They all went out to see who their visitors were. 

“I wonder who that could be. Nobody knew about this, except us.” Seulgi wondered.

“Maybe someone spilled the tea?” Hoseok suggested.

Not Sooyoung unnie again.

“Hyung you’re here?” A man who is very familiar to Yeri asked.

“Ilhoon what are you doing here?” Junmyeon asked.

“I’m gonna ask the same. I’m here because Jaehuyn informed me that he got shot.”

So he’s not Jonghyun’s visitor? Wait, this is gonna cause chaos if someone from the Jungs knew about this. Well, it’s too late for that. Sooner or later, his family will know.

“Sir, I thought you’re asking for Kim Jonghyun?” Baekhyun asked.

“Wait. He’s here? He’s alive?”

“I also asked the same thing to Junmyeon earlier. Anyways, I apologized for relaying the wrong information.”

The others went up while Yeri stayed behind to buy a drink and to have time to think.

Now what? Ilhoon oppa is a Jung. When he learns that Jonghyun is alive, we will be doomed. How would Junmyeon oppa explain this? I feel bad for him. He has been receiving the consequences of our actions. We shouldn’t have faced the head on. But then again, how about Seulgi unnie? I can’t just stay away and leave her. I did the right thing. I must continue moving forward. I won’t regret this.

“Yeri you’re here too?” Seulgi asked.

“You’re also thirsty?”

“Yeah. From all that earlier.”

“It’s so confusing. I came here hoping for answers, not for another set of questions.”

“Answers about what?”

I usually planned what I will be saying, but ever since I came here, my mouth is always slipping. I became careless.

“About who’s behind your kidnapping and other s.”

“Oh, right. Yeah, we got more questions than answers. It already happened, right? We can’t do anything anymore.”

“Let’s not regret this. We can’t just time travel back to time and fix this.”

Who am I kidding? I’m such a hypocrite. It is all my fault. If I hadn’t gone out to take a glimpse at them, the gun shouldn’t have been fired. NO one should’ve been hurt. My brother won’t go to extreme lengths to cover for us.

 If only, I hadn’t prioritized my curiosity over safety, none of these would happen. Right, curiosity kills. Unfortunately, I was able to prove this.

“You seem to be taking this worst than me. Is anything bothering you? You’re concerned about Jaehyun right?”

No, not at all. I’m concerned about what will happen next. Maybe, I’m also concerned about him. Just a little I guess. He’s probably the third or fourth in my current concerned list.

“You’re not answering again. I guess you’re really concerned about him.”

“You sure do. You remind me of myself in my younger days.”

“You’re talking as if you’re an old person. You’re only older than me by about three years.”

“Fine. Jimin was nice back then. I don’t know what happened now. Maybe it’s because he learned about my plan.”

“I know. You know what, I think Jimin and I could have been a good pair if we were born in a different family.”

“It’s different. Romeo and Juliet are minors while the two of us are adults. Fun fact, Juliet was thirteen when she married Romeo.”

They continued on talking about things, until someone familiar came by.

“Thank God you’re here.” Wooseok said.

“Why are you here?”

“I’m finding Ilhoon. He told me to come here since Jaehyun got shot. Do you know where they are?”

“Room 1104.”

“Thanks.”

He then left and headed for the elevator.

“That’s your cousin right?”

“Yeah.”

“I guess good looks run in the genes.”

“So this is a habit of yours, being silent when flustered.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“Earlier you didn't respond when I asked if you were concerned about Jaehyun. Now, I just complimented you and you don’t seem to respond as well.”

So that was supposed to be about me. I guess I wasn’t that absorbed in this role playing.

“Here you go again. See I’m right you’re silent when you’re flustered.”

“I’m sorry about that.”

“Why so?”

“I don’t know. I don’t have much to say about that, so I just said sorry.”

“My god.”

As soon as Seulgi finished speaking, her phone rang. She excused herself from Yeri to take the call. She came back with a different expression.

“What happened?” Yeri asked.

“My mother said, our debt has been paid.”

“By whom?”

“I don’t know. She didn’t mention who it was. Whoever was it, I am very thankful.”

They went back to Jaehyun’s hospital room to tell Joohyun about the news.

“Where are they?”

“Who?”

“The others?”

“Ahh them. Hoseok went home, but don’t worry, I asked him not to tell the other members of my family. I don’t know about the rest. I think Ilhoon hyung and Junmyeon hyung went outside to talk. Wooseok and Joohyun noona soon followed them. Wait, Hoseok hyung left this.”

He gave the flash drive to Yeri.

“He said it contains videos of the cameras earlier and other usable files.”

“Thanks.”

Seulgi and Yeri then went to Jonghyun’s room. They are right. The others are here.

“I know who did this!” Ilhoon exclaimed.

“Hyung, please stop. You’re talking nonsense again.” Wooseok tried to calm him down.

“Don’t you dare stop me.”

“I will. Look, you are in a state where you might possibly hurt someone.”

“Yeah and I will. I will hunt them until everyone is killed.”

Now this is some serious . I should have listened to Junmyeon oppa.

“Ilhoon. That’s enough.” Junmyeon finally intervened.

“So you’re also going to stop me. I guess I might have to hurt you then.”

“I don’t know what you have in your mind right now, but you need to calm down.”

“Do you think that it’s going to work?”

“Yeah I think so. Why aren’t you on my side? They are also responsible for the death of your sister.”

He went outside the room. Wooseok then followed him.

“Was he drunk or something?” Yeri asked.

“No he is perfectly sober.”

“Why is he acting like that?”

“Honestly I don’t know. He was under the influence of something years ago, but he’s clean of it now, so I don’t know why he’s acting like that.”

“What happened?”

“I don’t want to talk about it. Maybe next time.”

I’ll just shut up. I’m scared that Joohyun unnie will slap me or what.

“Okay.”

This is another proof that the plan created more questions than answers. 

“Unnie, somebody paid for our debt.” Seulgi said.

“What?”

“Yeah, my mother told me about it. She still doesn’t know who paid it. I don’t know who to thank.”

“We’ll learn about it eventually.”

“We still haven’t talked about who will stay here for Jonghyun hyung. Jaehyun will be discharged later so we don’t need to worry about him.” Junmyeon reminded me.

“Should we do shifts?” Seulgi suggested.

“We’re going to miss our classes if he still hasn't recovered.” Joohyun contradicted.

Wait, Hayi unnie. Yeah, I think she can be with him. I’m sure she won’t mind seeing an old friend. Plus she’s already smart enough. She doesn’t need classes. 

“How about Hayi unnie?”

“Why what’s with her?” Junmyeon asked.

“She’s close with him, and she’s already smart enough to skip classes and still get a high grade.”

“You knew?”

“She once told me about it.”

“You guys are confused. I thought Yeri already knew about it since they’re cousins. Why are you shocked?” Seulgi asked Junmyeon.

“I have my own reasons. Let’s talk.” He said to Yeri.

“What is it about?”

“I have this feeling that you already know what happened years ago.”

“I do. Yeeun told me. Why? What’s wrong?”

“How much did you know?”

“I know that something happened with your sister years ago. Yeeun and Jaehyun are involved in it. That’s it.”

“That’s it?”

“Yeah.”

“I doubt it. I’m sure you know about Jonghyun.”

“I do, but I don’t recognize his face. I heard stories from Hayi unnie.”

“How much did you know?”

“I know that they are close friends and something also happened to him. Are we done?”

“Not yet. I wonder how your conversation came to that topic.”

“We just talk about it casually.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“You’re keeping your words to a bare minimum. I know you don’t want to spill something.”

“Then what do you think it is?”

“It is either, you directly ask them because of curiosity, or something happens which pushes you to ask it.”

“It’s the first option. I just asked out of curiosity. Are we done?”

“You seem to be in such a hurry. What do you want to do after this?”

“I don’t have anything to do.”

“I see. You just want this to be over.”

“Yeah.”

“I’ll let you go for now. I can’t seem to find an ace against you. We’ll talk if I find out something. For now, I’ll agree to your plan.”

And he did. He let Hayi know about what happened, and she hurriedly came to the hospital. BI came along with her. BI’s here? Junmyeon doesn’t seem to be shocked about BI coming with unnie. Does he know?

“Yeri, we need to talk after this.”

How many times have I heard that sentence today? 

She asked for privacy and went inside the room. Joohyun and Seulgi left after knowing that someone will be staying with Jonghyun. They went out about an hour later.

“Can you talk with Yeri privately?” She asked Junmyeon.

“What is it about?”

“Things.”

“Yeri, I need to talk with you about this later.”
