Jongin’s (Kai) POV

We all stand in the hallway awkwardly. We look to Joonmyun (Suho) who’s pacing.

“What happened?” He asks Wu Fan (Kris). He shrugs.

“He was upset, I was trying to comfort him until he kicked me in the shin and fell on his own, then he just stayed there and when I tried to get him up he slapped me. That’s when the others came and tried to help and got slapped. Although when Baekhyun tried to help he just cried more.” He says. I try not to laugh, but I do anyway. They all look at me and stop.

“I’m sorry, it’s just…Kyungsoo isn’t violent.” I say.

“He is when he’s had alcohol.” Wu Fan says. I shrug. The others wonder off somewhere, leaving me with Wu Fan.

“So…why was he crying?” I ask.

“Because I was translating for Yixing and he called Baekhyun cute and Kyungsoo heard and ran off in tears.” He says. I blink at him. He knows.

“You-you know?” I ask. He nods.

“How…do you know?” I ask. He smirks.

“When you were talking to Joonmyun on the balcony I overheard you.” He says. I blink.

“You mean you eavesdropped?” I ask. He shrugs with a smile. I sigh.

“Don’t say anything.” I say.

“I wasn’t planning on saying anything, don’t worry. But by the reaction of what happened, we should never let him drink again, or let him near Baekhyun, either one.” He says. I smile and nod. He turns to leave, but before he does, he looks at me.

“I’ll talk to Joonmyun.” He says. I nod.

I stand there for a moment, crying because Yixing called (Lay) him cute.

“Wait, Chanyeol-hyung…he…” I say.

“Chanyeol is what?” Baekhyun asks from behind me. I jump and look to him.

“It’s nothing hyung.” I say. Baekhyun shrugs and pulls me away.

Wu Fan’s POV

I walk over to where Joonmyun sits on the balcony. He looks to me as I sit across from him. He smiles to me.

“How hard does Kyungsoo slap?” He asks with amusement. I smile to him.

“Surprisingly harder than you think.” I say. He laughs and nods.

“Why was he crying?” Joonmyun asks.

“I think you know why.” I say. He blinks at me, his smile gone.

“What do you mean?” He asks. I shrug.

“It’s simple. It’s because of Baekhyun.” I say.

“He didn’t do anything though, don’t worry.” I say.

“How’d you know?” He asks. I smile as I stand.

“I followed you and Jongin out here and heard you two, it was a bit weird spying on you two, but I am of course, a leader.” I say. Joonmyun smiles and nods to me.

“You aren’t going to tell anyone, right?” He asks.

“I won’t. I have no reason to. Who knows what could happen if the rest of them found out? It could be chaos.” I say. Joonmyun stands.

“I guess you should know, Minseok and Jongdae fought about something and are ignoring each other.” He says. I nod.

“Oh, I know. I’m about to do something about it.” I say before I walk back inside.

I find the others sitting around the place. I go outside the front door to find Minseok sitting on the steps that lead up to the house. I walk over and sit next to him, he doesn’t look up.

“What’s wrong?” I ask. He doesn’t move.

“Nothing’s wrong.” He lies. I smile at his attempt of getting rid of me.

“Not going to work Minseok.” I say. He looks at me.

“Hyung, I’m your hyung.” He says. I smile and shrug.

“Fine, hyung, what’s wrong?” I ask. He sighs and looks to the pathway the steps lead down to.

“Is it normal to fight with person you like?” He asks with another sigh.

“I don’t know. Who do you like?” I ask. Minseok closes his eyes.

“I’m not telling you.” He says.

“I could probably guess.” I say.

“Sure. Go for it.” He says.

“You like Jongdae.” I say. Minseok looks at me instantly.

“H-how’d y-you know?” He asks. I smile at him.

“I am a leader. I can see these things. So, why’d you fight?” I ask.

“I kissed him.” He says. I almost laugh, but I hold it in.

“He didn’t like it?” I ask. Minseok shrugs nervously. I thought for sure they liked each other.

“I don’t know why I did it, the kiss. It was stupid, but then he was all clingy with Luhan and I wanted to talk to him but we fought and now he’s ignoring the hell out of me and just keeps to Luhan’s side.” He says. He almost sounds like a girl who has a player boyfriend, but Jongdae doesn’t look like a player and Minseok isn’t a girl. I sigh.

“I’ll help you.” I say.

I walk into the house, leaving Minseok outside. I find Jongdae in the lounge room with Luhan and Sehun. The three of them sit on the couch watching the TV. Luhan and teaching Jongdae Mandarin and Sehun seems to be high. Jongin sits next to Joonmyun on the smaller couch and Baekhyun sits on the floor, leaning on Jongin’s legs. I can’t help but notice Joonmyun’s eyes flicking from the TV to Baekhyun and Jongin’s legs. I smile at the scene.

I walk over to Jongdae and pull him up and out of the room. We walk into the hallway and I look at him.

“What is it hyung?” He asks. I smile at him, as sweetly as I can.

“Jongdae-ah…he’s sorry.” I say. Jongdae blinks at me.

“Who’s sorry?” He asks. I sigh and stop smiling.

“Minseok-freaking-hyung is sorry.” I say. Why am I doing this?

“Oh…ok.” He says. As he tries to leave I grab his arm.

“Just accept his apology for whatever he did, we’re meant to be one and I can’t let the two of you fight.” I say. Jongdae nods to me.

“Don’t worry hyung.” He says. I let him go and shrug it off. I look to Kyungsoo’s room, Chanyeol is still in there.

Kyungsoo’s POV

I sit there in shock. Chanyeol had already pulled away, but I was still shocked. I blink a few times to make sure I was alive still. I look to the now pacing Chanyeol. He doesn’t look to me.

“Why did you do that?” I ask. Chanyeol stops pacing and looks at me.

“Sorry.” He says. I blink at him.

“Ok, but why?” I ask. He shrugs. I sigh.

“Are you ok?” He asks. I nod before I shrug.

“I don’t know. I feel better and sober.” I say. Chanyeol smiles, he looks better when he smiles, even if it’s his creeper smile. I shake my head at the thought.

“I’m sorry. For…you know.” He says. I smile to him.

“It’s fine.” I say. I don’t know if it is or not though. I guess it is.

“But stop avoiding the question, why’d you do it?” I ask.

“You should sleep.” He says, before I can say anything he’s gone. I shake my head.

After changing the door opens and Wu Fan enters. He waves at me. He walks over and sits on the bed.

“How do you feel after slapping me?” He asks. I feel my cheeks heat up.

“Sorry, it was only once.” I say. Wu Fan shakes his head.

“Try five times, in a row.” He says. I blink at him.

“Sorry.” I say. He shrugs.

“It’s fine. You’re ok now, though?” He asks. I nod to him. I was, except Chanyeol and the kiss was running through my mind.

“Hyung, what’s a reason someone would kiss you?” I ask.

“Kiss? They like you.” He says with slight amusement.

“B-but that means…” I stutter. Wu Fan stands and walks over to me. He places his hands on my shoulders and smiles.

“That means they like you.” He says before moving his hands and leaving the room. I stand there awkwardly before Jongin enters.

We go to bed after that. It plays in my head again and again. It makes no sense, none at all.

I leave the room; it’s still early in the morning. Jongin is still sleeping, most of the house is. I walk into the kitchen and blink at the figure that stands by the fridge. I smile to Jongdae as he closes the fridge. He smiles to me and bows his head politely. It’s awkward for a moment.

“Did you sleep well?” He asks, breaking the silence. I nod to him. I plainly remember slapping him last night, my cheeks heat up slightly.

“Sorry, about last night.” I say. Jongdae shakes his head.

“Don’t be, it’s fine, you were upset and drunk.” He says with a slight laugh.

“Are you hungry?” I ask. He nods just as his stomach growls. We both laugh.

“I’ll make us breakfast.” I say.

I finish cooking a simple breakfast and sit with Jongdae at the table. After a while the smell of food fills the house and the hungry wolves, or our members show their faces and sit with us. The last to arrive is Minseok. He sits next to Wu Fan and Luhan and eats. Luhan looks at him with a concerned face. Usually, Jongdae and Minseok are always together. Something must have happened, and recently because yesterday they weren’t like this. I shrug it off.

“What do you guys want to do today?” Joonmyun asks as we finish eating. No one answers and Joonmyun sighs.

“There’s the cave with pools down the other side of the beach we could go to.” Sehun says quietly. Joonmyun claps. Sehun smiles to himself. I smile at the scene and catch Chanyeol looking at me. I ignore it, kind of.

“Good plan. We’ll go soon. We’ll need food and other things.” He says. We all agree to the plan, get ready, get things ready and set off for the day.

I finish getting ready and leave my room with a bag over my shoulder. I feel like I’m at school and I’m going on a field trip. I walk over to Jongin.

“Let’s go.” He says as he takes my hand. We walk over to the others and we all leave the house together.
