“Shut your ing mouth!” Yeeun yelled.

Unfortunately, Yeri crossed the line too far just to give Yeeun the reverse card. Yeeun then stormed out of the room forgetting that it was her own house. Having nowhere to go, she sat in her own bathroom, and tried to overhear what the rest were saying.

“You crossed the line, Yeri.”

“I know. I’m also desperate.”

“Desperate for what? For Jaehyun to be proven innocent? It has been only months, yet you already fell for him. I thought you hated him?”

“I can’t answer that question right now. I guess I’ll leave. I’ll just talk to Yeeun tomorrow. I’m tired. I need to rest.”

“Wait. I need to tell you something.”

“What?”

“It’s been weeks since Jonghyun’s last email.”

“You probably received all the information.”

“I don’t think that’s the case. Knowing him, he probably leaves notes saying that this will be the last message.”

“So you’re suspecting that there are messages that are unsent?”

“Yes, I’m going to hack his email.”

“I guess that will be your problem. Alright, I'm heading out.”

It wasn’t a good night for all of them. Morning came, and they were all tired from last time, but of course they needed to get the hell out of their bed and go to school.

For the morning, Yeri stayed with Mark and the others to help oversee the school festival. Thankfully, there are no incidents that have happened since the start of the festival. Since she is in-charge of the discipline, it is her job to oversee the students for their safety. 

After spending time with her clubmates, since the student council is also considered as a club, she went to Ilhoon. This is to make sure that she did things right. Fortunately, things seemed to be right. I’m amazed that students here are disciplined. I guess they are afraid of their reputation being stained. So far, there are no fights, only arguments. 

She doesn’t have anything to do after that. Her work is easy since the students are disciplined. She decided to slack off. The problem is, she doesn't know who she will be with to see the other events. As if the Goddess of Luck was at her side, Donghyuck saw her and asked her to come with them. Of course Jaehyun will also be there.

They all decided to watch the drag racing first as Jaehyun suggested since both of his cousins, Wooyoung, and Wooseok will be participating. They went there using Taeyong’s car. Also with them are Yoo Jimin, Jungwoo, Youngho and Doyoung.

The race already started when they arrived. Only three laps left until the race is done. Sadly, the Goddess of Luck seems to leave her side. Coincidentally, Yeeun was also there watching with the audience. I’ll just stay lowkey here. I don’t know what to say when I face her.

Two laps left and two cars are leading. Both of them are way ahead of the remaining cars. Yeri recognized one of the cars as Wooseok’s, which she saw when he was practicing during the early hours of the morning.

“Wooseok’s car is the red one while Wooyoung owns the black one. Either way, the Jungs wins.” Jaehyun explained.

I do hope none of them are involved in your family business.

Wooyoung proudly came out as the winner. Now I see why Wooseok has been training during early morning. He must be determined to defeat his cousin. He probably loses because he rejected Yoojung yesterday. Karma’s a .

From their position, they can see who came down to congratulate the winners. Her classmate Yunho, and surprisingly Seonghwa, both came down to congratulate Wooyoung along with other guys who she recognized to be from other departments, but can’t remember their names. Is Seonghwa friends with them? In Wooseok’s side, Doyeon came to congratulate him. This is the first interaction I’ve seen between the two of them. Who knows that they’re dating?

They decided to have a late lunch at a restaurant nearby. After that, they went to the firing range where another competition was held. It is still on the same island as the drag race competition was held. The reason why they will be going there is because Donghyuck was actually good at this. I’ll add another suspicion to Donghyuck. So far, Donghyuck is leading by a point more than Seonghwa.

 When they arrived, the points were even. Seonghwa also participated in this event. Another shocker is Yoojung who also participated in this

What the hell?

There are quite a lot of players in this, so this takes a lot of time. All of them are bored. They went to Donhyuck to ask permission if they can leave, but be back on the final round. They are pretty confident that Donghyuck will win.

They then visited the other places in this island where the competitions are held. One is the polo competition, another one is the boating competition, and the last one is what Yeri is interested in the most, the betting competition.

 Surprisingly, gambling is considered a sport by the elites. Participants are betting their money on the other ongoing sports. Since this is a competition, players were given starting money rather than using their own money.  The leading players are Park Jimin and his sister Rose. It’s both expected and unexpected. I know that they’re good with money, but I’m surprised that they also participated in this.

A few minutes later, they decided to check back on Donghyuck. Surprisingly and unsurprisingly, both Donghyuck and Seonghwa will be facing each other in the quarter finals. Whoever wins, will be facing Yoojung, which is quite a surprise for Yeri. 

The person with the most targets to shoot under a minute wins. The competition against the two will be held simultaneously. Both of them are using a magnum gun, which has only six bullets. There are exactly six targets which are moving in two dimensions, so missing a target means that you won’t perfect the competition.

On his first bullet, Donghyuck missed the target, while Seonghwa effortlessly hit every target up to the fourth one which he missed. Both of them are in the same level each with one target missed. 30 seconds left. Donghyuck missed his fifth target, but he managed to hit the last one, as a result he finished first. Seonghwa on the other hand, was able to hit the rest of the remaining targets, and so he won. Seonghwa exceeds Donghyuck by one suspicion point.

The group didn’t bother to watch the fight between Seonghwa and Yoojung as Donghyuck already lost. Donghyuck went with them to see the other competitions within that island.. Great, now I have at least four people under suspicion with. Come to think of it, I didn’t talk with Jaehyun that much today. I guess his is just right since I can’t fully trust him yet. I guess the innocent ones are only Taeyong oppa, Youngho oppa  and Jimin. Right, I haven’t had a good talk with Jimin yet. Evening came and they decided to eat dinner at a restaurant.

Oh wait, she’s leaving? We haven’t finished our dinner yet.

“Bye. I need to prepare for later.” Jimin said as she went outside of the restaurant.

“Good luck!” Donghyuck, Jungwoo, and Youngho yelled at her.

Right, she will be participating in the pageant later. Joohyun unnie and Minho sunbaenim are our contestants for our department. I wonder if Junmyeon oppa will be jealous.

After they finished eating, they went back to their college for the night program. Of course, Yeri wouldn’t go home so that she could see his brother’s face. They decided to visit Jimin. Coincidentally, Jaemin is her partner. I know he is Jaehyun’s clubmate but I rarely see him. 

“How was your game earlier?” Donghyuck asked.

“Tennis? I came in third place. For Ping Pong, I didn’t win. For Taekwondo, I won 5th place. I forgot the rest. Sorry.”

Now I see the reason why he can’t hang out with his club mates. 

They chatted for a while until someone knocked at the waiting room. Aeri, Minjeong, and Ningning (who she met in person for the first time) visited them. What a coincidence. This will be the right time to ask her.

Yeri waited for a while since they are also busy chatting with others. A little while later, more of their clubmates came, even the ones from abroad. The room became so crowded. There are more than twenty people in the room so naturally it will feel hot. Others went outside to reunite with their friends. I only got twenty minutes to chat with Aeri before the program started.

She mustered up her courage, and asked Aeri to talk to her privately. Of course, they went inside Yeri’s car to talk. Yeri asked BI to give them privacy.

“Now we’re all alone. What was that about? Honestly, I’m scared that you may sell me or kill me since only two of us are in the car. You can perfectly kill me here.” Aeri said.

“What the hell are you thinking? Anyway I’m not going to talk about the organization today.”

“Oh. I’m disappointed. So what are we going to talk about? Your boyfriend?”

“No. I’m going to talk about you.”

“Now I’m scared.”

“Don’t be scared. Anyway, I’ll just send the recording from our meeting sessions to you later. Now, please answer my question. Who the hell are you?”

“I’m Aeri.”

“Who is your mother?”

“I guess you must have known already. Yeah we have the same mother, or do we?”

“Yeah I already theorize that Beomgyu is your brother. You must have known that my only way out is by answering this question. Anyway, what happened with our family?”

“I can’t say that it is our family. Where the hell are you from by the way?”

“I was going to ask the same question. You still haven’t answered my previous question.”

“Yes, my mother is from the Kang family. They have a rift which caused them to cut ties with them.”

“Imagine how powerful that would be if your parents had a good relationship. Kang is part of the organization; being married into an investigation agency would make them immune.”

“That’s what caused the rift between my parents. Their marriage only lasted a year after I was born. My father went back to Japan. My mother remarried which resulted in Beomgyu. Years later, I moved to Japan.``

“So Beomgyu is also an elite?”

“Not really. My mother cut ties with her family before he was born. He also doesn’t know about this. I’m the only one who is in contact with one of my cousins on my mother's side.”

“Okay. No wonder they agreed easily when I was adopted. They know that I will be in good hands despite the fact that their family broke apart. It’s five minutes until the program starts. Let's go back.”

“Wait, aren’t you angry about it?”

“About what?”

“About your whole life being a lie.”

“I was. A month ago when we met in the mainland, I theorized about it, so basically I prepared for this to happen. That was a month ago. Now I guess you could say that I already moved on, although I still haven’t talked to Beomgyu and my, wait sorry, your parents after I learned this.”

“So you’re okay now?”

“I guess so.”

“Are you sure?”

“ This is the consequence of pretending to be someone, I am accepting this.” 

They went back to the main auditorium where the program was held. Wait, I have the diary with me.

“What’s this? Is this my old diary?”

“Yeah, Beomgyu gave it to me the day we met. I wonder why he didn’t give it to you.”

“Maybe he wants you to realize that you are living in a lie.”

“I guess so.”

“So you already expected that I’m going to come?”

“I figured that you will be supporting Jimin and Jaemim.”

“How about you? Are you gonna support them or you’ll support your own department?”

“I’m just here to watch. I’ll support my own department and also theirs.”

The competition began when the MC began introducing the contestants. First was the management department.

“From the Management Department, please welcome Kim Jongin and Kim Jisoo!”

“Soar high Tycoons! Soar high Tycoons!” The students cheered for their department.

A few departments later, the social studies department came.
