Heechul’s POV

Donghae and Liandra had been engaged for a month now and I and Liandra had been together for about two months. And I was slowly getting better, just about two more weeks and I could finally walk again. But all the time I spent at home alone gave me lots of time to think. To think about serious stuff. Stuff that, before I met Liandra, never even crossed my mind for even a second. Stuff that involved my future with Liandra. I love her more than anything and I cannot stand losing her now that I have her. It would kill me, now that I had found my true happiness losing her would slowly kill me. So I made up my mind. I would ask Siwon hyung if I could marry his sister, if I could marry my lovely Liandra. I choose the time well and rolled into his room with my wheel chair when Liandra was out grocery shopping, one of the few times she ever left my side. Siwon hyung was sitting by his desk reading some book, probably the bible if I knew him well. But he put it away as fast as he saw me. 

“Hey Heechul, how is it?” he questioned me and smiled at me warmly

“Much better” I told him happily. But I was so incredibly nervous. I had no idea how he would react. I mean we had only been together for like two months now. He would probably not be too overjoyed about it. But I could only hope that he would not prohibit me to marry Liandra. That would break my heart, that would break the whole me, it would destroy my entire world. 

“That’s good to hear” he told me smiling wider and I nodded

“Listen hyung I need to talk to you about something, something really, really important. Something that I have given much thought lately” I started and he frowned, which was not a good sign, but I had to tell him what was my heart’s desire. 

“Okey, go ahead” he told me and made a gesture to go with it

“I love your sister, I really do, you know that right?” I questioned and he nodded “I know I’m not like Donghae, I’m far from being like him and I cannot convey into words how much I actually love Liandra. Donghae probably gave you a speech when he asked you for her hand in marriage, a whole touching speech about just how much he loves Liliana and that he will be true to her and love and protect her etcetera, etcetera. But I cannot do that but trust me when I say that I love Liandra more than anything. And just the thought of losing her is killing me. I have never been this sure about anything else in my entire life. I want to marry her hyung. I went to spend the rest of my life loving her. And I hope for your blessing” I told him and he looked at me in shock. But then he quickly got serious again and sighed and shook his head.

“No Heechul, you do not have my blessing. You have only been together with her for two months. You need to be with her longer and prove to me and to her that you truly love her and will not hurt her again. You can come back to me in a year” he told me and I felt my heart break into millions of pieces. 

“A year? Donghae got six months!” I protested

“Donghae did not treat Liliana like from the very beginning” he answered and I hated myself for the way I had treated her. I knew that I was going to have to pay for that and now was the time and I felt my world getting destroyed. If I could not marry her now I would go crazy. 

“I know but I regret that hyung, I really do and also I truly have changed, please, you got to let me make her mine” I pleaded but he shook his head yet again

“If you truly love her that much and if you really have changed then you will wait patiently” he told me and I groaned in frustration

“You do not understand! I could’ve died during that accident and then I never could’ve gotten the chance to love her. I risked my life for her hyung! What more proof do you need!?” I yelled upset but Siwon hyung stayed indifferent

“It doesn’t matter, you will wait. End of discussion” he told me and I furiously rolled out of his room and into mine. I need to marry her. I need to make her mine. I cannot wait a whole year. I simply cannot do it. But Siwon hyung will not change his mind. ... but then all of a sudden my phone started to ring. I picked it up immediately not bothering to look who the caller id was. 

“Hey hyung how is it?” my best friend asked happily

“Hi Hongki” I replied

“You sound a bit down, has something happened?” he questioned concerned 

“Well...yes... I asked Siwon hyung if I could marry Liandra and he said no. He said I have to wait a year before I can ask her” I told him

“Ouch...listen I’m coming over now. I might have an idea” he then said and before I could answer he had hung up. Wonder what kind of idea it was that Hongki had. Well it is Hongki so it can be practically anything. Twenty minutes later Hongki arrived and he rolled me into my room and locked the door. “So you’re saying that her brother said no?” he asked and I nodded

“Yeah, I don’t think that he trusts me completely yet, you know I was an to her in the beginning and up till the accident and we’ve only been together for two months so far” I explained

“But you love Liandra more than anything right? And she feels the same about you?” he wondered

“Yes” I replied

“Well, run away and get married then” he told me and I looked at him in awe. I hadn’t thought about that.

“But...Liandra would never agree to run away. She would not wanna do that towards Liliana...or her brother” I told Hongki who frowned

“I know!” he then exclaimed “You kidnap her one day and take her to the airport and you go somewhere, whatever plane you can get on and then you propose to her there and convince her that you should get married straight away and then you get married and when you come back to Korean you can have a second wedding and no one can say anything about it” Hongki explained. And I just wanted to hug and kiss the guy. The plan was brilliant! Absolutely brilliant

“You are a genius Hongki! You really are!” I told him and smiled widely. That was exactly what I was going to do. 

“I know. But remember you have to be really convincing when you ask her. Or else she will not marry you there.  You’ll have to make a speech, something like Donghae normally does” he warned me and I nodded

“I am aware of that” I said and Hongki nodded and smiled

“Good, so when will you be able to walk again?” he asked me and I sighed

“Not for another two to three weeks” I told him

“But then you will have time to prepare stuff! You can get a ring! Do you have a ring?” he stopped himself and I shook my head “Perfect! Then you can fix her an engagement ring and then the wedding bands! And we need to buy you a suite! And she needs a dress!” he continued excited. Haha was this really the Lee Hongki I knew? This was more like the wedding planner Lee Hongki.

“Okey the first things can be fixed easily but Hongki...a dress?” I asked and looked at him in disbelief “I cannot pick out a wedding dress for her” I told him seriously. Liandra loved wedding dresses so for me to pick one out for her would be suicide. If she didn’t like the dress then I might as well call off the wedding.

“Then ask Key to go with you and pick one out!” Hongki suggested and again I wanted to hug and kiss him. That was another brilliant idea!

“You are amazing! I have no idea what I would do without you!” I told him and he chuckled and patted my shoulder 

“We will start with the rings tomorrow” he said and I nodded happily

“Just remember to not tell anyone. This has to stay between you and me. No one else can know” I warned him

“Do not worry hyung. I will not tell a soul” he assured me and I smiled

“Thank you Hongki. You are the best” I told him and he looked at me smug

“I know” he replied and chuckled “Call Key and we will go tomorrow and look for rings, okey?” he said and I nodded

“Will do as fast as you leave”

“Good! See you tomorrow then hyung and I am proud of you for doing this, for going after what you truly love” he told me and smiled

“Thanks” I said and he smiled and left and I immediately picked up my phone and called Key. He was the one in SM that had the greatest taste when it came to clothes and jewellery. And he also adored both Liliana and Liandra so he would without a doubt agree to help me with this. I actually think that he would be rather excited. 

“Heechul hyung! Hi!” Key exclaimed when he answered the phone

“Hello Key” I responded happily

“What can I do for you today hyung? How can the almighty Key be at your service?” he then asked and I let out a small chuckle. Key sure was something

“I need your help to pick out some rings and a suite and a wedding dress” I told him and the other line got completely silent “Key?” I asked after about a minute or two. I was afraid that he had passed out from the shock. 

“You’re gonna marry her!?” he after another moment of silence exclaimed

“Shhhh and yes” I told him “But it’s a secret” I continued and then I told him about the plan that I and Hongki had worked on together

“That is a brilliant plan hyung! That Hongki is a very smart man, and of course I will help you!” he told me excitedly 

“Thanks, we were thinking about starting with the rings tomorrow” I informed him

“That sounds great hyung!” he started “I’ll see you tomorrow then” he continued and I nodded to myself

“Yes! And thanks again” I said smiling

“Any time hyung! Bye!” he said and then he hung up the phone, which was lucky cuz in the next moment my very own beautiful girlfriend entered the room with a big smile on her face. She immediately walked up to me and sat down on my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me softly instantly making me smile as well. 

“Who were you talking to?” she then questioned when she pulled away and just leant her forehead to mine

“Key, I’m gonna hang out with him and Hongki tomorrow” I told her and she looked at me amused. 

“That was an interesting combination” she told me and grinned

“Well Hongki needed help with clothes or whatever it was; I didn’t listen that carefully when he told me what it was that he needed help with, but anyways, I suggested that Key went with us just because he is so awesome with clothes” I explained to her, or more like lied to her, I hated it because I really did not want to lie to her, but it was necessary 

“Aha okey” she replied and chuckled “But how are you feeling?” she then asked and caressed my cheek. She normally questioned me how I was feeling about five to ten times a day. Any other guy would have gotten annoyed over that but not me. It showed that she really cared for me and that she really loved me. 

“Much better now when you are back” I told her and pecked her soft plump lips causing her to giggle

“I’m glad to hear” she said and played with my hair

“So what do you want to do now my love?” I asked her softly making her smile

“I’m gonna get you into bed” she answered and winked, I shook my head and chuckled as she stood up and rolled me to the bed

“Oh really?” I wondered and she nodded and grinned and then she carefully removed my shirt so that my arm wouldn’t hurt and then she wrapped her arm around me and I stood up on one leg with her help and she put me down on the bed and got my legs up so that I could lie down. She did all that without causing any pain to me at all. She knew exactly how to care for me. And I could not be more sure that she was the one. 

“There you go” she said and caressed my cheek and then she took off my pants and pulled the covers over me

“Will you stay?” I wondered and she frowned

“I shouldn’t, you remember that Siwon oppa came and got me the last time” she told me and I nodded. I remembered that very well

Flashback

“Liandra please stay” I pleaded my baby, she looked at me frowning

“Siwon oppa says I’m not allowed” she told me and played with my hair. I felt really annoyed. Siwon hyung was being very unfair. He let Liliana stay with Donghae just as much as she wants to but Liandra is never allowed to stay with me. It is very obvious that he doesn’t really trust me. He was happy for us like the first days but then he started to get really annoyed over our relationship. 

“Liandra, can’t you for once go against him? Please? I want you here” I told her, she sighed but then she nodded

“I’m sorry. I just don’t wanna disappoint him but what he does not know he cannot suffer from, right?” she said and lay down next to me and wrapped her arms around me hugging me tightly

“Haha yeah, thanks” I told her and kissed her hair “I love you” I added

“I love you too” she whispered and before I knew it she had fallen asleep. I looked at her; she was so adorable when she slept. Like a little kitten, or perhaps a little bunny. I leant my head to hers and closed my eyes. But then all of a sudden the door opened and in came Siwon hyung. Damn...

“Yah! What is this!?” he questioned angrily

“Hyung shhh~, she’s sleeping” I told him firmly and looked at Liandra worriedly. She had had some very rough months and now things finally were starting to calm down and she needed to rest as much as possible.

“Not here” Siwon stated and went up to the bed “I’ll take her to her own room, where she should be” he continued and bent down like he was just about to pick her up but I only tightened the grip I had around her so that he would not be able to take her away from me

“She is staying with me hyung” I said when he looked at me confused

“No she’s not!” Siwon said raising his voice and I felt Liandra moving in my arms

“Hyung go out! You’re waking her up!” I complained

“No I’m not!” he said annoyed

“Yes you are” hyung and I looked at each other and then at Liandra who slowly opened her eyes and looked at me tiredly “What are you fighting about?” she then asked and rubbed her eyes

“You’re not supposed to sleep here” Siwon told her and she sighed

“Oppa I don’t really care right now, just let me sleep, go away” Liandra mumbled and snuggled in my chest

“No, you’re coming with me” he said firmly and before I knew it he had taken Liandra from my arms and was walking out of my room carrying her

“Hyung come one, she’s a grown up woman” I tried to reason with him but he just ignored me and walked out of my room and slammed the door closed. I let out a loud groan and lay back down on the bed. Siwon hyung was so unfair. He favoured Donghae. And now when Liandra was gone I had a hard time going to sleep. I missed her. Which was weird, I wasn’t that type of guy that missed a girl. Not this much. I sighed; it was going to be a long night. But then all of a sudden the door opened and tiptoeing into my room was Liandra. I sat up and looked at her confused but she just smiled widely. 

“I came back” she stated happily making me chuckle, she was so adorable

“I can see that” I told her and grinned

“Siwon oppa thinks I’m sleeping in my room, and I locked it from outside just in case he would come by” she explained to me

“Good girl” I said and she smiled and crawled back in bed and wrapped her arms around me and I wrapped my healthy arm around her “Sleep now my love” I told her and she nodded and placed her head on my shoulder

“Love you” she mumbled and closed her eyes

“Love you too” I replied and kissed her hair and soon both of us had fallen asleep again

End of flashback

“Please stay anyways baby” I pleaded, she then smiled and nodded

“Okey” she said and then she took off her pants, I immediately looked away making her chuckle “Chullie it’s okey” she told me and walked up to me and took my face in her hands and kissed me softly “Look all you want” she continued and winked when she pulled away, I blushed only making her chuckle and then she took off her shirt and I couldn’t help but to look. She had a really beautiful body. “Can I borrow a shirt from you?” she then asked and I nodded and she went up to my wardrobe and took one of my t-shirt and put it on. Then she turned to me smiling.

“Done?” I asked her and she nodded and lay down beside me

“Just don’t make Siwon oppa take me away again” she said and kissed my nose and giggled, I grinned and shook my head and wrapped my arm around her tightly

“I won’t. I’ll hold onto you tightly” I assured her and pecked her lips

“Good, Nightiie” she said and then she closed her eyes and buried her face in the crock of my neck

“Good night honey” I said and started to hum on some random song and soon both Liandra and I were asleep.
