself.” The red head tried getting up again but didn’t even make it half way until he fell again. He slightly pouted, the elder sighed.

He bent over and picked up the light boy bridle style, which startled Yu Kwon.

“Y-yah! What are you doing? I said I could walk on my own, hyung. I don’t need to be carried like a girl.” The younger protested but kept a firm arm around Minhyuk’s neck.

Minhyuk scoffed and looked at Yu Kwon in his arms. God, he’s so cute. And those pouted lips are just so inviting I could just- No! Minhyuk, stop thinking those things! He’s hurt; you need to take him to a doctor. He snapped out of his thoughts when the red head hit him lightly on the chest because the small staring contest was awkward.

Before Yu Kwon could say anything Minhyuk butted in and retorted back, “If I carried you any other way then I could end up hurting your foot more. Plus it’s easiest this way. “

The younger was obviously defeated as he opened his mouth then closed it and pouted looking away from the man carrying him. Minhyuk chuckled and started out the door.

The walk to the car was quite quiet. They got some stares walking down the hallway and going into the elevator but no one asked them anything. It wasn’t as if the reason was completely absurd, it was just that it was slightly embarrassing carrying Yu Kwon around the building.

When they reached Minhyuk’s car, Yu Kwon motioned to go over to the backseat instead of the passenger’s seat. Minhyuk cocked an eyebrow while Yu Kwon unlocked and opened the door as both Minhyuk’s hands were occupied. He laid the younger into the backseat and closed the door when he made sure Yu Kwon was comfortable.

Minhyuk got into the driver’s seat and set off toward the hospital. He didn’t know how injured Yu Kwon was and it really pained him to see Yu Kwon hiss or close his eyes in pain whenever they hit a bump through the rear-view mirror.

They reached the hospital quickly due to Minhyuk’s slight speeding. Minhyuk walked calmly yet nervously to the hospital ER doors not knowing what could be wrong with his lover. Yu Kwon couldn’t sense his nervousness, as Minhyuk was a master at hiding his emotions. But as certain times he would take off his poker face and let everyone know what he was feeling.

Within five minutes of being seated Yu Kwon was taken to a doctor to get examined. The doctor looked at his foot, bending it side to side, forward and back, each time Yu Kwon let out a noise of pain. He was asked to try and stand but Minhyuk wouldn’t let him.

“Hyukkie, I have to do what the doctor asks.” He tried to get off the bed only to be pushed back on by Minhyuk.

“Doctor, I’m sorry, but Yu Kwon here can’t walk. He can barely stand. I don’t want him falling over for something we both know he can’t do.” He said to the doctor.

The doctor chuckled, “Alright, Mr. Lee. Yes, we wouldn’t want Mr. Kim to hurt himself more than he has but I need to take an x-ray now so if Mr. Kim would follow me that would be great.” He motioned to a wheel chair and Minhyuk helped Yu Kwon sit in it despite the protesting and the elder pushed him down the hallway.

Minhyuk waited outside while Yu Kwon got his foot x-rayed and paced around outside the door. Before Yu Kwon could leave the examination room Minhyuk was told by a nurse that he must wait in the waiting room as Yu Kwon was being housed into a room. Minhyuk’s panic level went from low to extreme within seconds. Although being the master he is he managed not to spazz and freak out right there but did what the nurse told him and went to the waiting room.

Realizing that they could be here awhile he took his cellphone out of his pocket and dialed the leader’s number.

Hello?” Said a familiar voice.

“Jiho? It’s Minhyuk.”

Ah, Hyung, what to you need? You said you’d be at the studio all day.”

“Yu Kwon hurt himself so I took him to the hospital. I’m not sure what’s wrong with him exactly but he hurt his foot. We may be here a while. I’ll text you later when I find out exactly what happened.”

Minhyuk heard Jiho sigh and he knew he was pinching the bridge of his nose as he did when he was frustrated.

And how exactly did he hurt his foot, hyung?” He sounded mad. Great, Minhyuk thought.

“He was dancing and fell.” It wasn’t exactly false but it wasn’t exactly true either.

He was dancing and fell? Yu Kwon said he was going out to eat lunch not going dancing. And dancing with you? I thought you were avoiding him for the time being.”

Jiho didn’t sound convinced. Minhyuk actually forgot about the whole “avoiding Yu Kwon because he’s seeing another person” thing for a little while. Well, Jiho reminded him of that.

“He apparently came to see me. We had a little argument and I left. When I came back he was dancing in the studio that I was in. I walked in when he fell. He must have been distracted and misplaced his footing and fell.” Minhyuk explained it as it was. Minus all the little details, of course.

So, this is somewhat your fault?”

Minhyuk hadn’t actually thought about it like that. He pulled the phone away from his ear and he held it at his side. Yu Kwon hurting his foot was his fault. Well, now he felt even worse than before. Because of their argument Yu Kwon was distracted, thinking of how to fix their altercation and fell and hurt himself. If Minhyuk had just said “yes” or if he hadn’t ignored him at all these past couple months then none of this would have happened. Yu Kwon wouldn’t be hurt, he’d be happy and Minhyuk would still get to spend time with his lover even if he already had someone. He was so stupid, how could he not think of this?

Hello? Hyung? Minhyuk, are you there?”

“Yeah…I guess your right. It is my fault. I’m sorry…”

“I’ll let you take the blame but remember it isn’t all exactly your fault. I don’t want you falling into a bigger hole of depression, hyung. We’re all worried about you, including Kwonnie-hyung but the only people who know why are me and Taeil. Forget your jealousy for now and take care of Yu Kwon, all right? Can I trust you to do that or do you need me to take your place?”

Minhyuk was ready for a rant. Yet, not a rant like that. He was expecting to be yelled at yet it was more comforting than anything.

Wait. “But the only people who know why are me and Taeil” replayed in his head a couple times. So Jiho does know. Well that would explain some things, he thought before answering the young leader.

“I can handle it, Jiho. I’ll be fine here with Kwonnie, thanks.”

If anything happens just call and make sure you contact us when you get a diagnosis. I’ll tell manager-hyung so don’t worry about that. Good luck, Minhyuk-hyung.” Jiho timidly said those last three words then hung up.

The raven-haired boy sighed and walked back over to the metal seats with the uncomfortable blue cushions. He slumped in a chair then leaned over so his elbows were on his knees. Minhyuk had a habit of bouncing his knees when he was waiting for something or if he was being impatient. He was bouncing his right knee while he rested his head on his left hand. He constantly checked his phone every couple minutes and kept staring at the front desk and at other people in the waiting room. At one point he got up and grunted then started pacing in front of his seat. He was becoming more and more impatient as every second passed.

“Mr. Lee?” He stopped dead in his tracks and looked at the nurse who was looking for this “Mr.Lee”.

He walked over to her and she said, “Are you Lee Minhyuk?”

“Yes, that’s me. Can I see Yu Kwon now?” He asked a little more desperately than he intended.

She chuckled at the handsome boy’s nervousness. “Yes, Mr. Kim can see patients now. He is room 102 on the 3rd floor.”

“Thank you, thank you so much.” He gave her a dimple-filled smile and bowed politely and headed off to the elevator.

He stepped inside and as soon as the elevator doors opened he sprinted down the hallway until he saw “102” with the name “Kim Yu Kwon” under it. He sighed and knocked on the door slowly opening it, searching for the small boy.

“Kwonnie?”

There was a bathroom to the right when he first walked in and a curtain separating two beds. No one was in the first bed that he came across and there probably never will be. He walked over to the other bed hidden by the ugly cream curtain. Yu Kwon was lying on the hospital bed still in the clothes he wore from earlier. He had his leg in one of the suspending devices and he was blankly staring at a wall with tears streaking his face.

“Kwonnie? Are you okay?” He slowly walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge of it, putting a hand on the younger’s thigh.

He was startled by the touch and looked over at his hyung and forced a smile. It wasn’t the same as his usual bright smiles. It was filled with hurt and pain.

“Hey hyung. The doctor told me I broke my foot. I won’t be able to walk on it for several months.” He still wore his smile and let out a laugh.

“Kwonnie…” He scooted closer to the boy and grabbed him in a comforting hug.

Yu Kwon dug his face into Minhyuk’s chest bawling, letting his shirt soak up the tears while his arms were only half way around Minhyuk so he was grabbing the fabric at his waist. Minhyuk had his hand running up and down the smaller’s back comfortingly while his other hand rested on his head, patting his soft hair.

They stayed like that for a while and as much as Minhyuk hated what happened to his dongsaeng he couldn’t help but love the close contact that they were making. He bent his head down so that he could kiss the top of the younger’s head.

Some people might think that a broken foot is really no big deal. You wear a cast for a couple months, get to miss P.E., plus people carry your stuff for you since you can’t with your crutches, etc. But this was so much more. Yu Kwon was a dancer and an idol. He can’t promote with the rest of Block B, he can’t feature with Minhyuk on shows and show off their dancing, he can’t practice with the rest of Block B; he pretty much can’t do anything. The worst part is is that they’re promoting their new song right now so what is he suppose to do? Have Jaehyo or Minhyuk fill his spot? Sure, he can still do interviews and some variety shows but that’s pretty much it as for being on camera. How was he supposed to live like this?

Once the red head started calming down it had become late. Yu Kwon didn’t release his grip on his hyung and neither did Minhyuk. After just staying like that for a little while longer the only sound in the room was Yu Kwon and Minhyuk’s breathing. Yu Kwon’s breathing was no longer staggered and it was almost as if he was sleeping.

Wait.

Minhyuk looked down at the small creature and whispered, “Kwonnie? Kwonnie-ah?”

He shook the boy slightly but didn’t get a response. He slowly lifted the boy off his chest and realized that the red-eyed boy in front of him had cried himself to sleep. Minhhyuk laid him down against the bed and used the remote to bring it all the way down. He looked at the boy lovingly, his perfect face looking even more perfect when he was sleeping. The elder bent down and moved Yu Kwon’s bangs away with his hand and kissed his forehead. He leaned up and blushed, realizing how close he was to the boy. His eyes darted down to Yu Kwon’s slightly parted lips and his eyes widened.

He couldn’t do this. He was sleeping! Plus he was injured. Yu Kwon had just cried himself to sleep! There was no way Minhyuk could just take advantage of him like that… or could he? What was one little peck? He wouldn’t notice anyway.

Minhyuk moved his head from Yu Kwon’s forehead to his mouth and hovered there thinking whether he should go on with it or not. He sighed and leaned down to slightly brush the younger’s lips with his own, getting a small taste of what they tasted like. Minhyuk has dreamt of this for as long as he could remember but he didn’t picture he’d being doing it while the latter was asleep in a hospital bed. He stayed in his position for a couple seconds then pulled back and smiled to himself. Minhyuk pulled up a chair beside the bed and grabbed the sleeping boy’s hand in his own, caressing the top with his thumb.

He smiled that genuine loving smile that only special people got to witness. He would smile like that for Yu Kwon all day if he could because he was just that special to him.

Minhyuk remembered that he didn’t text Jiho so he pulled out his phone and with much difficulty, texted him with this left hand as his right was holding Yu Kwon’s. He shoved his phone back in him pocket and stared at Yu Kwon in front of him. As the minutes passed he became more and more sleepy. Today was a rough day, so he laid his head on the bed and sleep had overcome him easily.

Chapter 19: Awe, I finished it. I didn't want it to end T.T I REALLY LOVED THIS STORY! Like u, when I heard U-Kwon was dating Hye Sun, I was (kinda) happy, but then again I was like "BUTBUTBUT WUT ABOUT MY U-BOMB??" So, I started writing this fanfic at school and it was about:
U-Kwon and B-Bomb are already dating, but he announces on Twitter about him and Hye Sun you know. Then, B-Bomb gets sad and angry, so he breaks up with Kwon. Then, Jaehyo tries to comforts him, and he also has feelings for him. So its like some type of love square? Between the four and I have absolutely no idea where this story is heading xD I think I might publish it here, but I don't know yet ;-;
ANYWAYS~ I LOVED THIS STORY AND I WILL PROBABLY COME BACK TO READ IT AGAIN SOMETIME :DDD
