The next morning I woke up by when someone was shaking me and Donghae as well for that matter. I opened my eyes and there was Lia. She looked at the both of us accusingly. Damn, this wasn’t good, she looked very upset, and she was very protective about me. My sister had very strong mother instincts!

“What are you guys doing? I fall sleep and you’re alone and then I wake up and Donghae oppa is by your side” she said in a low voice, I didn’t know what to say but Donghae just chuckled not taking her serious

“Don’t worry about it” he assured her and smiled widely, Donghae why are you trying to get killed???

“Don’t worry?” she snapped at him “Don’t think that you can just sneak into our room at nights! Lili you can’t have secret meeting with boys at nights you’re not that kinda girl, I am but not you” she said seriously

“Yes exactly, you are, let me remind you about the other night that you and Heechul spent together” I told her and she sighed

“That was different, I woke up and he came out to me in the kitchen and we just talked, Donghae freakin slept in your bed!” she said having some trouble keeping her voice down

“I’m still here you know” Donghae pointed out

“Not now Donghae I’m trying to scold my sister here” she said and I looked at her amused, it was so hard to take her seriously “What have we learnt from this Lili?” she continued severely

“Don’t have boys over at night?” I guessed but to my surprise she shook her head

“No, if you wanna have boys over at night you tell me first so that I can spend the night somewhere else” she said and I looked at her in disbelief, this was her scolding?

“Okey….” I only replied her and she smiled at us widely and then she sat herself down on the bed

“So are you guys together now?” she asked us and both me and Donghae chuckled, again the famous mood swings of my sister

“Not officially, we have to get Siwon over on our side first” I told her and she nodded understanding

“I see, I don’t think that that will be a big problem for you guys” she said and hugged us both “Just a warning, if you ever act lovey dovey in front of me I will kill myself” she continued seriously

“But Lia you love lovey dovey” I complained

“Yes, if I have a boyfriend, I don’t like watching others if I’m alone” she explained and then something interesting crossed my mind, something very interesting in fact

“Speaking of boyfriends, where did you and Heechul go when you left the photo shoot?” I asked and her face expression changed in an instant and not in a good way, she looked rather pissed off actually

“I don’t wanna talk about it” she replied simply, I looked at her concerned, what had Heechul done to her???

“Are you sure bunny?” I questioned and she nodded and that’s when I saw that she had started to cry, I immediately sat up and wrapped my arms around her, I looked questioningly at Donghae but he just shook his head, he knew just as much as me which was nothing

“Yes” she sobbed quite loudly by now

“Honey please talk to me” I begged

“Baby talk, talk, talk to me~”

“Lia this is not the time to sing U-KISS songs, I’m serious” I told her firmly but she just shook her head again. Donghae then sat up too and leant to me

“Let me talk to her” he whispered in my ear and I nodded and unwrapped my arms around Lia and got up from the bed and started to walk out from the room. I stopped in the door and mouthed “Good luck” too Donghae before I exit and closed the door after me

Donghae’s POV

When Lili left I quickly pulled Lia into my arms, she was crying a lot by now. And I got angry. What could Heechul hyung possibly have done to her!? I kissed her hair and her back trying to calm her down. Epic fail… she couldn’t be comforted. Heechul must’ve done something idiotic.  

“Lia darling, what is it?” I questioned, she didn’t answer, she just buried her face in my chest and clung onto my shirt “You can tell me, I won’t tell anyone, you can trust Donghae oppa” I continued

“Heechul is a jerk” she said and looked up at me and sobbed

“I already know that, wanna be more specific?” I asked her softly

“Okey…After we left the photo shoot he took me to the Han River for a walk, we talked about everything and nothing and then he confessed that he liked me and just as he was about to kiss me, so I thought, he burst into laughter and said “OMG you actually fell for it!”, Donghae oppa he doesn’t like me at all!!!! He fooled me! He just wanted to see how I would react if he confessed to me” she cried out, anger was building up inside of me, how stupid is that guy!? I had started love Lia as my sister and that he did that to her wasn’t going to pass me by easily!

“Lia screw him! He doesn’t deserve you anyways!” I told her and she looked at me with a devastated look upon her face

“I really like him oppa” she confided in me and my face twisted, why did this amazing little girl have to like a jerk like Heechul?

“Try not to? For me? You’re way too good for him” I said to her and she frowned

“I’ll try, just cuz you’re Lili’s new boyfriend and that you have become like a brother to me that I love very much” she said and I chuckled

“I’m glad you consider me your brother and I love you too but I’m not Lili’s boyfriend yet darling” I reminded her

“Soon though” she pointed out and I couldn’t keep myself from smiling

“Yeah but go and get ready now, I have to take care of something” I said and planted a kiss on her forehead and quickly went out before she could question what it was that I was going to take care of. She wouldn’t have liked that my answer would have been: Heechul.

He was in his room sitting on his bed reading some book. I walked up to him and took the book away from him and threw it on the floor. He looked up at me angrily

“Yah! What are you doing!? Stupid dongsaeng! Show some respect to your hyung!” he yelled at me annoyed, I rolled my eyes at him, he wasn’t getting my respect after what he had done to Lia.

“You’re asking me what I’m doing!? REALLY!?” I shouted at him and his eyes widened “What the hell is wrong with you!? Did you even think how your stupid little joke would affect Lia!? No you didn’t cuz you’re an idiot!!!!” I continued, Heechul didn’t react as I thought he would,  he didn’t scream at me and tried to defend himself instead he put his head in his hands and didn’t answer me at all “Heechul! Yah! Answer me!” I yelled and then he finally snapped

“Do you know why I did that!?!?!? I freaking confessed for real! I really like her okey! But when I had said that she just looked at me like I was stupid and to save the situation I said that I joked! Happy!?” He cried out, it shocked me, he had honestly confessed to her? Wow... I sat down next to him and put a hand on his back

“You shouldn’t have done it, you should’ve stood for your confession” I told him, he looked at me and grinned

“Yeah, I know but it’s too late now, she probably hates me now too” he said sadly

“Yeah kinda, I talked to her” I said and he nodded

“Of course, damn I can’t do a single thing right!” Heechul groaned in frustration

“Just give her some time, she’ll get over it, but you can’t be your overconfident self, you have to be sweet and caring” I explained to him

“Donghae, I’m not that kind of person, I just don’t do sweet and lovey dovey, that’s your thing but not mine. God she’ll never start to like me, she’ll hate me forever”

“Drama queen” I muttered, Heechul slapped my head, damn him and his super hearing

“I’m serious over here Donghae! What kind of girls likes a guy like me?” he asked

“You have tons of fans that love you” I pointed out but he shook his head

“I love my fans but I want Lia to love me”

“Tough situation hyung”

“Is that all you have to say?” he wondered

“Yeah” I replied and grinned

“Yah!” he slapped me again

“I already said what you have to do, be nicer” I told him and he frowned

“I’ll try my best but it’s just something about her that drives me crazy and makes me forget being nice”

“Try, your hardest that is”

“Yeah, I will”

I left Heechul and went to Lili and Lia’s room again. Lia was lying on her bed sleeping. She was probably tired from all the crying. Lili on the other hand sat on her bed with her computer in her knee and listened to music. I went up to her and sat down by her side. I carefully removed the computer and laid down in her lap. She smiled at me and kissed my forehead

“Where did you go?” she questioned “You just left my sister” she continued and frowned

“I went to talk to Heechul” I replied her and she nodded seriously “He did confess to her for real, he just thought that she was going to reject him so then he told her that he joked” I explained and Lili frowned again, I have to be honest it made her look really cute

“Such a complicated man” she stated and I nodded

“Indeed he is”

“Hey guys” the voice belonged to Yesung; he was standing in the door looking at us, not seeming to notice that Lili and I were so intimate. “I was wondering if Lia want to follow me out” he continued

“Ask her” Lili answered “It’s about time that she wakes up” she continued and Yesung nodded and went up to Lia. He kneeled down beside her bed and her hair carefully. He kissed her forehead softly. It was such a loving gesture. I looked at Lili, she observed Yesung intensely.  She leant down her face to me so that she could whisper in my ear without Yesung hearing

“Donghae...” she started and glanced at Yesung that was now caressing Lia’s cheek “Heechul might only hurt her, Yesung is a nice guy” she continued, I looked up at her, she was being serious

“Do you want me to see if Yesung likes her or talk to her about him?” I asked

“Both?” she said a bit questioningly, I nodded “She seems to be comfortable around you and trust you” she continued

“I will, she deserves the best” I told her causing her to smile

“You’re amazing Hae”

“You too” I assured her
