I think I've gone into shock.

I'm still bobbing in the dark, freezing water, with Kyuhyun, but I can't seem to react to him.

He loves me....
There's no question about it!
He said it as plainly and clearly as you like.
I was just lost for words...

Kyuhyun's P.O.V

Riiiiiight.....

I don't think that went as well as I'd hoped.

Sungmin seemed......

shocked......to say the least!
He was just bobbing with the waves, and appeared to be looking right through me.
Stupid..stupid...stupid!!

I just had to ruin a perfect evening, by dropping a bombshell like that on him.
I mean...we'd just crashed through a dock.. and were soaking wet, and chilled to the bone, and I just blurted out 'I love you' dead naturally, like it was nothing.

How else was he supposed to react?
I was starting to hyperventilate.
Okay!..you need to calm down Kyuhyun...get a grip....take deep breaths...and count to ten!

I sqouze my eyes shut, and mentally counted to ten.
..8, 9, 10.....

Welll then! at least I know THAT doesn't work.

Min hadn't moved at all.
He was perfectly still.
Maybe I should just leave him alone for a while?

Sungmin's P.O.V

I felt like I wasn't in my own body.
I could see, and hear everything around me, but I couldn't move.
Believe me...I'd tried.

Kyuhyun looked panicked.
I knew he'd be worrying.
He always does.
I wanted to grab him, and tell him I loved him back.
I wanted to hold him, and never let go.
I wanted to do so much, but my stupid body had gone into shutdown.
MOOOOOVE....

I urged my limbs to come back to life.
My eyes began to move a little, and I could very clearly see Kyuhyun's gutted little face.
That face is familiar....

He looked ready to leave.
Pleeeeease...come on.....move!!!

I couldn't let him leave thinking I didn't care about him again.
He had moved closer to me than before, but didn't dare touch me.

"Sungmin....I think it's best if I give you some time....you know.. alone...to give what I said some thought.."
NOOOOO.. don't go!!!

I still couldn't answer him, and so he moved away a little, dropping his head.

"I understand if you don't feel the same way...." he trailed off.

The hell I don't!

My body seemed to come alive right at that moment.
I stopped bobbing gently in the water, and lunged at Kyuhyun, without thinking twice about it.
He looked up a little shocked by the sudden movement, but I gave him no time to react.

I threw my body against his.
I wrapped my legs, tightly around his hips, and coiled my arms around his neck, crashing my lips into his.

Actions speak louder than words after all.

I don't think Kyuhyun needed a second to think either.
Instinct took over, and he immediately moved his lips with mine.
I roughly pawed my hands through his hair, and down his back, locking myself into him even more.
My lips felt sore already, but the sheer ecstasy of the kiss prevented me from breaking free of it.

The taste of Kyuhyun, mixed with the feel of his hot breath against my delicate skin, sent me into a euphoric state.

One I was sure to be in for a while....

Kyuhyun's P.O.V

I'd forgotten what I was worrying about now.

Sungmin had a talent for doing that.
Add his lips to the equation, and I could barely remember my own name.

I let my hands travel along Sungmin's spine, and down to his hips.

I sharply pulled them closer to my own, and produced a low moan from him.

I smiled into the kiss, and nibbled gently at his bottom lip, swirling my tongue lightly over his lip.

Sungmin shivered, and clutched my back.

"Kyuhyun.." he managed to whimper out.

I pulled away from him reluctantly.

His eyes were still closed, and his lips were partially open.

I waited for him to compose himself.

Nervous again now....

Sungmin's P.O.V

God that boy knows how to kiss!

I knew I wanted to say something to him, but my mind was still a bit hazy after that little stunt.

I kept my eyes shut, and composed myself.

Kyuhyun waited patiently for me.

I slowly opened my eyes, and instantly connected them with his.

His little cheeks and nose, were rosey, and his lips were pulled into a perfect smile.

I couldn't help but smile as soon as I saw him.

I knew what I wanted to say to him now.

"Kyuhyun I-" I began.

"Look Sungmin...I'm sorry I sprung this on you, it wasn't the best situation, but I just had to say it, and I really meant it, and you don't have to say it back, so don't feel you have to, and-"
I cut him off by placing my hand over his mouth.
"Stop!.....I'm going to say something, and I don't want you to say anything back."

He continued to look at me.

"I love you."

I removed my hand from his mouth, and kept eye contact.

"Iloveyoutoo!" he spit out urgently.
"And I'm not saying it because you did, I just really wanted to!"
I kissed him swiftly, and pulled back smiling.
"I love you!" I said dreamily.
"I just wanted to say it one more time on my own!" I gushed.

Kyuhyun's P.O.V

HE LOVES ME......HE LOVES ME!!

I couldn't believe it.
This perfect boy, who I was madly, deeply, inexplicably in love with...
...loved me back!

I've never felt this way before.
I couldn't describe it in anyway.....and everything else I'd ever felt, seemed simple and dull in comparison.

I could think of nothing better to do right now, than to hold this boy as close to me as I could, and savour every moment of it.
And that's just what I did...

A little while later, my mind was drifting through many thoughts.
But one stood out amongst the rest.
What time is it?

I couldn't think of how long we'd been in the water for, let alone how late it was.

I looked over Sungmin's shoulder, at my wrist.
Damnit!...my watch is goosed.

I hated to do it, but I had to get Min home.
Mr. Lee is going to KILL me!
"Minnie..." I whispered.
He lifted his head from my shoulder, and smiled at me warmly.
"Come on Bunny..I need to get you home."
The smile left his face.
"Why?"
"I promised your dad, I'd have you home by 12....besides...you'll get a cold if you stay in this water much longer."

"Forget about that....let's just stay here for a little while longer!"
"Nooo..come on Min..I don't want to go either, but your dad made me promise...and I don't want him to think I'm a bad influence or anything.."
Sungmin sighed.
"Rules are meant to be broken baby.." He cooed.

Resist Kyuhyun...resist!

"Please Min...if I bring you home late, your dad won't let me take you out again.. you don't want that do you?"
He huffed, and relented.
"Fine!"
He began to swim to the beach, and I followed behind him quickly.
As we pulled our drenched bodies from out of the water, I searched my pockets.
Gotcha'!

Thank God my keys stayed in my pocket.
That would've been fun....

"Come on Beautiful..." I smiled.

I held my hand out for Min, and lead him the short distance back to the car.

Fast Forward Back To Sungmin's House

The two of us sat in my car, outside the house, looking up at it.
We were both silent.
When we'd gotten back to the car, I'd checked the time.
I was meant to bring Min home for 12.
It was now 1!
I'm gonna die aren't I?

We couldn't put it off any longer.
"Come on Bunny....."
I motioned to the house, and we both slowly and quietly climbed out of the car.
I shut my car door with a soft thud, and joined Min.
I entwined my fingers with his, and walked with him to the front door.
Maybe they'll be asleep.

Maybe they won't even hear us.

No such luck!

As soon as we reached the front door, it swung open.
Stood in the open doorway, was a pyjama clad father with a stern face.

"Where have you two been?!" Mr Lee said, raising his voice slightly.
"Dear God!....and why are you both dripping wet?!!" He added.
Me and Sungmin just stood there, hand in hand, looking up at him dumbly.
"Errr....well..about that.." Began Min.
"We had a little accident at the beach.." I finished.

Mr. Lee sighed, and pinched the bridge of his nose between his thumb and forefinger.
"Both of you get in here!....you need to get warmed up!"
That was it?.....no screaming, no killing..

I was more than a little surprised.
He turned his back to us, and shuffled into the house towards the kitchen.

Me and Sungmin looked at each other, and followed after him warily.
I think we both expected him to blow up.

When we reached the kitchen, he was busying himself by the stove.
He didn't turn around as we entered.
"You two go and get cleaned up...Min can lend you some clothes for tonight Kyuhyun....I'll make you both some hot chocolate, so be quick."

I wasn't about to pass up hot chocolate, and I definitely needed to get out of these clothes.
Min must've read my mind, because we both hurriedly ran upstairs into his room.
"Is your dad usually this calm Min?" I asked confused.
He was searching through his extensive wardrobe for some fresh clothes.
"Not really....I think he's going soft in his old age!" He joked.

"Here, you can wear these..." He said, tossing some clothing on the bed.

"Thanks Bunny...do you mind if I have a quick shower?...I smell awful." I said, as I wrinkled my nose.

He walked over to me, and placed his hands on my hips.
"Of course you can sweetie...and you don't smell awful...you smell great like always." He said, pecking my lips.
I smiled and grabbed the clothing off the bed.
"I'll be back" I said in true terminator fashion.
He giggled, and plonked on the bed.

I climbed into the shower after peeling my clothes off, and let the hot water, warm my skin up.
I placed my hands on the wall in front of me, and let the water run down my back.
It felt good!

After a good thorough scrub of my hair, and a little more warming up, I climbed out.
I quickly towelled myself dry, and pulled Min's clothes on.
They fit nice and snug, and smelt like him.
At least I can smell him on me all night.

My hair could just do its own thing, I didn't have the time, nor the inclination to bother with it.

I walked back out into the bedroom, and Min was still sat on the bed, waiting for me.

"Hey you...." I smiled.

"Hey....you took long enough.. I'm freezing here!" He grinned.

"Aww I'm sorry bunny.. want me to make it up to you?" I said wiggling my eyebrows suggestively.

"There'll be no 'making up' tonight Mr." he said chuckling.

"Okay...then go and get that y arse in the shower!"
"You're so bossy!" He laughed.
"Ahh..you love it!" I said, grinning.

Sungmin's P.O.V

We'd both finished our showers, and we were now making our way back downstairs for our hot chocolate.
Yummmy!

We entered the kitchen, and my dad was just finishing pouring the steamy, loveliness into cups.
We'd sat down, and he joined us shortly afterwards, placing the cups in front of us.
"I trust you can hold this cup without dropping it?" My father said, handing a cup to Kyuhyun.
"Sure thing Mr. Lee...last time was different." he replied, laughing lightly.
"Aye..I know...." 
We all three, sat there for a while, sipping our hot chocolate, and thinking our own thoughts.
My father was the first to break the silence.
"You do know, you're not getting off this easily don't you?.." He said, swigging back the last of his drink.
I KNEW IT!

"Yeah..I know dad...I didn't think I would." I said glumly.
My father was a cool guy, but if you did something wrong, he wouldn't let you off scot' free.

Kyuhyun was staring intently at my father, waiting to see what would happen.
"You're grounded for a week....except for school obviously....and you can't have any friends over."
He was being firm but fair...

"Okay dad..." I said quietly.
I could only see Kyuhyun at school.

That was going to be hard.

Especially after tonight.

I looked over at Kyuhyun.
He looked just as sad as me.
"I understand you two are young, and you had that little accident...."
"...But still...you should of kept an eye on the time, I was worried sick! anything could of happened to you two."
Awww..my dad cares just as much about Kyuhyun!

"I understand Mr. Lee...I'm sorry about tonight.. I promised I'd have  Sungmin home, and I broke that promise."
"I appreciate that Kyuhyun, I do trust you still, so don't worry about that...you had a lot on your mind tonight."
They both smiled at each other.
"Right!....I'm off to bed....I telephoned your parents Kyuhyun, and told them you'd be late.. they'll be expecting you home soon though, so you'd better say goodnight to Min."
I miss him already.

Kyuhyun's P.O.V

When Mr. Lee said I had to say goodnight, I felt lost.
I miss Minnie already.

I got up from the table, closely followed by an upset looking Min.
He walked me to the front door, and stayed with me until I reached my car.
"A whole week!" I moaned.
"A whole week!" He repeated.

"At least I can still see you in school...I mean it won't be the same thing...but a week will go by quick enough.. I hope" He said softly.

"I know....I'll still call you every night...he never said anything about that!" I said happily.
I love finding loopholes.

"Yeahhh, that's true.." Sungmin said cheering up a little.
"Anyway.. you better get home.. drive safe sweetie...I love you.."
I smiled and cupped his face in my hands.
"I love you too....I'll call you when I get home!"
I kissed his flawless lips one last time, and climbed into my car.

I brought the engine to life, and set off, leaving my special little guy behind.
I could see him through my rear view mirror, standing in the driveway, still waving, as I to the main road.
What a first date that turned out to be...

I wish the night didn't have to end.

Light bulb moment!

Didn't Min's dad say he was going to bed?

The night doesn't have to end....

I pulled my car over to the side of the road, and quickly found my phone.
'ring...ring...ring...ring...'

"Kyuhyun...what is it honey?.." My mother answered sleepily.
"Hey mum...errr.. Mr. Whittaker changed his mind, and said I could stay at their house tonight.. I thought I'd let you know, okay?"

"Oh...umm.. yeah...as long as it's okay with them!...make sure you're in school tomorrow though!"
"Great, thanks mum...goodnight!"
"Goodnight honey" She yawned.
I instantly felt excited.
I turned the car around quickly, and headed back the way I'd come.

Hold on Min...I'm a coming!
