Author's POV

The sun started to set, illuminating its beautiful orange color all over the sky, soothing anyone that is in pain. The wind blow softly, sending chills to the man that is currently sitting on a bench alone, waiting for someone to come. He crossed his arms, trying to keep his hands warm under his three layered clothes, a black turtle neck, white shirt, and a black jacket, sometimes rubbing his two feet together that wrapped in black pants to keep it warm as well. It's almost winter so the weather is getting cold. A white smoke came out from his mouth due to his hot breath, he shove out his phone, trying to know about the person he has been waiting for the past 10 minutes. He leaned his back on the hard cold bench before he spotted a familiar figure from afar, his heart skips a beat, his love coming towards him but she seems more distracted than the usual. He hugged the latter as soon as she arrived in front of him as if not wanting her to catch a cold, she wrapped her arms weakly on his waist making him feel confused and worried. "Baby, is everything okay? you didn't look fine. Let's get some warm drinks?" He flashes his smile as he caress her cheek gently. She just nodded and they walked towards that familiar cafe, not knowing why she would choose that place, maybe her heart is really messing up with her brain but he doesn't seems to bother about her choice. He just walk side by side with her to the cafe with his hand wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer to him protectively as they get inside the cafe. A clinging sound of a bell can be heard as the door got opened by the couple, the cashier stole glances on whoever just came to the cafe only to find the familiar couple just got in. They line up along with the other customers, waiting for their turn to order. A few minutes later it's their turn to order, "Hello you two, it's been a while since the last time you came here. What can I get for you?" Yuri smiled as she look at the couple. "Sorry for not visiting this place as often, Yuri noona. And hot chocolate for me, what do you want to drink babe?" He asked sweetly to his girlfriend, Yuri tried to keep her poker face as she saw the man trying to act sweetly to her soon to be sister in law, "I'll get the usual" the latter just said in her cold tone before stealing glances to the barista station where Amber used to stand, the place that is currently occupied with someone else since they hired several more people to be able to keep up with all the orders they received everyday. "Alright, fortunately your usual seat is currently available over there. Taeyeon will deliver your order to your table later on. Here is your bill" Yuri handed a piece of paper and Minho gets his wallet to pay for the drinks but Krystal already handed out her card and told Yuri to use it instead. Minho doesn't look okay with using Krystal's money to pay for his drink but Krystal doesn't seem to bother his whine about it and told Yuri to just swipe it. Yuri accept the card and proceed the payment process, Krystal signed on the receipt and she grabbed Minho's wrist to their usual table that has been prepared by Sunny. They both thanked Sunny for preparing the table for them before taking their seat and Sunny already skate somewhere else to clean up other tables.

Both Krystal and Minho didn't say a word, they just stay in silence. Krystal seems to be really preoccupied with whatever she had in mind. Yuri stole glances to Krystal from her cashier counter as she notice something is not right with Krystal the moment they talked briefly earlier when she is taking their order. "Honey, your sister is acting weird." Yuri whispered to her girlfriend that passed behind her quickly to grab the prepared order to be handed through the drive thru window. Jess stole glances to the certain table as she saw her sister preoccupied with her mind, "Maybe she wants to break up with him today" Jess replied lightly as if it was nothing before she handed the order to the person outside the window. Key just done making the special order by Krystal as he hope it will suits Krystal's taste "I'm nervous about Krystal will hate my coffee since it's not Amber who made her order. I tried to replicate it as close as possible though" he put the cup on the serving table in front of him at the same time with his new barista partner that finished the hot chocolate for Minho's order. "I don't know what really happen before I came but it seems really complicated things happened around here." Taecyeon, the new barista said while casually making the next order. "TAEYON! ORDER FOR TABLE 3!" Key yelled as he clean up the side of the cup and let Taeyeon grab both cups and skate quickly to Minho and Krystal's table before placing it in carefully in front of them according to their order. "Enjoy~" Taeyeon said before skating to the counter to grab the other orders. Krystal stare on the cup of coffee in front of her, she immediately look at the barista station, trying to find the certain figure that used to make this coffee for her but not finding it. Her gaze met with Key as he let out a smile and pointed to the coffee before mouthed "I hope you like it", makes Krystal feel stupid for hoping that Amber would suddenly there to made her favorite coffee, Krystal mouthed thank you before returning her gaze to her coffee, earning a curious look from her boyfriend. "what's wrong babe?" Minho said worriedly as he reached out his hand to grab Krystal's hand, making Krystal jolted to the sudden contact, making Minho retract his hand back to his side. "Sorry oppa" Krystal said softly before she tried to take a sip on her coffee. it's different - she thought as she smiled bitterly and put the cup back to the place. She let out a deep sigh before turning her face to see Minho's eyes "Oppa, I have something to say to you"

Minho's POV

Krystal, I know what you're going to say the moment you called me earlier on the phone asking us to meet up. I know this is going to happen eventually since from the start, I never hold your heart. It's always been hers, I'm just here being the only one in this relationship that love you. I saw how you react when that coffee arrived on our table, you're looking for her, you're expecting her to be here. Now you're looking at me with that serious look, I know you're going to break up with me. "yes babe?" I tried to speak as calm and soft as possible, pretending that I didn't suspect anything. The way she looked at me, I know she is struggling to say the things she wanted to say, she is still trying to arrange her words in order not to hurt me that much.

The memories of when the first time I ask you out started to flashes inside my head. I remember, the moment I ask you out, I know you still love her, but I was just trying my luck. Surprisingly, you accept me, it was the happiest day of my life. I knew that you only use me as a rebound to get over Amber, but I just want to be with you, so I bear with that fact and started to make my own imagination that you truly love me. You gave your attention and affection to me, I'm gladly accept it. I just want to feel your kiss, your arms around my neck, your warmth close to me, I just want to be with you. Now all this time is passing by, I started to realized the imagination I have built slowly crumbling down the moment you started to put distance between us. It started to hurt me every time I see you, because it makes me realize how much I need you in my life.

I waited for her to speak out her mind, she started to opened "Oppa.. I know I'm being unfair to you right now, I know it's hurting you. I want to stop it, I don't want to prolonged your pain. I am really sorry for what I've done to you. I'm really sorry oppa." she said while tears started to formed at the corner of her eyes. Those words is more painful than I thought it can be. I can't think properly as I just lower my head down and stare on my unattended hot chocolate. I hear her small sobs as she also lowered her head down, I can hear one of the waitress came to our table and put a box of tissue on our table without us asking for it. I can feel eyes are staring at us, everyone must've think I made her cry but I can see from the corner of my eyes that the crew telling other customers to mind their own business and let us be in our moment. I hate that I love you Krys, I don't want to have this kind of feelings but I really can't put nobody else above you. You're the star of my life, you're the love of my life, I can't put nobody else above you. I really hate that I love you but you want her, you need her and I'll never be able to be her. I'll never be able to replace her in you heart, since I never hold it from the start. "ah.. so the time has come."
