LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

PERFORMANCE DAY

 

                Jenny woke up because she heard loud noises coming from downstairs. She looked at her phone to check the time; it was 5:00 in the morning. God what’s up with these people? They’re so noisy during mornings.  She rose from her bed and checked what was going on. Turned out to be that Ria was busy preparing the things she needed for the presentation. Oh today is their class presentation.

                Ria noticed Jenny. “Oh good morning, did I wake you up? I’m sorry  I’m just…so busy…..probably nervous about our show later.”

                “That’s normal for everyone,” Jenny said.

                “Yeah….by the way are you going to watch?” Ria asked.

                “After training you guys, of course I will.”

                Ria giggled at the statement. It is true that Jenny did contributed so much for their performance. She helped in the choreography and trained their voices.

                “Well see you at school then,” Ria waved good bye.

                “Wait, wait, wait…you’re leaving already. It still 5:20 in the morning.”

                “I need to be there as early as I can we need to prepare a lot of things,” Ria explained.

                “Okay, see you later,” Jenny said, and then Ria bid good bye again.

AT SCHOOL

                Ria entered her classroom and was surprised when all of her group mates went to her with panic stricken faces.

                “What’s wrong?” Ria asked.

                “Mariz won’t make it,” One of the girls said.

                “WHY?!”

                “She was brought to the hospital,” another explained.

                “HUH! WHY?”

                “She woke up with a terrible stomach ache and started vomiting,” The class president said.

                “OH-MY-GOD, so who’s the lead now?” Ria asked.

                All of her group mates looked at each other, like trying to guess who it will be.

                “So, who’s the replacement?”

                “You are,” They all looked to where the voice came. It was their teacher. “You will take the place of Mariz, Ria.

                Ria jaw dropped to their teacher’s announcement.

                “But-I-I-I,”

                “Yeah, Ria could do it,” The class president said.

                “Okay then let’s start preparing,” a member said and pulled Ria’s hand.

                “B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-but,” Ria stuttered. THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

At RIA’S HOUSE

               

                Jenny woke up and went downstairs to eat breakfast, but no one was there except for the maid. “Where’s Leah?”

                “She went early to her work,” the maide replied.

                I guess I’ll be eating alone then. She started eating, as soon as she was finished she went to her room and pulled out some clothes. She then went to the bathroom and washed up. When she was all setup, she grabbed her camera and laptop and went to Ria’s school.

 

AT SCHOOL

 

                Jenny took a seat away from the crowd and opened her laptop. She may be in vacation but she can’t fight the urge to do her work. When she signed in to her chat room, she saw that NU’EST was online.

                “Sunsaenim!!!!!”  Baekho  said.

                “Hello!” She replied. Then, all of the other members chat with her. After a while Baekho, JR, MinHyun, and Aron logged out. Then a video call popped out. They were using Ren’s account.

                “YO!” All of them said.

                “Waah! I’m in public!” Jenny half screamed. She looked around and the people were already seated at the front.  Maybe the show’s about to start.

                “Sunsaenim where are you?” the boys’ asked.

                “At the school of my friend’s sister…actually this was also my school when I was studying here.”

                Everyone oohed, and asked her to show them. She refused but then gave up. So she twisted the laptop to show the place. The boys oohed and aaahed. At the scene.

                “Woah you studied at that place, cool,” JR said.

                 “Yeah, but there were al lot of renevations already.”

                Someone talked at the microphone. The show was starting. She tilted the monitor again and the buys whined.

                “We want to watch the show,” Minhyun said.

                “Fine”

                She tilted it again. Oh I think the first group is Ria’s group. The curtain opened. There were girls at the center of the stage. It’s them …wait how come one is missing…wait a minute the one at the center is….

 

RIA’S PoV

                OH GOD, OH God, OH GOD, Here goes.  I heard the music playing so I started to sing and dance with my group mates. All of us were girls since the song and dance is quite …y? We went down the stage and walked at the center of the people going to the back. I saw Jenny at the back with her laptop facing me. Her face stunned. Well she didn’t know I’ll be the lead. Slowly my nervousness went away. We faced the crowed again and went to the stage.  Here’s the high note. I took a very deep breath and released it as I hit the highest note of the song nailing the performance. The audience gave us a standing ovation.  Then we went to the back stage. All of us screamed and they told me they never knew I could sing like that. I told them that I was also surprised to myself.

JENNY’S PoV

                The group started to sing and dance.  OMG it’s Ria!  I wondered why she was the one leading the group and not Mariz…well Mariz wasn’t even there. She moved so intense all her movements were fluid. When she went to the back she saw me and my stunned face. I somehow felt that she was nervous but it was slowly going away. She’s awesome. Then they went back to the stage and she was about to do the highest note.  HERE IT COMES. She just nailed the performance.

NU’EST PoV

 

                “Ooh they’re girls,” Minhyun said.

                “I can’t understand what they’re singing,” JR said

                “I can, coz its English,” Aron said.

                “Look at the lead she’s small but she’s good,” Baekho said.

                “I can’t see their faces they’re too far,” Ren said.

                “Ohh they’re coming closer.”

                “Still can’t see their faces.”

                “Aww they’re going back.”

                ‘Wait here comes the highest part,” Aron informed them.

                Silence.

                “Woah She just nailed it.” JR said.

                “That was high,” Minhyun said.

                “Raina sunbaenim had a hard time for that part when she sang it,” Aron said.

                “Woah,” Ren said.  The voice is somehow familiar.

                “DAEBAK!!!!,” Baekho said last.

AFTER THE ENTIRE SHOW

 

                Ria came running to Jenny.

                “Why did you sang Mariz’s part and Where was she?”

                “She was taken to the hospital.”

                “OOH….You were great back there.”

                “Thanks”

                “I mean I knew someone who I was training and had a hard time for that part even Mariz was having a hard time and yet you.”

                “Maybe because of adrenalin rush I was nervous.”

                “Maybe….”

 

                They walked home.

                “Hey wanna eat outside?” Jenny asked.

                “Sure!”

                “Now we can go to Korea and have your vacation there.” Jenny said.

                “OOH YEAH!....I just remembered something” Ria started counting. “OMG it’s Ren’s birthday when we go to Korea……..I wish could meet him…(sigh).

                Jenny chuckled.  YES, you will for sure.

                “And then, 18 days later will be my birthday…woooh…I love November!”

                “Oh advance.”

                “Thanks….WE’RE GOING TO KOREA!!!!!!!!!!!!!”  Ria scremed on top of her voice.

 

A/N: Waaah updated.....wooh...hell week's coming up..waaah I HATE EXAMS.....BTW guys.. remember the scene when Ria's teacher said to study hard for the exams coz the whole class was not good at math...guess what...it happened to my class..though it was science.....loool...extreme coincidence....anyways...comment and subscribe.
