Kris’ POV:

Seriously… this is not helping at all.

I walked around the park for meditation but instead of relaxing my mind, memories only filled it.

*I need to persuade her to come with her dad.*, I thought.

I sat on the swing and tried to sort things out when I heard a moan.

“Mmmm~”

My eyes widened like Kyungsoo’s. I looked back I can’t see anything. “Eeeyyyy~”, this time, the tone is a little pissed-like.

“Aissssshhh…”, there it goes again.

I tried to search for it and my eyes darted at a moving object in a kid’s playhouse.

With all my might, I bravely walked towards it…

Narrator’s POV:

There were many mosquitoes that are bugging you in your sleep. Half-asleep, you shooed them away but they won’t go away.

You had no choice but to evacuate and get out from the playhouse.

You crawled your way out like a ghost. Like those in horror movies. Your long hair covered your face in a scary way.

Kris stepped back and was about to run away out of spookiness but he was stopped when you lifted your chin up and showed your face.

You saw his figure but it was abit blurry because you just woke up. You narrowed your eyes and revealed more of your swollen and red eyes which made you more scary.

“Sh-Shen?!”, Kris was surprised at your sudden appearance.

“Who are you? Your voice… Kris?”, you spoke up with your husky voice.

“So it’s you huh~”, he simply sat back on the swing.

You stood up infront of him and slapped him. “What do you think you’re doing?”, he looked at you with piercing eyes which sent shivers down your spine.

“See? You don’t know what that slap is for… you’re so numb… or are you pretending to not know? YOU’RE THE MOST BIPOLAR HUMAN I’VE EVER MET! no… you’re not even a human to begin with… You’re an ANIMAL! How dare you point at me and say that I poisoned your friend?!!! I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG TO YOU!”, you exploded.

“Are you sure you didn’t poisoned my friend? For all I know is you’re a witch in disguise… stop pretending…”, he stood up which made you stare up at his tallness.

“What.are… you… talking… abou-“

“I don’t wanna hear any of your lies anymore. By the way, You are now free to leave my house.”

“WH-What?!”, You felt your heart being stoned to death.

“Come with your dad. I will contact him and tell him to pick you up. Stop being a rebel and just come with him. I don’t want to see you in my house nor sleeping in that playhouse anymore. I can’t believe that a person like you fooled me…”, he left without hearing your side.

And there you are. Left alone again… Trashed…

"My dad?..."

The chill the winds left on your skin made no good in your feelings right now.

The darkness of the night made no good on you too. You felt that you’re being swollen whole into the dark side of you.

The rustling of the trees made the atmosphere more sad.

Your knees felt numb and fell on a rough surface.

Your heart was broken BUT NOW… it is all fixed.

The difference from before was…

it doesn’t beat the same way before.

It’s now wrapped in ICE. You can’t feel pain anymore. Ice… cold… colder than before…

You know in yourself that you’ve done nothing wrong…

You grew tired from explaining that you didn’t do anything that would harm anyone.

*I don’t know what the hell you were talking about… but… THANKS TO YOU… you just made me more stronger… and you made me realize that YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO doesn’t understand what I’m feeling…*

“I shouldn’t have trusted you… I shouldn’t have met you at all…”
