Of Rolled-up Newspapers and Strawberry Yogurts
The Case Of The Weird SchoolShin Hye was on her knees, begging her Harabeoji to just take her out of the gang.
"Wae?"
"Harabeoji, that Soo Hyun guy, he is my student!" she reasoned out. "He might open his mouth and bust me...maldo andwaeyo...."
"Oh, you will not be exposed," Harabeoji smirked. "Our gang imposes severe punishment to those who break our code. Hohohoho!"
Shin Hye pouted as her grandpa laughed heartily like Slam Dunk's Coach Anzai.
"There are a lot of perks, you see, like meeting Brad Pitt in person!" Harabeoji said.
"But I am not a fan of Brad Pitt," she cringed. "Harabeoji, please????"
Harabeoji got his ubiquitous rolled-up newspaper and wacked the table beside her.
"Nonsense, Shin Hye, nonsense!" he roared. "You are in my lineage, so you will get to be part of our gang."
"T_T I must have been a traitor in my past life..." Shin Hye winced.

The four guys met up in the park. The three saw Yong Hwa eating yogurt from a cup.
"You hate yogurt," Jung Shin solemnly said.
"I like yogurt now," Yong Hwa said solemnly.
Of course, they were solemn. And they never smiled.
"I saw you getting in Yeon Seo-noona's window," Yong Hwa pointed at Min Hyuk. "Did she taste great?"
"Yeah, she does," Min Hyuk said. "Her lips are as sweet as ever."
But he said it solemnly, like he had no life in him.
"Noonas make great girlfriends," Jong Hyun said solemnly as well.
The four vampire guys.
"You always like noonas," Jung Shin told him.
"And you are a player," Yong Hwa told Jong Hyun.
"I love Victoria-noona, but G.na-noona is hot," Jong Hyun said as he squinted his eyes and his lips.
The guys knew why Jong Hyun liked G.na.
"I saw Alodia Gosengfiao in person," Jung Shin said.
"Jinjja?" Min Hyuk asked excitedly, though still in a solemn voice.
"Ne. Nana wanted to go to the Animax cosplay event, so I went with her," Jung Shin said.
"And then? And then?" was Yong Hwa's excited question in his stoic face and voice.
"I mistook Alodia for Park Bom," Jung Shin said boredly. "But she is also pretty."
The guys knew that Jung Shin appreciates girls but loves Nana the most. Among the guys, he was the most faithful. Min Hyuk and Jong Hyun were players, and Yong Hwa--uhm, an aspiring bachelor.
But they did not know that he had kissed Shin Hye.
As the players asked Jung Shin about Alodia, Yong Hwa contemplated as he finished the last of his yogurt. Among all the girls he met, Shin Hye was the weirdest.
And the most interesting.
Then, the four of them reached their house.

They met their uncle, sitting by the sofa and watching some French movies. The uncle looked almost the same age as Yong Hwa, but he was uncle. The four of them looked boredly as their uncle turned down the volume of the remote control.
"How's first day of school?"
"So-so," Yong Hwa said.
"Uncle Geun Suk, can you please raise our allowance?" Min Hyuk asked in solemn voice.
Geun Suk raised his eyebrow as he eyed Min Hyuk with his sharp eyes, which were enhanced by his guyliner.
"Min Hyuk-ah, ask your Eomma about that, not me," Geun Suk said.
"~Merong," Min Hyuk pulled out his tongue at his uncle, still with his stoic face.
"Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha," Geun Suk laughed in a stoic manner. "You cannot play around with me, you brat."
He got up and went to Min Hyuk, who walked briskly in a steady manner. Geun Suk chased his nephew around the living room like they were robots. The other guys looked at their cousin being chased by their uncle for punishment.
"Uncle should just give us money already," Jong Hyun said.
"I agree," Jung Shin said.
But Yong Hwa remained silent as he thought about Shin Hye.
