Kyuhyun's P.O.V


It was friday night, and I'd just gotten a call from Mr. Lee.

Apparently Sungmin, had been so well behaved, and hadn't complained about being grounded once, so he had shortened it.

But what Mr. Lee didn't realise, was that Sungmin hadn't complained, because he hadn't really missed out on anything.

I'd visited him every night.

But hey! who am I to complain, if he wants to shorten it!?

It saves me sneaking around for another two nights.

I did however make it clear to Sungmin, that if I continued to visit him after hours, he was to leave the front door open for me.
Bugger shimmying up and down drain pipes!
It's not my style.....

So anyway, getting back to the phone call.

He'd invited me over to sort of surprise Min.
I was game!
I did actually have a little surprise for him.

Sungmin's P.O.V

I was looking forward to seeing Kyuhyun tonight.
He usually came over when my parents were asleep.

My dad was annoying me though.
He's been staying up later and later every night.
He has been writing his book.
But it meant me and Kyuhyun could spend less time together!

Two more nights and it could be back to normal.
I'd announce my retirement from the public eye, and retreat to my bed with Kyuhyun and remain there!

I'd learnt a lot about him.
We spent hours just talking.
It was great how comfortable I felt around him.
I could just sit there, and be childish, and silly, and a bit flirty.
I love, love!

Kyuhyun's P.O.V

I carefully placed my surprise for Sungmin in the back seat of my car.
I hope he liked it.
I'd sort of dropped hints to him about it last night, and then I went and picked it up after school today.

I feel like santa clause!

I skipped happily to my door, and climbed in, settling myself, and putting on a CD.

True! It was my favourite song anyway...but I listened to it alot more now!
It's about letting love go...but it's so beautiful.

I kept it on repeat, all the way to Min's house.

I don't know if I could do that.
I couldn't just let Min go.
Not without a fight anyway.

I was b with excitement as I turned into his driveway.
I felt like I hadn't seen him in ages!
In reality, it'd been about 4 hours....

Okay! I'm staying in the car for this song.
I turned the volume up, and sang along...

I was seriously considering this to be the song version of my feelings.

Sungmin’s P.O.V

I was sitting on my bed, flipping through a boring magazine, when I heard the doorbell ring.
who could that be?

I picked myself up off the bed, and opened my door a crack.
The only sound I got was muffled.
I snuck to the top of the stairs, hoping to catch a glimpse of the late night visitor.

KYUHYUN!!

The speed I ran down those stairs was phenomenal.
He craned his neck up when I'd shouted his name, and a bright smile had swept across his face.
He had a large box in his hands, and as soon as I made a bee-line for him, he placed it gently on the ground.

I hurled myself, from the bottom step of the stairs, and clung to him for dear life.
I'd managed to wrap my arms and legs around him.
He's not going anywhere!

"You only saw him at school Min....are you always so dramatic?"
"I'm afraid I am father....I wonder where I get it from?" I said sarcastically, as I bit my lip and rolled my eyes around, pretending to think.
"Don't be a smart Alec...do you wanna' be grounded again?" He said trying not to crack a smile.

Again?....

"Does that mean I'm not grounded anymore?" I squeaked.
"What do you think?" He said raising his eyebrow.
"OH DADDY! I love you the best!" I said throwing myself at him.
"Okay! Okay! I'm an old man...don't break my hip!" He said, hugging me.
"Does this mean...Kyuhyun can stay?!" I added hopefully.
"He wouldn't be here otherwise.....go on...be young...enjoy yourselves...."
"But not too much!" He added quickly.
He laughed, and narrowed his eyes at us.
"Damn! you caught us..." I joked.

Kyuhyun's P.O.V

I wanted to get Sungmin upstairs.
Not in the 'do not disturb' sign way.

I just couldn't wait to give him his gift.

Mr. Lee had left us alone in the hallway.
"Do you wanna go upstairs Min?" I asked happily.
"What?! NO....I've spent far too long up there...can we go out?!" He whined.

"Okay then.....but you don't get your special surprise." I said, holding up the box.
His eyes lit up, and a dimply smile graced his face.
"You got me a surprise?"
I nodded my head.
"I sure did Bunny...you wanna go open it up?"
He grasped my hand in his, nodded his head excitedly, and dragged me up the stairs.
I had to be careful with the gift though.

We reached his bedroom, and he hurried me in, sitting me on the bed.
He banged the door shut behind himself, and came to join me on the bed.
He really did look like a kid at christmas.

He was staring at the box with interest.
Obviously trying to figure out what it was.

I placed the box on the bed.
"Close your eyes Minnie" I whispered.
He did what I said, and kept that cute smile on his face.

I made sure he wasn't peeking, and proceeded to get his present.

Sungmin's P.O.V

I kept my eyes closed tight!
I really wanted this to be a surprise.
"Put your hands out Bunny.."
I put them out in front of me.
A moment later, there was a soft, heavy object placed in them.
"Open your eyes now..."
I opened them, and nearly lost my mind.

In my hands, was a.........pug puppy.

It was absolutely  the best present I'd ever received.
It wasn't a baby...but it wasn't fully grown, it was just....perfect!
It was fawn, and had the biggest pair of brown eyes I'd ever seen.
It looked at me lovingly.
I clutched it to my chest, and then held it in front of me at arms length.
It wagged its little tail excitedly, and poked it's tongue out from between its lips.
I was in love all over again!

I brought the puppy down into my lap, and just cuddled it into my cardigan.
I pulled my eyes from it reluctantly, and directed them at Kyuhyun.
"Do you like it?" He asked shyly.
"Like it....like it?....I love it to bits Sweetie!" I giggled.

"Do you really....I'm so happy!" he said breathing a sigh of relief.
"I was dropping hints last night, and I just got it this afternoon, You said it was your favourite dog, so I scoured the town for one!"
I leant forward, being careful not to smush the puppy, and encased Kyu's lips, in a deep kiss.
"I love it...and I love you!"
He smiled, and blushed.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" I enquired, looking down at the sparkling brown eyes.
"He's a boy...I didn't name him.. I thought you'd like to!"
I was in trouble of keeling over with joy.

"You're a little boy are you huh?" I cooed.
"Let's see...what should I call you?..."

I thought, and thought, and thought!
My mind was pretty blank.

I looked the puppy over.

"Peppa'!" I shouted happily.
"Peppa' pug?" Kyuhyun chuckled.
"It's cute...I like it.."
i nodded my head in agreement.
Kyuhyun slid closer to me on the bed, and fussed the top of Peppa's head.
"You're the best boyfriend, anyone could ask for!" I gushed, snuggling up with him.
"I got the puppy for purely selfish reasons!" he stated, grinning.
"And why would that be?"
"So I know, you're being taken care of, while I'm not with you."

"Oh, you're too cute!" I squeaked, kissing his cheek.

"You'll take good care of Peppa' won't you Min?"
"Of course I will Kyuhyun!...we can take him for walks, and go to the park!"
He laughed.
"See...I told you I was being selfish"
"I get to spend even more time with you now."

I kissed Peppa's little head, and gave Kyu a matching one.

"Do you feel like watching a movie?" Kyuhyun asked.
"Yeah..it's too late to take this little cutie out anywhere!" I replied, smiling widely at the puppy.

And so we did.
I cuddled right down into my covers, with Kyuhyun at my side, resting his head on my tummy, while Peppa, made itself at home alongside him, curled up, snoozing throughout  the film.
