I was about to go to the café and my phone suddenly ringing.

RIING RIIING

I saw my phone screen and her name was popped out as the caller ID

Incoming Calls Jessica Jung

“Yah.. is she this impatient to meet me? I was about to go can’t she just wait for a while??” I muttered with an annoyed face as I picked up her call

“nee unnie? I’m on my way towards my car, why can’t you just—“

“KRYSTAL JUNG SOOJUNG!!! TURN ON THE TV NOW!! NEWS CHANNEL!!!”  she cutted my words and screamed till I have to move my phone a bit far from my ear. Her scream is the worst than anything, it will make you deaf for a few minutes. I can guarantee that.

“YAH!! NO NEED TO SCREAM ON THE PHONE!!! Your scream is making me deaf!!! What should I do that??! can’t I just go to the café? There also a TV at the café.”

“no!! just do it!! Trust me!!!” she keep insisted and I walked back to the living room to watch the news.

We are now reporting live from the Los Angeles International Airport. The daughters of one of the top 3 most influenced man in the world has arrived. It’s the first appearance of the younger daughter since her missing a few years ago. Apparently she goes to Korea to get her architect master degree, and she just finished it last year with best student achievement. Her return will make the Liu’s company stronger than ever. All the Liu’s finally get together, this will be hard for their competitor since the younger daughter, Amber Josephine Liu, is one of the talented and genius architect in this country. CRACK!

As I watch and heard the news I accidentally dropped my phone to the floor. Is that really Amber? my Amber? my llama dork?? My dino?? All over the news??

“KRYS!! KRYS!! WHAT HAPPENED?!!” I heard Jessie’s voice on the phone yelled again in worried tone, I kneel down and pick my phone with my eyes still focused on Amber on the TV entering her car.

“unnie……. Is that really….. my Amber?”

“what do you mean YOUR Amber Krys? She’s NOT YOURS anymore. And yes it is Amber Josephine Liu, your EX-girlfriend who just moved to the State.” Ah yeah.. she’s right. She’s not mine anymore and I’m not hers. We already broke up and I’m the one that ended our relationship. But how possible that I unconsciously she’s MY Amber? maybe it’s just because the effect of her sudden departure. No Krys. You can’t be like this, you already have Minho.

“hey Krys! Are you still there??” my sister’s voice snapped me out from my spacing out “okay just cut the crap off, go here fast! We need to talk.”

“nee unnie.” I just simply said that and hung up the phone. I immediately grab my key car and storm towards my car.

I started the engine and began to spacing out again. Think about her. Is that really you? You look even more horrible and sick since the last time we met at the park. Jessie’s voice echoed inside my head “she’s not yours anymore. Your EX-girlfriend.” Those words keep repeated in my head. Her image started to invade my head. Those night we spent together, the time I always sleep in your embrace, listening your steady heartbeat, feels your warmth, we breathe in sync, you always kiss the crown of my head and stay awake until I fell to deep slumber. Your flawless face, your milky white and soft skin, your pale pink lips, your beautiful blue orbs, all illuminated by a slight moonlight from the window making you looks more perfect. I miss spending our time together at night, me sleeping in your embrace, you humming me a lullaby with that smile all over your face. I really miss those times.

KNOCK KNOCK

I snapped from my spacing out and the head of the maids in my house knocked my car window with confused face so I opened the window.

“is there something wrong Mr Choi?”

“Ms Krystal, do you need a driver instead to drive you to the café?” he asked me politely

“ah.. no need Mr Choi. I can drive by myself.” I smile to him but he still look worried

“are you sure you can do it Ms Krystal? Because you already the engine since 15 minutes ago and I saw you starring blankly to the front like you’re having many thoughts in mind. I suggested that Driver Joon drive you to the café Ms Krystal.” And my usual driver appear beside Mr Choi with smiles and bowed to me.

“yes Ms Krystal. You might get car accident if you spacing out like that at the traffic. Let me be your driver Ms Krystal.” He bowed politely. Maybe he’s right. I don’t want to make Jessie worried like hell if I got into car accident because of my not stable mind and feeling right now.

“okay.” I get out from the car and went to the back seat while he began to drive. And I stare blankly outside the window as those thoughts began to invade my head again
