Author’s POV

After Krystal accompanying her sister to the mall, she spent her evening by the lake as usual.

She read Amber’s diary while leaning against the shady tree.

8/2/2012

My princess’s mood is really good today since she dragged me around the mall for the whole evening.

My feet were sore because too much of walking.

At the same time, my arms were aching I as the servant had to carry Soojung’s shooping back.

I had so much playing at the arcade with her.

She even forced me to eat rice by feeding me all the time.

I could feel my face flushed when people around us kept whispering ‘what a sweet couple’ ‘his girlfriend is so caring’.

In conclusion, I felt relieved as I managed to make Soojung’s mood become good today.

She was smiling all the time when we were at the mall.

Her smile never left her face.

That’s why it’s made her so special compared to others girls I had met.

Soojung’s smile.

I’m willing to do anything as long as I always can see her pretty smile.

Krystal’s POV

I closed the diary and went home.

Do you know why I smile all the time, Amber?

Because I got chances to cling on you.

And you never pulled away from me.

You just naturally helped me carry my shopping bags just like a couple.

We acted like a couple even we are never ones.

Those are the reasons why I love went to shop with you.

After having a dinner with the family, I went to sleep early since the exhaustion from the afternoon didn’t gone yet.

I wish I can see you tonight in my dream.

Woke up in the morning and I realized it was weekend.

Birds are chirping sweetly on the tree.

And the light rays were penetrating my windows make me awake.

I did dream about him last night.

He told me to wait.

The dream was confusing.

Since I’m still sleepy, I took Amber’s diary and read.

I will never ever tire of reading this.

It has been 6 years,Umma.

I grew up without you.

We can’t visit you since I’m facing the exam.

I’m sorry but I knew you’ll be happy seeing me study to achieve a good result.

I still remembered how mad I am when you’re taken away from me but in return, I met Soojung.

Since she knew I’m not in a good mood today but she still stayed with me today until night as I was alone.

She is the one who reassure me whenever I’m down.

I felt a lot better when I talked about you with her.

It was like all my heavy feelings were gone just like that.

She kept me calm with her.

Umma, even you’re already up there but I’ll always love you.

I kept the diary after done go through it and took a shower.

Your bad mood faces made me scared, Llama.

Felt fresher after taking a long shower.

Then I take a look on my table and found a lot of assignments to be done.

I’m very lazy right now.

But if Amber was here, I’m sure I can settle this pile of works.

*FLASHBACKS*

Author’s POV

At Amber’s house

”Krystal, you don’t have much left to do. You only have half a sheet left of mathematics problems” Amber told her.

Later Krystal was pouting while looking at Amber.

“Amber, you know how much I dislike Math. Even half a sheet is too much for me. Besides, the weather are nice and maybe the others are having fun under the shining sun” Krystal exclaimed.

“Well, I only left few more questions and once both of us done, I’ll take you the park and treat you an ice cream” he replied.

“Or.. We may go now” Krystal told Amber while pouting and doing her ‘bboing,bboing’

“Your aegyo won’t work today, Soojung. Listen, education is important for us you know that right?” Amber’s face was really serious.

Krystal let out a sigh and stared uninterestingly at her homework’s.

*tapppp*something hit Krystal’s head.

She was rubbing her head and found whose eraser on the table.

“Yah, Amber Liu. Did you throw this to me” she glared at Amber.

He just nodded and replied “You kept spacing out and didn’t touch your sheet. Why?”.

“I really don’t know how to solve it” she answered.

He chuckled and pats a sit beside him.

“Come sit beside me because this super Amber is going to teach you” he exclaimed.

In a second, Krystal moved her sit next to Amber.

After half an hour they managed to finish the homework’s.

“It is easy. Aren’t they” Amber asked Krystal.

She nodded and tugs Amber’s shirt.

“What princess?” he asked.

“You promised that you’re going to treat me ice cream after we finished earlier” she was making her cute.

“I almost forgot about it. Let’s go, Soojung” he laughed.

At the park

“Two chocolate ice creams, please” Amber told the seller of the ice cream parlor.

Amber and Krystal were messing around each other while waiting for their sweet frozen.

“Here we go two chocolate ice creams for the cute couple in front of me” the seller held two ice creams in his hand.

Amber pays for them and gave on for Krystal.

Krystal was enjoying her ice cream while Amber slowly his ice cream because he can’t stop stare at her princess.

“Are you satisfied now?” he asked Krystal after seeing her finished eating her ice cream until her fingers.

“Very very satisfy. Thank you, Amber.” She hugs Amber.

“You’re welcome, Soojung” Amber caressed Krystal’s hair who was leaning against his chest.

*END OF THE FLASHBACKS*

I had breakfast in my room since I was alone.

My Mum followed my Dad to German for a business trip.

Jessica unnie went out early in the morning.

Later, I started doing my assignments one by one.

If you are here, Amber.

I’m sure you will encourage me to do my assignments.

I need you by my side.

It is hard to live without you, Amber Joseph Liu.
