Author’s POV

It was a peaceful night.

Krystal was standing at her balcony located in her room.

She did nothing other than spacing out.

Her family members were in their own rooms.

Out of the blue, loud and colorful fireworks startled her.

She just kept admiring the sizzling fireworks and remembered Amber.

Krystal’s POV

Sigh.

Without Amber my life will be automatically boring.

He always tried to make me happy all the time.

Sometimes, we’ll do something that is cute or sweet.

But he really loves the extreme and adventurous stuff.

That day, when my Dad asked Jessica unnie to date Minho, she came to me while crying.

She already had someone she loved.

I spent my evening with her by ensuring her that everything is going to be okay.

After calming her, I kept thinking how to save Jessica unnie from my dad’s plan.

I was very worried and need to calm myself so I decided to have a walk by the lake even it was already lake.

Before I sneaked out from my house, I text Amber to tell him.

While I was sitting on a big stone by the lake, I felt someone’s hand closed my eyes from the behind.

I didn’t shock since I know it’s Amber.

He brought along his backpack and took a sit beside me.

A wide smile plastered on his face and he hugs me by pulling me closer to him.

Amberrr….

The fireworks ended and I walked into my room.

I was lying on my bed while holding Amber’s diary and opened it.

School is great so far except me and Soojung was rarely spending our time together.

I don’t know why I felt so miserable if I didn’t see her for a day.

Tonight is great since I made the icy Soojung smile back.

She text me saying she is unhappy and want to take a walk by the lake.

She’s a girl but a brave one.

I decided to go after her since I didn’t want anything bad happened to her.

When I closed her eyes with my hands from behind, she didn’t shock at all.

She knew that I will never leave her alone.

Her face looked sad then I hug her.

“My mum always hugs me whenever I was unpleased or mad”

I told her and took out the fireworks from my backpacks.

Curiosity is all over her face.

I lighted up the fireworks and pointed to the lake.

She was amazed with it and a big grin formed on her face.

Umma, the thing that I shall never forget is when she leaned closer to me and kissed my cheek.

I don’t know why my heart suddenly beat faster when she did that.

Hahaha.

Jung Soojung, you should know it is my duty to make you always happy.

I closed the diary and went to sleep.

Amber, thank you.

Thank you for always presented by my side.

Then, I suddenly drifted to sleep.

The next morning

Author’s POV

Krystal was in dining room having breakfast with her family.

“It has been a long time since both of us shopping together. Krystal, can you accompany me this afternoon to the mall?” Jessica asked her.

She just nodded.

*FLASHBACK*

Amber’s POV

“Baby, please please accompany me to the mall after school ended” Krystal was begging me while pouting.

She always calls me baby when she wanted to ask my help.

“Yah, I’m not your baby and Krys, you are making a scene here” I told her and went out of our school café.

“Amber’s face is red” I heard Luna’s voice at our table.

I shook my head and suddenly I found someone was clinging on my arm.

Haishh, Jung. She will never give up until I agreed with her.

“Princess, your servant is busy this evening. I had basketball practice.” She glared at me and let go off my hand.

“Then the basketball practices are much much more important than me. Am I right?” she asked and left me.

I ran after her and grab her wrist.

“Soojung, listen. I’m sorry. You are much more important than that basketball. I will accompany you. Okay?” I smiled at her.

“Really? Thank you, Amber. I need to find new clothes and a present for my sister’s upcoming birthday” I nodded at her and she hugs me.

Dupp,dupp.

Here it goes again; my heart is beating so fast when she hugs me.

I send Krystal to her class and met up after school ended.

Krystal’s POV

I was begging Amber to accompany me to the mall.

Calling him baby become my habit whenever I want him to do something for or with me.

Even though, he had training but he still scarify it for me.

He used to tell me that I am important in his life.

At the mall

Author’s POV

As usual, Krystal will cling onto Amber’s hand while wandering in the mall.

Amber as the servant will carry princess Soojung’s stuff.

“Soojung, let’s went to the arcade upstairs. Pleaseeee” Amber asked Krystal while pouting.

“You’re so cuteeee. Come on. Let’s go” Krystal pinched Amber’s cheek.

They had a lot of fun and after an hour spending their leisure time at the arcade, suddenly Krystal’s stomach made a growl sound.

Amber laughed and asked Krystal “Hungry much?”

She nodded.

Amber brought Krystal to her favorite restaurant and orders a lot of food for her.

“Let’s eat” Krystal exclaimed as she was excited seeing the dishes on the table.

Krystal was eating hungrily without realizing Amber who didn’t touch the food at all.

She stop eating and slapped Amber’s arm.

“Why did you order rice if you knew you didn’t like?” she asked Amber.

“Because Princess Soojung loves to eat it” he replied.

“Pabo. Let me feed you. Here. Say ahhhhh” he kept his mouth shut.

He shook his head.

“Amber, how can you stay healthy if you didn’t eat rice? If you are unhealthy who are going to take care of me after this?” Soojung was persuading Amber.

At last, Amber encouraged himself to eat when Krystal fed him.

He wanted to start eat the food by himself but Krystal insisted to keep fed him.

People around kept buzzing “what a sweet couple”, “his girlfriend is so caring”.

Two of them kept blushing upon hearing it.

I miss going to the mall with you Amber.

I really do.
