Junsu’s POV

“Hyung, come…” I gently tugged at the hyung’s suit. When he did not make any movement, I crouched down in front of him. With defeated eyes, hyung finally looked up to me.

“He promised, Susu-ah… you heard him when he did, right?” I nodded my head. “Gah, I’m so nervous right now?”

“Everything’s going to be fine, hyung. I’m sure Yunho-hyung is.” I placed my hands on his shoulder, reassuring him and myself at the same time. Yunho-hyung should have arrived at least an hour ago and still, he’s not here. “Come on, hyung… your performance will start soon.”

Reluctantly, Jaejoong-hyung finally agreed.

A few hours later, Kim’s (JaeMin) Residence.

I found Yunho-hyung standing by the door after I have opened the door. Looking worried and tired, he asked me for Jaejoong-hyung right away. “Where is he?”

“He’s in his room. He hasn’t come out since we got home though.” I answered, watching as Yunho-hyung cover his face w/ his hands. It was then that I also noticed a cut on his lips “Hyung, what happened to your lips?”

“Ah…this is nothing.” He replied back, turning to me with a reassuring smile, letting out a sigh at the same time. “I’ll go talk to him.”

I nodded as Yunho-hyung disappeared into Jae-hyung’s room, hoping that this even won’t do them harm.

“Su...” I looked up only to meet a pair of eyes staring at me. Standing by our room’s door was my Yoochun, looking all cute in his pajama with his sleepy look. “C’mon… you know I can’t sleep without you.”

A grin appeared on my lips as I joined Yoochun back in our room. I’m worried about my hyungs but for now I’ll simply enjoy

Yunho’s POV

I know I’m at fault. No matter what the reason I have for not being able to show up, I know that I have just disappointed Jaejoong again. “I’m sorry…”

Those were the words I said as soon as I closed the door and it was only Jae and me. He did not say anything for a while which only confirmed the anger and disappointment I know I made him feel.

“I knew you’d say that…” He said when he finally did spoke. “…you’ve been saying it a lot lately if you have not noticed.”

I kept my head down quiet knowing the truth in the words he just said.

“Yunho-ah…” I looked up only to meet Jaejoong’s defeated looking eyes. “Do you remember when you started telling “sorry”?

Horrible is an understatement to describe how I am feeling right now. With the light coming from the small lamp on the side table, I walked up to the bed where Jae’s lying down. Crouching down, I meet Jaejoong’s eyes amidst the dark, seeing the hurt in his eyes and the disappointment in his voice. “Jaejoong-ah…”

“What is it this time, Yunho?” He asked, disappointment in his voice. “Let me guess the reason... I can honestly think of just one reason why you stood me up…again... it’s Kim Heechul, isn’t it?”

There was no denial that came from me. How can I do that when Jaejoong’s right, when it’s the truth.

“You know how important this event was… you know how nervous I am when I found I’m going to have to face all those people that if it weren’t for you and the other’s encouragement I would have backed out the last minute…”

Silence reigned over us again before I finally found my tongue to at least try to explain.

“Junki-ssi…” I started uncertainly. “…he…he tried to force Heechul ssi…”

Another silence followed.

“Junki would never do something like that.” Jaejoong answered with finality.

“What?” I was surprised to hear what Jae had to say. I bet you would too

Jaejoong sat up from his position and continued. “It might be just one of Heechul’s acts to get to you!”

“Jaejoong… what are you saying…that’s…absurd!”

“It might be absurd but it’s the truth!” He snapped. “Heechul will do everything if he wants to get something. And he obviously wants you! Why can’t you still see that?!?!”

My anger was finally slowly rising and is starting to get the best out of me. “Jaejoong, how many times do I have to tell you that Heechul-ssi and I are just friends? Why do you always have to think that?!

“Because no matter what, it’s still the truth!” He snapped back. Jae himself looked like he’s about to explode. “Heechul’s just such a good actor he’s able to manipulate you this easily. “He can fool anyone but me, Yunho… anyone but me.”

I tried to contain my anger as I felt another flood of guilt was over me. I ran my hands through my hand and crouched down in front of him. “Boo… please… listen to me… be reasonable…”

“So now I’m being unreasonable?” Jae scoffed. “You ditch me for the nth time, Yunho … you stood me up to come running to Heechul to God know’s where and I’m being unreasonable? How many times more will this have to happen, Yunho? Until Heechul finally have you going crazy for him!?”

Another silence passed by us… it was merely a few seconds.

“It’s happening again. First Junki and now…”

I don’t know what has gotten into me but the moment I heard Junki’s name slip out of his mouth I completely loose my temper. The anger I was feeling towards that man only doubled when I heard my Boo say his name. “Can you please leave that bastard out of this!”

“Lee Junki might be a bastard but he’s definitely not someone who’ll do something like that.” I could only stare at Jae as he said those words.

“Are you telling me that you’d believe him more that you believe me?” I laughed in disbelief.

“No. But I’d believe anyone over Heechul anytime.”

“Fine! Believe what you want to believe then! I’m out of here!”

“Fine!” I heard Jae reply as I walked towards the door.

“Fine!” I said one last time, slamming the door behind me.

Jaejoong’s POV

It’s been two days since the fight I had with Yunho. I missed him terribly but my pride and the anger was stopping me from doing anything to make amends between us.

“Come on, hyung, everyone’s already waiting for us.” I snapped out of my thoughts as I felt Siwon’s light nudge on my side. I can’t remember how I got in here but I found myself looking up at Club Icarus. A newly opened club that Yoochun wanted to go to. Yoochun kept pestering me about coming with the rest of them until I gave in.

He said it was to get my mind off some things.

We were greeted by the extremely loud music coming from the sound system of the club once we stepped in. I’m not the kind of person who enjoys going into one but I must say the interior of the club was amazing, no wonder it became such a hit for patrons right away.

After finally managing to squeeze ourselves into the crowd, me, Siwon and Seungjun (Siwon’s bf) finally spotted Yoosu occupying a seat at a corner. I scanned the spaces between them and the rest of the guy looking for a particular face but I could find him. I couldn’t find Yunho.

My mood was quickly spoiled at that. I sat beside Junsu and started to drink the wine they’ve ordered for me. Not wanting to have them worrying over me instead of enjoying the party, I decided to leave our table and went to the bar to get myself another drink.

“Yunho.” My wandered back to my boyfriend who’s making me go crazy. Taking in the bitter liquid in my glass, I motioned to order another one when I noticed someone familiar from another corner of the bar, looking totally wasted.

Not in the mood to play the good guy, I shrugged my shoulder and continued with my drinks. Minutes later, I heard the sound of loud followed by a guy’s angry voice.

“What the ! Yah! Do you want to die!!!” As I glance at where the sound’s coming from, I saw man, much taller, grabbing a totally wasted Lee Junki by his shirt’s collar. Instead of showing any fear, Junki simply let out a hearty laugh.

The man was ready to give him blow in the face when I stepped in. The angry man turned to me. “Is this your lunatic your friend?”

I nodded my head and apologized to the man, who thankfully was still sober enough to know that Junki isn’t. “Sorry again for the trouble, Sir.”

“You take your friend. He might be so lucky next time.”

I bowed my head again. “Nae. Gomapda.”

My browse furrowed when I felt the trembling body I was holding, turned out Junki was giggling. “Jaejoong-ah…you must have hated me so much, you wished me and Chullie would eventually broke… “

My browse furrowed not comprehending a thing the drunken guy I was holding was saying.

“Didn’t you, Jaejoong-ah?” When I didn’t answer, Junki continued to talk as I tried to pry the bottle of liquor away from him. “Jaejoong-ah, Chullie must hate me right now. Did you know what I tried? I tried to him!”

I gasped at the revelation as Junki finally passed out. My mind went black for a moment before the realization of the mistake I made two days ago flooded my mind. “Oh, God! I just had to screw everything up.” I whispered to myself.

Yunho, I hope you can still forgive me.

I managed to carry Junki out of the club as I fumbled with his cellphone trying to look for someone who can pick him up. “Damn, you’re heavy.”

Leaning Junki on the wall as I tried to keep him from falling, I scrolled down on the names on his list. I was so busy dialing I didn’t noticed Junki “woke up” from his drunken state. That’s when the unexpected happen.

Junki grabbed his phone away from me, spun me around, pinned me on the wall and kissed me fully on the lips.

“I can’t believe I’m seeing this.”

My eyes widened even more, not from the kiss but from the voice that suddenly spoke up from behind. “Yu-Yunho?!”
