The next day, I woke up and found myself floating on water… not really… I was lying on a bed… a veeerrryyy soft bed. I can feel my body as relaxed as ever. I sat up straight then an unbearable pain struck my head. “Ahhh!”, I squeezed my head with my hands. It really hurts!

 

 

 

After a few minutes, I learned how to endure the pain and managed to open my eyes widely.

 

 

 

Okay…

 

 

 

What the?! Where am I?!

 

 

 

I scanned the surroundings and tried my best to connect things together. But, I can’t remember anything! I’m so done!

 

 

 

*Crap. I gotta get my out of here…*, I thought.

 

 

 

Immediately, I ran for my life to the exit. I turned my head back to the hotel building. “Ommo… such an expensive place… but… how did I get in there? I went there? Ah! Where’s Kris?! we were eating at the park yesterday. mmm~ maybe he went home ahead? but why am I here? Ahhh!!!”, I clutched my head again, the pain won’t go away!

 

 

 

But what is different is, I can also feel an internal pain in my chest.

 

 

 

Why am i feeling like this? My chest hurts more than my head...

Kris' POV:

 

 

 

 

I freed her. Because I don’t deserve her precious trust.

 

 

 

I don’t know why she’s very cold to people. But one thing is sure. If she values a person and gives her whole trust to him, that person must value her too… because she’s so fragile…

 

 

 

So I let her go… because I’m not worth it for her trust.

 

I did nothing right for her. Might as well reject it as early as possible.

“Duizzhang! What’s wrong? Get up, we’re now boarding.”, Chen poked my arms.

 

 

 

“You alright? I’m talking to you for an hour and you’re just replying ‘yes’ to all of my questions.”, Xiu Min wore his sunglasses.

 

 

 

“The fans are looking at you with concern! Gege, what exactly is your relationship with that girl last night?”, Tao crossed his arms.

 

 

 

I searched for our fans’ faces who looks worried. *I didn’t mean to…*. In exchange, I smiled back at them and posed for pics.

 

 

 

 

“Duizzhang. You’re so suspicious… She looks low-class. I know you’re taste duizzhang.”, Luhan proceeded to reading his book about ‘PLEASURES in life for men…’ I don’t know what that is, I don’t care.

 

 

 

“She’s my maid. Personal maid. Something happened but it won’t happen anymore. I already fired her from her job.”

 

 

 

She's free.

 

 

 

“You sure? Ehem… A maid… Oh right… Chen hyung, what do you think? When a guy even paid for an expensive hotel room for his maid, is it just a maid?”, Lay elbowed Chen.

 

 

 

“Psh. That person must’ve just brought his maid home or wherever she lives. Right?”, Chen answered and everybody nodded.

 

 

 

My house is her only home... where else do i have to bring her? She can't also stay home because we're done.

 

 

 

“Yah! I told you, she’s just a maid.”, I glared at Lay and Chen.

 

 

 

 

“Duijjang… Wae you so defensive? We’re not talking about you.”, Chen smiled innocently.

 

 

 

 

“Hyung is right. You told us that she’s just a maid. You’re affected which means there’s something fishy. Ahh. Tsk tsk tsk.”, Lay clucked his tongue. Everybody laughed. *Why do i have to go through this?*

 

 

 

 

“Gege must not react. Unless, she is something else other than a maid.”, Tao batted his eyelashes.

 

 

 

“Eeewww…”, Luhan closed his book. “Panda, you must improve your aegyo.”

 

 

 

 

“ENOUGH! I’m guilty! Okay? Happy? She really is something…”, I held my hands up in defeat.

 

 

 

“Oh Yeah!~”, they high-fived each other.

 

 

 

“So when did you become a couple formally?”

 

“How did you met each other?! Gege… you betrayed me!”

 

“Ah Tao… enough with the aegyo. Duijjang, when did your standards dropped?”

 

“I thought she’s your personal maid?”

 

“If you don’t like her anymore, may I have her?”

 

“How did you both ended up like that last night?”

 

 

 

 

 

“AHHH! stop showering me with questions!”, I flailed my arms and legs in a bragging way.

 

 

 

“First, we’re not a couple. I just like her and I don’t know if she feels the same.”, everybody nodded.

 

 

 

“Second!”, I shouted and made a v-sign which made them flinch a bit.

 

 

 

“It’s a looong love story…”, everybody laughed.

 

 

 

“Love story? HAHAHA! when did you started using such terms hyung?”, everybody laughed nonstop.

 

 

 

I simply shrugged, “ …and I didn’t betray you Tao…”, I shot him a look. He pouted.

 

 

 

“Third, Luhan… she’s not just a girl, she’s a woman… and she’s different from anybody. I don’t know… She’s not my type yet she caught my attention.”, I shrugged.

 

 

 

“Hmp, if she caught your senses, then she’s really something amazing.”, Luhan nodded with a serious face on.

 

 

 

 

“You’re right. And last but not the least!!! NO Baozi! I will never let her fall on your dirty hands. You will never have her. I know what’s lying beneath your Bun cheeks… Your erted plans…”, I eyed Xiu Min. He looked away while putting his hands in his pocket and just whistled.

 

 

 

“Okay boys, enough with the chatting. Here are your tickets we better get going.”, our manager handed us our tickets and we made it to the plane.

Meanwhile… BACK AT THE HOTEL…

 

Kris left a note saying…

 

 

 

“I’m sorry for everything… I’m setting you free… Here is an address of an apartment I know where you and Lin can move in. __________________. I’m really sorry if I did those things to you. I’m going back to Korea for 5 days. I hope that when I came back, everything is back to normal. You don’t know me and I don’t know you. I didn’t want those things to happen to you really. And I’m saying this sincerely because I care for you… because… you’re the most important among the most important people to me… because I love you…”

 

“Let’s end our contract here. I give you your freedom.”

But since you left in a hurry, you didn’t notice the note and didn’t get the chance to read it.

 

 

You left and went back home without knowing what happened last night.
