“Class, as all of you know, the foundation week is around the corner again and as senior students, we have to think of a fund raising activity for our class. Any suggestions?” their class adviser asked them and they can only hear their eyes moving.

The students may be excited for the event for it’s the time where they have no classes the whole week and just have fun. Not only they get to relax and have fun, students from other schools were also welcome, plus the last night of the event will be fun-filled party. But the thing was, they don’t know which booth to put up.

“Why don’t we put up a maid café?” Eunmi suggested. Everyone looked at her with en expressionless face. “I mean no one has tried to do that, right?” she sheepishly looked at them like she was going to be eaten alive if there’s one wrong word she would say.

“She’s right! A maid café! We have the most popular boys and girls here in this class and they could all be the ‘servants’!” Alexa added to help her friend.

“Yeah! Why don’t we do that?” U-kwon added and the class agreed the moment he spoke up.

“Okay, maid café next week.” The professor nodded at his students’ idea with a huge smile on his face.

Within a week, everything for their booth was already prepared. Decorations, coffee, designed cups, and even their maid and butlers outfit made them look like straight out of a comic. To their surprise, most of the students came in to their room, not only for the popular people but also for the food. Even their professors praised them for the brilliant idea. They weren’t even there to check up on them, but to dine as well.

“Good morning~ Welcome to Maid Café~!” Alexa greeted every customer with a smile that came in. but one time, her smile faded away and replaced with shock.

“I’m a real person, don’t be surprised. You look cute by the way.” He smiled to her.

“Janus…w-w-what are you doing here?”

“Can I talk to you…please?” Alexa knew what he meant immediately and asked for Eunmi to take her place for a while.

“What are you doing here?” she asked Janus once again as they walked outside.

“We’re on a family vacation and I just thought that I could visit you.” He said shyly as he looked down at his feet. He can’t deny that he still had feelings for Alexa and if there’s anything that he can do to have her back, he’d do it.

“How?”

“Your mom…”

“Of course. So, what do you want to talk about?” she beamed although she was also quite excited to see an old friend.

“I just wanted to say I’m sorry about what happened to us.” He said truthfully. He regret being selfish and wanting to stop her from moving.

 “You don’t have to be sorry. And besides, it already happened.”

“That is why I am also here.. I want to set everything straight. Uhh… I was wondering if you could give me another chance?” he said looking directly into her eyes as he held her hands.

She knew there were people staring at them right at that moment, but she ignored them. Only she knows when Janus is telling the truth or not and she can already see the sincerity in his eyes. But the thing was, she can’t accept him anymore.

“I-I’m sorry… I can’t…”

“Why?”

“You know me. I can easily forget the bad things that happened to me and I won’t let myself experience that things again. And… uhm…you were one of the bad things…” she lowered her head. “I mean not you as in you…it’s the experience.” She softly told him while retreating her hands back.
