The car suddenly stopped. She thought that they were already inside the compound so she unlocked the door. She realized that they weren’t still on the inside. Instead, they nearly ran over a girl with a bob cut. She’s either one of my cousins or a visitor. Should I say hi to her? Maybe I should. First impressions matter after all. Before she could say hi, the girl ran away in their direction. Yeri got back in the car and asked BI about that girl.

“Oh that girl? She’s one of your cousins. Jang Yeeun.”

Jang Yeeun. Yeri recognizes this name written in the notes. It’s kinda memorable to her since only quite a few pieces of information were written about her. It’s only her name and her birthday. Other infos of her other cousins include their hobbies, their personality types, and some fun facts about them. It’s like a kpop profile with the other cousins are like the members of a popular group, while Yeeun is like from a nugu group.

The navy car entered the compound. Luxurious houses surround Yeri’s view. She didn’t think that they would be this rich. She counted the houses. There were approximately 20 of them. So each family member got a house. Freaking rich! And here I am, thinking that I’m one of those lucky family members who got their own house. 

The car stopped in the mini park at the centre of the compound. She was busy looking at the houses so she didn’t notice. She went back to reality when his brother knocked at the car’s window. She jerked. She looks around outside first. She saw her parents and some of her cousins. Oh I thought I got around fifteen of them? Maybe the others are busy. 

As soon as she got out of the car, she took a 90-degree bow.

“Annyeonghaseyo.”

 Must make a good impression.

“You don’t need to bow like that. We’re all at the same level here. Well, except for our parents.” Junmyeon said with a smile.

“Oh? Okay.”

“Why don’t you introduce yourself to your cousins?” her father asked

“Hi! My name’s Yeri, nice to meet you all.” She said as she bowed again, but this time it’s a casual one.

“Hi Yeri! I’m Kim Dahyun! Dahyun for short!” The girl with a monolid and wavy hair said.

Oh she’s the bubbly one. And also the one with crazy antics.

“Hello Dahyun! Nice to meet you.” She then did a casual bow at her.

 A boy whose face reminded Yeri of Mark Zuckerberg spoke next.

“Hey my name’s Mark.” He said his name with an American accent

Oh what a coincidence. He looks like that facebook guy, and got the same name as him. He also speaks like him. If I remember correctly, he’s the one who studied in Canada.

“Hi Mark! Nice to meet you.” She bowed again.

Should I respond to them with the same words over and over again? Need to think new ones as soon as possible.

“Lee Hayi.” The girl with long black hair suddenly spoke which made Yeri jerk a bit.

If I remember correctly, she is Mark’s older sister.I should say her full name since she didn’t ask me to call her given name.

“Nice to meet you Lee Hayi.” 

Lee Hayi then turned and walked away. This made Yeri think if she offended her. 

“Don’t worry. She’s working on her new project so she needs to hurry. “ Dahyun said.

“Right. She’s the one who created BI.” Yeri replied.

She looked around when she mentioned BI, but he wasn't there already. Maybe he delivered my things to my house already.

“Do you want to go to your house now?” Her mother asked.

Yeri nodded.

As they started walking, they heard the sound of a car’s engine.

“Hey look! Eunbi is here!” Dahyun suddenly shouted.

Oh, another one of my cousins is here. If I remember correctly, she’s the quiet one. Yeri turned around to look at the car. It was a cute pink car with a picture of a character from My Little Pony called Fluttershy. Maybe we can get along since I like the show as well.

Eunbi stepped out of the car to greet her cousins. She was quite shocked to see that Yeri was there so she lowered her head a bit.

“Oh, Yeri’s here. Hi I’m Hwang Eunbi or Eunbi for short.” She said in a soft voice.

“Nice to meet you Eunbi.”

“Shall we go to your house now?” Her mother asked.

Yeri nodded and they all went to her house.

Her house was somewhere right in the far left of the compound. There was actually a system in the arrangement of houses in the compound. Those at the center were for the adults, while those at the edges were for the young ones. The young ones include everyone above the age of 20 which means that all of her cousins, except Mark, got their own house. 

“Here’s your house darling. Go inside and rest for a while since tomorrow you will be touring the whole Isles and also you need to have an appearance at the Governor’s office tomorrow.” Her father said.

“Thanks, Dad.” She’s still felt weird for saying it

“You’re welcome Dear. Okay your mother and I need to go back to work right now. BI and your cousins will be there if you need anything. Your brother will be going somewhere so take care.”

“Bye”

Yeri entered her house, and she feels somewhat weird. She got this feeling that she saw it somewhere. Right, I was the one who designed this house. Yeri is finally living in her dream house.

It was the seventh time that her adoptive family visited her house, but it’s only her brother this time because their parents were busy. Each of their visits was to discuss something in preparation for Yeri’s transfer. This time they wanted to ask Yeri what her house would look like.

“Oh, I can’t decide yet since I haven’t seen the area and I don’t know the dimensions yet.”

“Do you want to hire an architect or an interior designer?” Her brother asked.

“Thank you, but I can do this in probably a week if I have the view of the area and it’s dimensions.”

“Okay, I’ll send it later.”

A week passed and Junmyeon visited her again. He was in complete shock when he saw the house plan that Yeri made.

“Wow! This is very detailed! Are you sure you’re not an architect?”

“I’m still a high school student so it’s a no.”

“The features are very detailed. Also I love how you specified each furniture inside the house with a specific brand and model.”

“Thank you.”

She saw BI unloading her things from her car. She decided to help him carry it to her room. Mark was forced by Dahyun to help carry Yeri’s things since he’s the only eligible guy to carry it. Even though she was carrying a lot of things, she hurriedly went into her room because of excitement. She can’t believe that she is going to sleep in her dream room. Around three hours ago, I still had to share a room with my brother, now I have my own house. I can’t believe it. BI and Mark then entered her room carrying her things. 

“Wow, your room looks awesome.” Mark said.

“Where should we put your things?” BI asked.

 “Right over there.” She pointed at a spot near the dresser which made her things fall.

. I forgot I’m still carrying these things. 

“Oh I’m so sorry.” She said as she starts up her things.

BI helped her, but Mark didn’t. Suddenly, Mark felt a slight smack on his head.

“Oww! What was that for?”

“Go help them.” It was Dahyun who smacked him.

“Why didn’t you help them first?”

“Well I arrived quite late since I had some things to talk with Eunbi.”

“You’re late as always. Why don’t you start helping them?”

But it was too late. Yeri and BI had already finished picking up the things and even put it right near the dresser. She noticed that two were having an argument. She waited for BI to stop them, but she realized that BI doesn’t have the authority to stop them.

“Don’t worry we’re already finished.”

Dahyun and Mark felt quite embarrassed. Dahyun let out a sheepish smile while Mark was rubbing the back of his neck. Cute.

“Okay see you tomorrow.” Mark said then he left.

“Bye Yeri. Oh by the way the other girls are probably returning this afternoon.” Dahyun said.

Other girls? Were they the ones who I haven’t met yet?

“Yes, you haven’t met them yet so rest for a while since it’s still noon.”

How does she know what I’m thinking? Is she a psychic?

“Nope, I’m not a psychic. I’m just good at guessing. Anyways, bye.” Dahyun waved her hands and went downstairs.

“Is there something you need?” BI asked.

“Something to eat I guess?”

“There’s already food at the dinner table. The other butlers probably prepared it while I’m gone. And also I need to go to Hayi for some minor repairs. Are you fine eating alone?”

“I guess I’ll be fine.”

“I almost forgot, If you don’t want to wash the dishes, just leave it in the sink. I’ll wash it when I come back, probably in an hour.”

“Okay.”

She’s living in her dream house, but she is alone. She silently ate then washed the dishes afterwards. She’s used to washing the dishes since it was her main chore back in her old house. 

So this is my new life huh? I’ll probably get used to eating alone. Wait, I just remembered. BI called Lee Hayi as Hayi a while ago. Should I ship them? Oh wait, BI is an android. How did I forget? Probably because he looks and behaves like a real person. Maybe he is a real person after all? I should ask him later when he comes back. Nevermind. I’ll look like a joke. But he’s a robot so I’m sure he doesn’t mind. I’ll just explore the house first.

Well she did explore the house, but after that she dozed off in her bed. She was awakened by a loud knock in her door.

“Miss Yeri, are you there? Your cousins are looking for you.”

Oh, I slept. I forgot that I will be introduced to my other cousins.

“Coming.”

She hurriedly looks at herself in the mirror, and fix her hair. Should I change my clothes? I guess this is only a waste of time. Plus, I’m still wearing my clothes earlier so I guess this is okay.” She opened the door and saw BI. Maybe I’ll ask him later about his existence.

“They’re downstairs.”

“Okay”

She went downstairs and she saw two new girls and a boy sitting at the sofa. Mark saw her and waved at her.”

“Oh, there she is.” 

Yeri greeted them casually and her cousins greeted her back. A girl with blonde hair greeted her first.

The girl with an “elite Asian student who studies abroad” looks spoke next

“Yeri right? My name’s Jennie. Kim Jennie. I don’t have a Korean name.”

Wow, her aura is very sophisticated. I should say something to match her aura.

“It’s a pleasure meeting you Jennie.”

“Hi Yeri! I’m Jung Wooseok, but just call me Wooseok.” He spoke with a deep voice which shocked Yeri a bit, but it is not the only trait which shocked her.

Wow! He’s so tall! I look like a complete midget standing next to him. 

“Nice meeting you Wooseok.”

I already met 7 out of I don’t know how many of them. Might recite their names later on to help me memorize them faster.

“Oh right. We’re going to Area 1’s Plaza later on. Do you wanna come with us?” Mark suddenly asked
