Hyomin : I can't believe we're doing this. 

Me : Relax, Hiccup. I know how to drive. 

Hyomin : What if you get drunk? How are we gonna get home?

Me : I won't.. I don't drink.

Hyomin : Yes you do. 

Me : But I won't. 

Hyomin : You better not. (she took a deep breath and exhaled with a grunt) Let's do this then!

Me : YES! Let's go~

I started the engine and drove to the party. i think it was about 15 from my house. not that far. We talked on the way.

Hyomin : what was the sensational you wanted to tell me?

Me : Hm? (i tried to remember) oh, yeah. Woohyun told me that Hyoyeon likes me.

Hyomin : you knew that already.

Me : I know but, damn it feels good that some people actually know about it.

She was silent for a while. Then,

Hyomin : I bumped into Joon during gym.

Me : Who? (i turned to catch a glimpse of her)

Hyomin : Joon. (she paused as if she wanted me to know him) The senior who is so handsome beyond belief. He even my hair and called me cute.

Me : Well.....

Hyomin : I hope he comes to the party.

Me : If he does, you should talk to him.(I smiled at her to show that I supported her)

Hyomin : (sigh) yeah, maybe.

Me : (i acted cute) You can do it, Hyominnie~~

Hyomin : (she looked at me for a long second and then burst out laughing) Oh. My. God! Hoya, what the hell was that?! (she continued laughing for a minute or two)

Me : (I was quite embarrassed about it) okay, okay. That's enough.

Hyomin : No, Hoya. (still laughing) You should have seen your face!

I was relieved that she was actually laughing. She looked a little bit down lately, and I didn't like it. The fact that she could smile at me and laugh at my jokes.was a huge relief. She looked like the girl I knew before. My best friend. I patted Hyomin's head who was still laughing, apparently.
