Jessica’s POV

Mum and Dad told me that Krystal is going to attend her class start tomorrow.

They explained that Amber who the one who encourage Krystal to do so.

Maybe he’s the one who make Krystal down for a while but because him to she tried her best to move on.

I sent Krystal to the class and pick her up.

She no longer hangout with her friends but spent her time by the lake.

I found her reading a diary. It’s not hers then maybe Amber’s.

Ohhh, I get it so that’s way she seemed a little bit happier these days.

Even he’s not here anymore but his soul always with Krystal.

Time flew fast.

It has been 2 months since Amber gone but Krystal still kept remembering Amber.

I couldn’t scold her.

I was the one who making her not be with Amber.

At first, Dad persuaded me to be with Minho but Krystal offered herself because she knew I’m in love with someone.

Even though, she was always with Minho but her heart only for Amber.

Krystal’s POV

It has been 2 months, Amber but still I can’t forget about you.

I LOVE YOU

Those words how I wish I can turn back the time and confessed to you.

At least, I will not suffer as much as I felt now.

Having the burden in my heart.

I felt nothing but only the pain.

I didn’t hurt but regretted.

Jess, Mum and Dad were happy now since they knew I’m going to the class, eat together with them.

They didn’t mind seeing me spending my leisure time at the lake.

I did that every day because I missed Amber.

I could imagine and feel him beside me when reading the diary.

Never felt bored reading his diary because he always mentions about us every day.

Today, I had football practiced with my friends.

Out of the blue, my ankle was injured when one of the footballer from the oppose team incidentally kicks my ankle instead of the ball.

Dad could not fetch me as he had meetings with his business partner.

Umma, Soojung was there and she helped by carrying me on her right shoulder.

My friends wanted to help me but Soojung keep insisted to carry me even she’s a girl.

It’s funny when she gave her icy glare toward the boys to make them leave us alone.

When we arrived at our house, she treated my swollen ankle.

She was amazing.

To me she’s just like an angel from above.

She is pretty, nice, intelligent and cute too.

You still remembered a pair of locket that you give to me last time.

You told me that I should give to someone who is important to me.

Someone important is Soojung, Umma. She knew I lost you and she’s the only girl or woman who I close to after you. I’m going to give the locket during Christmas to her.

I, Amber Joseph Liu promised will take care of Jung Soojung for the rest of my life.

I’m going to make her happy all the time.

I’m the one who is going to protect her all the time.

I’m as the servant will serve my princess all time.

As a man , I will kept my promises.

Umma, I love you a lot.

I laughed.

That’s why Amber kept calling me Princess all the time.

He always helps me whenever I caught myself in trouble.

He is my knight and everything’s.

Author’s POV

After that, Krystal went home and rested in her room.

She suddenly remembered something and went through her stuffs on the shelf.

‘This locket, I’m going to wear it again from now on. Only if I knew this is important to you, Amber. I would nevert take it off.’ Krystal muttered and kisses the locket.

The shape is like a broken heart. Half of it belongs to Krystal while the other half is with Amber. Krystal didn’t know if the two locket combine it will form a heart shape as she never see Amber’s locket.

The whole weekends, Krystal spent her time reading Amber’s diary.

I was lying down on the couch and flip through the diary.

24/12/2006

Yesterday, I fainted while playing basketball with my friends.

However, I didn’t tell Dad because I was afraid that he would be worried.

Maybe, I just over exhausted since I’m being very active these days.

Today, the temperature was very low here in Korea.

I wore a thick sweater as it was freaking cold.

Now, my favorite place to play with Soojung is by the lake.

I met her this evening at the lake and gave her the necklace.

Umma, do you know Soojung’s cheeks were reddening when I help her to put on the necklace.

She made me laughed by telling me that she felt hot.

When I was laughing, she smacked my head and started to sulk.

She ran away from me and ignored when I called her.

I really don’t know how to persuade her.

So, I decided to run after her and hug her from behind and spun her around.

She screamed and begs me to stop spinning her.

I got many pinches on my stomach and she laughed seeing me yelping in pain.

Tehee, I managed make her laugh sometimes.

You don’t know how happy I am, Umma but still this is the first Christmas without you.

To be sure I felt lonely tomorrow but I’m sure the next day I’ll be happy back.

Soojung promised going to see me.

Next week, Dad and I will fly to LA. I want to visit you Umma. I miss you.

Amber, do you know why my cheeks were red after all.

It because of you.

You make me blushed when you helped me to wear the necklace.

And the moment you hugged me from behind and spun me around, I was enjoying it even I look mad at you.

I closed the diary and went to sleep because I wanted to dream about meeting Amber.

Author’s POV

After that day, Krystal didn’t stop reading Amber's diary.

She finished it one by one.

From 2006 until 2011.

She laughed while reading his because she read about their funny moment together.

But she realized those sad moments happened during 2012.

How she and Amber getting far away from each other started during their senior year in high school.
