The man behind the counter trembled as he stuffed the bag with stacks of cash from the register, fearing for his life as beads of sweat dripped from his face. The thief pointed his gun at the man until the bag was full. 

     “Thanks,” the man in disguise said before running out the door. Jinyoung recognized that voice. The mysterious person with type B blood was obviously Baro. 

     Jinyoung came out of his hiding place and said to the cashier, “Don’t worry. I’ll get him.” He darted out, poking his head back in to say, “You won’t need to call the police.”

     Catching up effortlessly with the masked man, Jinyoung tackled him to the cement before he reached his rusted sports car. Jinyoung yanked off his black ski mask to reveal that it was, in fact, Baro. 

     “Ow! Hyung? W-What are you doing here?” Baro stuttered. 

     Jinyoung’s mouth started to water. Type B happened to be his favorite flavor, and he had to fight the urge of biting into his band mate’s neck. “I should be asking you that. And what are you doing with the sack?”

     “Okay, okay, you got me,” Baro admitted, still pinned down. “I haven’t made any money since the band broke up. I need to make a living somehow.”

     Sighing, Jinyoung stood and helped him up, but took Baro’s gun to put in his own pocket. “I’ll take this and dispose of it.”

     “But that cost me… Oh, never mind!” Baro groaned. 

     “You want a job to keep yourself busy?” Jinyoung asked, wanting to leave. His thirst for blood was only increasing. He tossed Baro the pack of bandages before walking away. “Make sure Sandeul doesn’t get in trouble. He should be behind the store. He couldn’t have gone too far with that limp of his.”

     “What?” Baro blinked, not believing his ears. “I thought… he passed away in a car accident last week.”

     Already in the distance, Jinyoung shrugged, and ran off. 

     With the bandages in his hand, Baro glanced behind the building, not knowing what to expect. What on earth was Jinyoung talking about? he thought once he saw the coast was clear. He must be losing his mind… He did look pretty sick. Maybe that has to do with all this.

     A long groan came from behind the tree near the store, and some movement could be seen in the dim, early morning light. “Sandeul?...” Baro was almost too afraid to know who was really there as he inched closer. “Sandeul, is that you?”

     “Buh… Baaaah…” A grayish, sluggish person with outstretched arms came out from the shadows. “Roh…”

     “S-Sandeul?” Baro squeaked, nervously. “I-uh... thought you were dead.”

     “Baa… Ro…” Sandeul said clearer, reaching his friend, probably to give Baro a hug. 

     Baro didn’t want to take that chance, taking steps backward until his back was against his car. He reached for the car handle, dropping the bandages as he opened the door and slipped in, leaving the terrifying zombie outside. 

     “Ba?...” Sandeul stared through the window, as if expecting Baro to open the door for him. 

     Police sirens in the distance could be heard. Baro slammed his forehead on the top of the steering wheel. “Great…” Starting up the engine, Baro was ready to back out of the store’s parking lot, but he first looked out his side window, seeing Sandeul still there. 

     Sandeul put his limp hand against the window and frowned. “Ba…”

     Baro’s heart was already beating fast enough with all the adrenaline, but having a zombie pawing at his car was the tipping point. He shifted the gears to reverse, and left Sandeul alone with his arm still outstretched.
