“Meeting adjourned.” Taeyeon told them.

All of them proceeded to head out to the library. Some had plans of hanging around like Sooyoung and Seulgi. Others decided to stay at home like Joohyun and Yeri. And the last one has no decision of her own. Seungwan is supposed to be at her house today yet she went to the meeting. Now, she must plan how to enter her house without someone noticing. It is indeed an unfortunate life.

“Joohyun unnie and Yeri don’t forget to tell us your story next.” Sooyoung reminded them.

“Of course I will forget it.” Joohyun snaps back.

Each of them got back to their cars, except Yeri since she went there with Joohyun. Seungwan got a car, but she didn’t use it this time. Instead, she asked her close friend, Jung Hoseok, to help her sneak out of her house. 

Earlier, Hoseok went to Sungwan’s house to help her snuck out. He has been allowed to visit her since he was friends with Yoongi. For some reasons, the two of them fought and are currently in a bad relationship. This caused Hoseok to be closer with Seungwan than with Yoongi. Close enough that Seungwan trusts him with this plan. 

It is always been a daily routine for Yoongi to be there at Seungwan’s house. Again, this is part of the possible arranged marriage. This is done in order to prove that Yoongi is a trustworthy man by making him as Seungwan’s bodyguard. Hoseok knew of this and took advantage of this fact.

“No, her majesty isn’t allowed to leave her house without me.” Yoongi said.

“Aww come on, you don’t trust me at all?” Hoseok playfully asked.

The two of them are on bad terms, yet the way of Hoseok’s speaking made it seem like they are having a casual chat with each other.

“I don’t. You are from the Jung family. I don’t trust you at all.”

“Let's just keep our family aside shall we? How about this, imagine that we are from other families, would you trust me with Seungwan?”

“Still no, it is my job to stay with her throughout my whole life.”

“That’s if you got married. How about she decided to marry another man?”

“First of all, she isn’t allowed. Second, I may call someone to make you get the hell out of here.”

“I guess you are leaving me with no choice. Do you remember that I have evidences on what your family did? Maybe it is time to let the world know.”

“How dare you!” Yoongi clenched his fist preparing to punch Hoseok, but the latter ran away.

Hoseok ran as fast as he could to his car. He started the engine and made his exit from the Son’s palace. Little did Yoongi know that Seungwan already escaped using Hoseok’s car by getting in the car while the two of them had a not so friendly discussion. Seungwan left a voice recorder in her room that will be activated if someone knocks at her room. This may keep Yoongi from knowing that she escaped.

That was for the escape. Now they have to think of ways on how to enter the house without alerting Yoongi. It is already noon and it is time to have a family lunch at the gazebo in the garden. At this time, Yoongi might be knocking at her room. The friends need to find a way to enter the room without someone noticing. Actually, no. They don’t need it at all. This is not the first escape that Seungwan did. Being a princess didn’t save her from being rebellious. She escaped a couple of times in the past to hang out with Seulgi and Hoseok. The problem is, she needs to change her escape ways everytime so that she won’t be caught easily by using the same tactics over and over again, which makes the trick she and Hoseok used earlier worthless. 

The palace of the royal family is located on a huge island. It is accessible to the boats, although the living quarter is located on the high part of the island which is quite hard to climb. The only good part when breaking into the palace is, there are no human guards, only robots. The two of them decided that the car shouldn’t enter again since that would raise suspicions. 

To enter the house, Hoseok used his skills in coding and programming to hack these robots. In this way, Seungwan can peacefully enter the palace simply by walking in. Before entering, she changed her clothes from the casual ones into the formal ones since they are going to have a family lunch. In this way, no one from her family who might have seen her suspected that she went outside. She walked straight to the living quarters, specifically near her room. Luckily, Yoongi is inside the house this time so he didn’t see her walking around. Her room is located on the third floor. Since there is no useful equipment nearby, she decided to climb on it. Her years of escaping experience made it easy for her to climb. There was someone in her room. It was her sister, Chaeyoung.

“I knew you sneaked out again.” Chaeyoung remarked.

“Of course you would. And why are you here in my room.” Seungwan asked.

‘Oh nothing, I thought it would be nice to surprise you upon returning. Don’t worry, Yoongi oppa didn’t notice that I entered the room.”

“I hope you won’t snitch on me.”

“I won’t, in fact the sensor for the door was broken. I even manually played the recording for you whenever Yoongi oppa does the hourly check. Now, let us go and have lunch. We better not be late cause our year level enrollment is scheduled at 1:30 PM. It is already past twelve.”

“Right, I almost forgot that enrolment day was today.”

The siblings head together for lunch.

Back at Yeri’s place, she has been preparing to go to school after she finished her lunch. She is gonna go with her other cousins this time since they are in the same year level. Again, they are gonna use that van and Eunbi is still the one who will drive. They all proceed to their previous seats, but this time Wooseok gets to sit in the front seat since Jennie’s enrollment period is still an hour after this. 

The university is set on an island in the middle of the main isle and the island for the other districts. It is divided into three sections: elementary and preparatory, high school, and college. Each of these had their own mini city inside it. There are shops for various things and also restaurants. The best part of this is the beach because of its view and because students can swim after class. 

When they arrived at the school they separated since they belonged to different departments. Mark is the only one who is in the same department as Yeri so the two of them went together. This caused the other students to stare at them. They are all just gossiping with each other and they didn’t even bother to ask why Mark has a girl with them. Well, except for one girl.

“Hey Mark, who are you dating this time?” The girl asked.

“Huh? What are you talking about?” Mark asked her back.

“She looks new, I’m assuming that she is either from a family who just entered here or she’s gone for a long time and just got back.”

“It is the latter actually. She’s my cousin.”

“Oh I see. Well nice to meet you. “The girl turned to Yeri and offered a handshake.

”I’m Kang Mina. Obviously we are at the same age. I’m from Engineering by the way.”

From what I remembered, she’s the only one who didn’t introduce herself with her family rank.

“Hi, I’m Kim Yerim or Yeri, from Social Sciences.”

“Well then, it was nice meeting you Yeri, but I need to go back for my enrolment in my own department.”

After talking to Mina, the cousins proceeded to their own department. They arrived early, so the department is not that crowded. They first set off to find their classrooms. They are already in college, but the school has a block system. One section must have the same schedule throughout the year. 

Currently, the college has around 82 sections, 21 sections per year level; since all of the courses that are taken here shrink into four years, even those courses which you need to study to be a lawyer or a doctor. This is to hasten the process in having another member of the family in the business. There are currently seven departments in this school: Technology, Biology, Engineering, Communication, Social Sciences, Management, and Natural Sciences. There are also subjects that are outside their courses which are required to take by students. These are: Physical Education, Music, Art, Home Technology, Language, and of course, Math. This may change depending on university officials.

They are both in the same section; this is because of the caste system. The system in the school is quite similar to the systems in which the families are organized. For the first section, this includes students with the family rank of 1 to 30. The second section includes 31 to 60. The last section has students from the family with the rank of 61 to 100. As a result, most of the elite students are crammed together in a single section. This caused rivalry like the one Yeri and Mark are currently seeing.

“Oh shut up, ask that robot and it will tell you that I arrived here first.” The girl on the left remarked.

“No, you must clearly need to check the camera. This will prove that I arrived here first, and I will be processed for enrolment first.” The girl on the right snapped back calmly.

Strangely enough, only the two of the bantering girls are here thus no one can prove who arrived first. The girls kept bantering for five minutes without noticing the cousins. Yeri felt familiar with the girl on the right. I think I saw her somewhere. Wait, this must be Tzuyu, Joohyun unnie’s cousin. 

She is right. The girl is Tzuyu. Their family currently ranks 2 here in Korea; however she is not a full Korean. Her father is Taiwanese who is currently a prince in Taiwan. Her father is the cousin of the current king of Taiwan, the Tuans. Her family in Taiwan ranks 1. This makes her powerful in the university. The only one who can rival her is the other girl.

“Can you please calm down, Tzuyu and Doyeon?” Mark hopelessly tries to calm the two of them; however, his voice is not loud enough to reach the both of them.

So the other girl’s name is Doyeon. Well I guess I need to avoid both of them to have a peaceful stay.

The second girl is Kim Doyeon from the other Kim family, which currently ranks 3. The rankings caused huge rivalry between the two families which resulted in the rivalry of the children. Unlike Tzuyu, she doesn’t have any family outside of Korea, but the older ones in her family are involved in the politics which makes her influential. Her cousins are also notable as well like Kim Kibum who is a governor nominee, Min Yoongi who is arranged to be ma
