“Can you hear me??”

Minseok blinked his eyes. He was laying and someone was above him, blocking the radiating sun.

“Hey, say something”

The shadow person said again, not that he could understand him. What happened five minutes earlier went back to Minseok’s mind. He was struggling with his map and dictionary, trying to find a way to his father’s house when he decided to take a step forward and a loud horn surprised him. He glanced to his side and saw a motorcycle lost control, the next thing he knew he was laying on the road.

He tried to sat up and rubbed his sore head. “Aish...” He grunted

“You’re Korean?” the stranger asked again, somehow with excitement on his voice.

Minseok stared at the person. “You understand Korean?” he asked. The boy who was talking with him was smiling, he nodded eagerly and offered him a hand.

“De, I studied in Korea for a year before” he answered as they both stand up and he gathered Minseok’s belongings.

“Thank you, lord” Minseok sighed in relief. He just set foot in Beijing for two hours, not knowing the language or the words. His father was supposed to get him at the airport, and by the time the next flight from Korea arrive, he decided that his father has already forget his promise and tried to find his own way.

“Are you looking for some place?” the boy gave him back his bagpack and map.

“Yes, I was trying to get to Kowloon Street, could you tell me how to get there?” Minseok pulled outthe address on his pocket.

“I could get you there, I owe you anyway” the boy shrugged and walked over to his antique motorcycle.

Minseok smiled and tailed the boy. “Thanks, sorry for troubling you” he took the helmet that was handed to him and sat behind.

The ride went on smoothly, it was summer and Beijing was burning hot. They weren’t in hurry and Minseok could enjoy the city’s view and the people’s hassle.

They were stopping on a red light when the boy turned his head “Are you hungry?”

Minseok was taken aback “Ho... How did you know?”

“Because I could hear your stomach growling from here” he chuckled.

“Sorry, I didn’t eat anything since leaving Incheon”

The light went green and he started his motorcycle again, just a few meters he stopped and parked at the side of the road.

“We’re there, yet?” asked Minseok taking off his helmet.

“Not yet, but I still have time until my next class. I’ll treat you something” he casually said and walked to a bun stall near by.

“Whoa, this smells good” Minseok said excitedly.

“Two meat buns and teas, please” the boy said to the lady and handed her money. “Here you go” he offered Minseok and sat on his bike.

“This is dewisious...” Minseok mumbled as he took a big bite.

The brown hair boy chuckled and gave Minseok a drink as he choked on his bun. “Slow down, getting caught beside a dead body won’t do wellon my resume” he patted Minseok’s back.

“Ugh... thanks” Minseok took a sip. They continued eating in silence, the boy sat on his bike, munching and watching the busy people passed by while Minseok who already finished his meal took a glance at his savior.

Noticed that he was being stared at, the boy turned to him “Finished?” he asked.

“Yes” Minseok stood up and rubbed his hand “I’m sorry I forget to introduce myself. I’m Minseok” he grinned and offered him his hand.

The boy stared blankly for a second before finally reached Minseok’s hand “My name is Lu Han”
