Two years later...

Valarie and Rishaki walked casually to school. It was second year of high school. Rishaki twisted her tongue as she grip into her shoulder bag.

Valarie tilted her head to the side as she started walking in. She smiled at everyone she saw that was looking their way, while Rishaki just smile a little before walking beside Valarie.

They actually doubt that anyone could recognize them. For the fact that they were both simply walking without those thick glasses, that they’ve been wearing at first year.  Their bag packs replaced with a shoulder bags. And Valarie without having bangs that covered half of her face. It was a big transformation alright.

Valarie decided that they’ll just be showing what they really look, naturally. It doesn’t really matter to her. Her parents actually only reveal her to some other royalty like her. Because she declined having to be seen in public. She’s not ready yet.

Rishaki walked passed Valarie and gave her a look as Valarie nodded. Rishaki took off, leaving Valarie to walk alone as she made her way to her new locker, which had been moved away from Rishaki.

She open her locker, only to be shut close by someone. She jerk up a bit before looking at her side. Her eyes widened a bit before looking around. Some students were already looking at them and whispering to each other.

She felt a hand grab her wrist and started to pulled her, making her stumble and lose her balance but she felt another grip around her waist that lift her up as she gasp.

In a blink of an eye she found herself on the rooftop with this guy she was giving a confuse look with her arms crossed over her chest, “What are you doing?” she asked; sighing before closing her eyes.

She immediately felt a pair of lips peck hers and her eyes shot open as she leaned away, “Yah!” she took a step back, “Why’d you do that?” she whispered in disbelief.

“I missed you, don’t you miss me?” the guy asked and pouted a bit. Valarie softened but turn away and walk to the rooftop railing, “Maybe?” she mumbled while walking. She was leaning over the railing and took a deep breathe. Suddenly jumping in surprise, after feeling that the guy had already hugged her from behind, “Daehyun!” she half-yelled.

Daehyun grinned at her, “Say you miss me first.” He asked and peck her cheeks. Valarie felt her heart melt by him and she sighed, “I missed you too.” She whispered silently.

His grin got wider as he hugged her even tighter, “Hmmn..” he hummed a bit, “I really missed you.” He whispered. Valarie turn around to face him and smiled, “You already said that.” She said.

Daehyun chuckled, “That’s cause I did, and I’ll never get tired of that.” He said and buried his face to the crook of her neck, as his breathings hit her skin, she felt blood rushed up to her cheeks and tried to push him away, but of course failed at it. Since he’s stronger.

“You should get used to this since I’m your boyfriend now, remember?” he said in a muffed voice, because of his face that was still buried under her hair.

Valarie smiled and nodded a bit, even though she knows he can’t see it. He can still feel it, “I know..” she wrap her arms around his neck and hugged him. She closed her eyes and rest her head on Daehyun’s shoulder.

“Hmn, My Princess.” She heard him mumbled. Valarie’s eyes shot open and pushed him away making him stumble back and blinked at her with a look of shock and confused, “What? What’s the matter?” he asked and walk closer to her.

Valarie stared at him, “What did you call me?” she asked. She hadn’t told anyone about her being a Princess. Did he found out?

“Uhm, My Princess? Why do you like that? I was wondering if I could call you baby or something but its too cliché, so I thought Princess would be cute.” He smiled at her, but couldn’t help but feel a bit worry that something was bothering her. Oh.. it was just a nickname. Valarie sighed in relief. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust him enough that she still couldn’t tell. She was just finding the right time.

“You don’t like it?” he suddenly asked when she notice that she was staring out of space. Valarie snap her head towards him and shook her head while smiling, “No! I like it, its just that. I was a bit surprised. You never called me anything else except for my real name.” Valarie smiled a bit.

“Hey! What are you doing!?” the two suddenly heard someone shouting from behind and quickly swirl their head towards the voice.

Daehyun blinked before chuckling a little. Valarie laughed and smiled at the two.

“Wait, so this place is taken. Damn it.” Zelo muttered messing up his blonde hair in the process but never leaving his smile off of his face. Rishaki just continue to playfully glare at Zelo.

“I cannot believe you just did that.” Rishaki huffed and blew a raspberry before crossing her arms. “Can you even think that this guy suddenly appeared out of nowhere and suddenly carried me in here?” she continue, as she look at Valarie.

Valarie grinned, “Well doesn’t that sound familiar, Daehyun?” she nudge Daehyun on his stomach while he pulled her closer, encircling his arms around her.

Zelo laughed and grab Rishaki’s hand and spin her around, making her back land on his chest as he stole a peck on her lips.

She yelped and quickly scrambled out of his arms and standing up straight while clearing , “Never do that.” Zelo grinned and turn to face her, “You like it. Admit it.” He teased and poke her nose.

Rishaki couldn’t help but smile at his touch, she playfully bit his finger, “Whatever.” She rolled her eyes. Valarie and Daehyun just watched them in amused, with Valarie still in Daehyun’s arms.

“Let’s leave them alone.” Daehyun whispered in her ear as he slowly pulled Valarie out of the rooftop slowly, without the couple’s knowledge. They silently shut the door before rushing to the field behind the school building.

Valarie breathe in the fresh air once they step foot on the moist lime green grass what was glittering from the reflect of the sun. Daehyun looked at her and smiled, his heart skipped a million times of a beat by how breathtakingly beautiful this girl is right beside him.

Valarie turn to take a glance at him and chuckled when she saw him turning away from her as if he wasn’t staring at her. “Caught you.” She smiled and peck his cheek before running around the field. She had missed this, after a couple of months they had gone out of summer.

She felt another footstep beside her and saw Daehyun already running pass her with his tongue poking out, Valarie made a face but shrugged it and just continue to run.

She let herself fall down on the grass and lie down comfortably as she gaze towards the sky, same presents lie down beside her and she smiled while looking at him. Daehyun rest his hands on the grass, lying his head on it.

They let the atmosphere into a comfortable silence without them speaking a single word, while just looking at the clouds passed by. Daehyun took the time to examine her face again, although he knows that she could see him from the corner of his eyes. She turn her head towards him, this time he didn’t turn away and just smiled at her.

Valarie sighed and look away, “Melanie…” she muttered.

Daehyun’s smile disappeared immediately when he heard the name. He looked back at the sky and tilt his head, “You’re the one I love right now, not her.” He said. Valarie bit her lip, “But you loved her then. So it’s possible for you to love her again.” She whispered lowly.

Daehyun scrunch his face and turn to face her, “Don’t think so negative. Like I told you, You’re the one I love, not her.” He stated so firmly. It was Valarie’s turn to scrunch her face, “No, you said ‘You’re the one I love right now, not her.’ There’s a big difference.” She said, emphasizing the ‘right now’ making Daehyun scoffed.

“I don’t love her.” “Right now.” Valarie added. Daehyun sat up and stared at her, “I don’t love her, anymore. Not now and not in the future. I wouldn’t say never, because I loved her once.” He straightforwardly said, making Valarie flinched at the last sentence.

She didn’t dare talk anymore. She was afraid of hearing another word from him right now. Mostly, she was scared of loosing him if they kept talking about it.

She heard him sighed, “Look. I already told you-” “I’m sorry.” She cut him off and sat up, “I’m sorry for bringing her up.” She continued, “I just… saw the way she looks at you. It was so powerful that I feel insecure that maybe I wouldn’t match the love she’s giving you-” She got cut off but Daehyun putting a finger over her lips.

He smiled, “I see the way you look at me though.” He chuckled when he saw her cheek turning into a slight pink. “I feel your love. I didn’t felt hers.” He took her hands and intertwined it with hers as he lift her head up with his other hand.

“But-” “Shhh. Shut up, I was going to kiss you.” He grinned and slowly place his lips on hers. Her eyes automatically fluttered close and kissed him back. It was an innocent kiss, with no tongue involve. Since Valarie refused to, and Daehyun respect it. But it sends electricity throughout their bodies and they couldn’t ask for anything else.

They both pulled away, just in time cause first bell just rang. Valarie gasp and quickly stand up, “Oh no! Come on! Our class is starting!” she panicked, since their classroom was at the near entrance of the school and they’re in the middle of the field at the back of the building. It’ll take at least fiftheen minutes just to walk it. So they clearly need to run.

Daehyun laughed at how cute she is when panicking, “Relax. We’ll make it on time, just calm down.” He grip her hand and squeeze it tight, making her relax a bit, but it didn’t stop her from panicking, while Daehyun just continue to laugh at her before he started to run with her following. He grip into her hand tighter when he sped up to run.

They heard the last bell rang while they stop in front of the room they’re assign to. (Daehyun secretly ask the principal to have the same class at her, which she didn’t know.)

They both panted with Valarie’s hand on both her knees, while Daehyun on the wall.

“Come on.” Daehyun took her hands again, after she let go to catch her breath. She look down on their hands and bit her lips, This is it.

No one except for Daehyun’s friends and Rishaki knows that they’re both together, same as Rishaki and Zelo. Which was in the room they were going in right now. It was such a surprise to her to know that they all has the same class together and was even doubting that it was just a coincidence.

Daehyun open the room and entered in hand-in-hand with Valarie as they walk over to their seat. Murmurs started to spread. Valarie heard some of the girls whispering to each other, ‘She’s such a witch.’ ‘I know, just cause she became pretty. She started to make Daehyun oppa fell for her.’ ‘Melanie wouldn’t be very happy when she sees this.’

Valarie froze when she saw Melanie and the three girls staring at their way. Daehyun was already dragging her right now. He sat her down beside Rishaki while he sat down on the table next to them with Zelo. The trio stared at them from the other side of the room. Valarie could clearly felt the burning gaze from her side. She didn’t dare look up. She couldn’t.

Rishaki felt uneasy when she also felt the stare. Her hands slowly made its way to Valarie’s and grip into her hand tight. It actually made them both relax, knowing that they both have each other’s back. We could get through this.

Valarie look at Rishaki and let out a smile, Hopefully.

…. “S-stop..” Valarie stuttered while clutching into her stomach. She merely cough out blood, “We should.” Melanie kicked her side, “Or maybe not.” She laughed and her. Melanie turn to look at Monica, “So did you spot Rishaki yet?” she asked.

Monica groaned and shook her head, “I can’t find her. Nor Zelo either. I can’t find any of the B.A.P members.” She cursed. Matilda just look at Valarie in pity.

Melanie shrugged, “Well, at least we got this here.” She mumbled before turning to look at Valarie, “Yah.” She lift her head up harshly with her hands that grip into her chin. Forcing Valarie to look at her, “You. Stay away from him. Or else I’ll- URGH!” Melanie landed on the ground with a loud thud.

“You.” Monica launch forward and trap Rishaki’s neck onto the wall. “You stole my Junhong! You.. you freak!” she yelled at her and gripping into her neck tighter. Rishaki growled before pushing her away. She just wanted to fight back, but Valarie struck to her mind and she quickly help her get up.

She felt hands grab both her arms and pulled her away. She didn’t think twice before elbowing the one on her right and kicking the one on her left to the knees, making them fall down.

She look up at Melanie the only girl standing and glared at her. Melanie didn’t seem to show that she’s scared and glared back at Rishaki. Valarie stood up and let out a soft whimper and clutch her stomach. Rishaki immediately tore her eyes off of Melanie and helped Valarie get up. She grab her arms and put it around hers before walking their way to the clinic, with Rishaki giving one last glare.

“Uhm… The three sisters-” Rishaki got cut off. The Principal held a hand up for her to stop talking and nodded carefully. “I’ll be sending those girls away. They’ll be immediately get drop out and won’t ever be allowed in this school agai-” “Can you just drop them out for maybe a year? Please allow them to transfer back here after that.” Valarie cut him off.

Rishaki stared at her in shock, “Are you insane!?” she yelled. Valarie shook her head, “That’s the only thing I’ll be requesting.” She whispered and this time, Rishaki sighed.

It had been a week since the day the incident happened. The Trio were drop out of school, but was allowed to re-transfer back after a year. It had also been a week since Daehyun had been asking for where Valarie was, since she hasn’t been present in school for a week.

Rishaki wanted to explain to Daehyun but couldn’t, since Valarie said she would be the one doing it.

This has been the time where Valarie would be going back to school. Her parents were worried sick about her, but she assured them she’ll be fine. And she was sure they trusted her anyways.

Rishaki went to the Mansion to pick up Valarie so they would be going to school together. Valarie decided to just walk to school for a change. She was actually shaking all the way there for the fact that she was still nervous to tell Daehyun why she wasn’t there.

Once they arrived, Rishaki went to guard mode and glared at everyone who tried to get near Valarie. Valarie wanted to laugh at the students reaction for Rishaki’s glare, but of course that wasn’t the right time for it.

They suddenly heard a loud ‘thud’ at the other side of the hallway, the students made way while Valarie and Rishaki wore a confused looks on their faces while looking at each other.

Valarie saw the familiar blonde hair running towards them and she brighten up slightly. Daehyun appeared in front of her and hug her tightly, whispering ‘I missed you’ to her ears continuously, not letting her go.

Valarie chuckled and pushed him away slightly, “I missed you too.” She said and caressed his cheeks. Daehyun grab her hands and kissed it before looking at her directly, “Where were you?” he asked.

Valarie bit her lips before looking at the students that were staring at them. She grab his hands and led him to the field that they used to go to. She closed her eyes when the breeze slap her face. She missed this.

She felt a tug on her hand and her eyes fluttered open and landed to Daehyun. She sighed and sat on the grass, he copied her and sat down beside her, “So, where were you? I’ve been asking Rishaki to tell me where you are, but she just gave me a firm look and I don’t understand a single thing about that look and-” Valarie laughed at him and he immediately shut up.

“Firstly, what was that sound earlier? I heard a thud.” She asked. Daehyun’s cheeks turn red and he looked away clearing his throat, “I kind of, bump into the lockers when I was running towards the entrance..” he trailed off and Valarie laughed again.

“You’re silly.” She shook her head while smiling. Daehyun smiled back and held her hands, “So.. tell me.” He whispered.

Valarie took in a deep breathe and explained everything that had happened. Daehyun stared at her with wide eyes and eyed her from top to bottom, “What!? Are you okay now? Nothing hurting right now? No more scratches? I swear if I ever saw anything I’ll-” he got cut of again at Valarie’s laughter. Daehyun made a face at her, “Stop cutting me off.” He frowned.

Valarie smiled and nodded, “Sorry. Well, I’m good. Perfectly fine.” He smiled and nodded, “Alright.”

He wrap his arms around her waist and pulled her closer while planting a kiss on her forehead, “Don’t worry, you’re safe, I’ll be here protecting you, My Princess.”

“Well, that’s about it.” Rishaki finished for Valarie as she stared out in space. Exo were all staying still and couldn’t help but also stared out of space as thoughts run around their minds. Rishaki waved a hand in front of them, but they didn’t move.

She then wave a hand in front of Valarie and she quickly snap out of her gaze. “Uhh.. Okay.” Valarie forced a smile at them. Kris blinked a couple of times before asking, “Where is B.A.P now?”

A tear fall down from Valarie’s eyes.
