Point of View : Hoya

I placed my head on my desks. The teacher was talking about some city in some country. I had no interest. Suddenly I got a text. 

Hyomin : Yah~

Me : Hiccup!

Hyomin : I'm sorry about just now. T_T

Me : Yeah, you should be. 

Hyomin : You too!! 

Me : Why?!

Hyomin : Because you ignored me!

Hyomin : Hoya?

Hyomin : You there?

Hyomin : YAH!!

Me : Keke..

Hyomin : Don't do that. 

Me : Fine, I'm sorry too.

Hyomin : We cool rite? I have sumting for you later.

Me : My pressie?

Hyomin : Yup! Wait for me at lunch. 

Me : I will! ^^

I waited for Hyomin outside her class. I was eager to see what she got me this time. She got me a watch last year and a scarf the year before. I didn't like either of it but I still want to know what she got me this year. Fingers crossed, here she comes. 

Me : HYOMIN AH~!

Hyomin : (she covered my mouth) Geez, why are you shouting?

Me : (I pulled her hands away) What did you get me? 

Hyomin : Let's grab lunch, I'll give it to you then. (she pushed me to walk) Come on! 

Me : My gift?

Hyomin : I'll take it from my locker. Why don't you go save a table for us?

Me : (nodding) Okay!

I ran off to the canteen saving a spot at the end. I excitedly waited for the arrival of my best friend. Suddenly, a girl came close. I recognize the blonde, curvy lady. Its Hyoyeon. Oh! How she stands out from the others. 

Hyoyeon : Hey.

Me : ("Wow, her voice is so husky" I thought) Hey.

Hyoyeon : Is the birthday boy alone?

Me : (I accidentally nodded) Uh, wait! No. (I laughed) No.. I'm waiting for Hyomin. 

Hyoyeon : Oh, right. Your girlfriend. 

Me : (I nodded, again) What? No!

Hyoyeon : No?

Me : Nope.

Hyoyeon : Well, you could have fool me. 

Me : Huh, trust me. You're not the first. ("Wait why did I say that?")

Hyoyeon : I see. (I put on a smile, a forced one) Then you should date. 

Me : I should. 

Suddenly, Hyomin came, carrying a huge brown bag. 

Hyoyeon : Look who's here. (she smiled)

Hyomin : You can say that again.

Hyoyeon : (she turned to look at me) There's a party at my place later. Its Friday night and my parents aren't home. You should come, Hoya. 

Me : Sure. Sounds fun. (I looked at Hyomin who was obviously frowning in disapproval at me)

Hyoyeon : You too, Kyoming.

I looked at Hyomin and gave her a couple of signs, hoping she would agree. She smiled and nodded. 

Hyoyeon : Great, I'll see you then.

Hoya : Yeah ~

Hyoyeon winked at me and left. Hyomin looked slightly uncomfortable. 

Me : So..... What's in there?

Hyomin : Hm? Oh, yeah. Surprise! Your birthday present. 

Me : Gimme, gimme!

She placed the bag on the table and I grabbed it. She smiled as I was going through the bag.

Me : Wow, cake! (I took out a small cupcake from the bag) Ooo... specially packed lunch. As always. 

Hyomin : (Giggled) Dig deeper. 

Me : Okay. Hmm.....what is.. (I took out a box) this?

Hyomin : Open it. 

The bell rang. Time to go back to class. 

Hyomin : Oh no. 

Me : Don't worry. I'll open it later. 

Hyomin : Okay. Well, I have history. If I'm late, Ms Kim will throw a fit. (she came close and gave me a hug) 

Me : Thanks Hyomin. (I held her tight)

Hyomin : Happy birthday. 

She fixed her hair and left.
