“So, Minseok-ssi, what brings you to Beijing?” Lu Has asked as they both ride again.

“Family problem” Minseok raised his voice so the boy in front of him could hear.

“And how old are you?”

“22 this year”

“Really??” Lu Han now turned his head 180 degree which concerned Minseok for his own safety “Same age with me!” he squealed.

“Ehh??” Minseok’s eyes widened “I thought you’re still in highschool or something”

Lu Han laughed “Yeah, I got that a lot. And I thought you’re a minor too”

Minseok smiled at Lu Han’s comment. Although to Minseok’s dislike, once again him being worried for his own safety, they continued their conversation. But as he saw the streets weren’t so crowded and Lu Han was pretty skillful with his driving, Minseok was able to relax.

They spent the next hour looking for Minseok’s father house, after asking to a few people, the two of them stood in front of a two stories house with a wide garden in front of it.

Lu Han blew a whistle “Whew... Your dad must be rich to afford this house in Beijing”

“Yeah, I never heard from him in years though” said Minseok with a sad curve on his lips.

“Sorry” Lu Han winced as he saw Minseok’s hurt expression.

“Nah, I’m fine” the other smiled immediately “Thanks for the ride, I’d like to invite you in but I’m a guest too”

“Don’t bother, I need to get to my class now” Lu Han waved his hand “It was nice talking to you, Minseok-ssi” he hoped on his bike and put on his helmet, smiled to the shorter boy.

“Thanks a lot, Lu Han” Minseok lifted his hand awkwardly. He watched as the stranger went off and disappeared from his sight.

“, Mom never said anything about this” he hissed as he pressed the bell.

“Who is it?” A voice came from the intercom.

“Ah.. I’m Minseok, my Mom sent me here to stay with my Dad”

No answer again so he waited for a minute until the gate opened. He took a step in and about to knock on the front door when suddenly it went opened.

A blackhaired boy with a cold gaze on his eyes let the door open. They stared at each other for a second before the boy turned around and walked inside.

“Where’s Dad?” he asked.

Minseok left in confusion “Sorry, my chinese... isn’t so... good” he replied in a broken language.

Tao sighed and turned to Minseok “Dad was supposed to get you” he said again in Korean.

“Dad? You mean my Dad or...?” Minseok furrowed his eyebrows.

“Our Dad, babo”

“Who is it, Tao?” a lady’s voice heard from the spacious living room.

“Dad’s other son” the boy answered nonchalantly as he approached a beautiful lady sat on the big couch with a paper on her hand. She lowered hereyeglasses and eyed Minseok up and down.

“Minseok-ssi?” the lady asked.

“Yes, who are you?”

The lady chuckled “Your mom didn’t say anything?”

“It was kind of late notice and she only said I’m going to live with my Dad in Beijing and continued my study here” Minseok shrugged.

“I’m your Dad’s wife, Lena” the lady offered him a seat “And this our son, Zi Tao” she put her hand on the boy’s shoulder.

Minseok’s mouth waswide opened as his brain digested the information given to him.

“Son... as in...?”

“Yes, he’s your step brother”

“This...” Minseok lost his words. Everything was so absurd. From the moment he could remember, his father was never around. Minseok never asked about him because it will only saddened his mother, and little Minseok only wanted his mother’s happiness. A week ago she suddenly said she’s going to marry again and this other man’s work demanded him to travel to various countries. She was hesitated a lot and Minseok didn’t want his mother to cancel her wedding. But letting his son lived alone wasn’t an option for her so she searched for her husband and send Minseok there for him to raised.

It was a fierce argument, Minseok felt he’s not a baby anymore and he could take care of himself in Seoul. And as usual, any argument was invalid, and seing the only option was either went to China or cancelled the wedding, Minseok went with the first one.

“You seemed shock, Minseok-ssi” Lena interrupted his moment. “Tao, won’t you take your brother to his room to rest?”

The younger boy sighed and half heartedly stood up from his seat and walked to the stairs. Minseok quickly followed him and eyed his new foundly stepbrother from his back. He’s even taller than him, they both have cat eyes but Tao’s were a lot sharper, he’s wearing a sleeveless shirt and Minseok could see how built Tao’s arms were.

“How old are you?” asked Minseok curious.

“19”

“You knew about me?”

“From last night”

It was obvious the other one had no intention to chat as he hurried his steps passed a few doors and pointed the one on the corner of the hall.

“That’s your room, this is mine” he pointed to the one beside him “Bathroom is right across your room and... is there something on my face?” he asked.

“...No” Minseok was surprised as he realized he was staring at the younger. He was three years older but the intimidating aura from Tao scared him already.

The next thing he knew, the boy was already disappeared into his room with a slam on the door.

Guess I’m not the only one who shocked, thought Minseok inside. He went to his room and found it already decorated with two boxes with his personal stuff inside shipped from Korea. He threw his bag on his bed, poking a figurine on the desk he noticed college application he ad to fill in. He put back the papers and went to the window, after checking his surrounding and thoughts about screamingto his mother about how she never told him anything, he hoped on to bed and drifted to sleep.

It looked like Luhan is going to kiss Xiumin >...<
