Wishing Upon A Star...
You stuffed in the last bit of clothes in your luggage. Thankfully, your parents let you go on this trip, thinking that it will give you a good experience of what it is like in your ancestors’ country. You carefully zipped up the luggage and brought it downstairs. Gripping the shiny banister, you struggled to carry the luggage, but managed to not let it fall down the stairs. You hopped into the car with your parents and younger sisters, and kissed them all good-bye when you went inside the automatic doors.
Checking in your luggage was the easy part. Having to wait in line for security check took forever, and then you had to wait at least half an hour more to board the plane. Arranging yourself comfortably in your seat, you tilted your head back and quickly fell asleep to the gentle hum of the airplane engine.
The slight turbulence of the plane shook you awake. A soft ding sounded as the head pilot spoke into the intercom. “Mianhae. I apologize about the slight turbulence we are experiencing. Please buckle your seat belts if you had not already done so. We will arrive in South Korea in about 6 more hours. Sit tight, and enjoy the rest of the plane ride.” Since you c
