"That's not the full story actually. Remember that it happened in mainland Taiwan? You would probably expect how it was taken care of."

These humans don't have a sense of justice.

"It is really awful. It was you who took the blame right?"

"It was me, although I didn't serve in prison for that. I was only fined, but my mother hated me even more for it."

"By the way, why were you in Taiwan?"

"I visited my father and my stepmother there. Thanks to my parents separating, I got to meet and befriend Elkie.”

They parted in their own ways when they reached the parking lot.

Tomorrow is White Day, but Yeri doesn't have plans to celebrate it. I don't see the reason that I should celebrate it. I'm rich, but I don't want to spend money over a little thing like this. Actually she did.

Before they arrived at the school she asked BI to drive to the mall. The malls are open 24/7 so it is not a problem for her. She bought something and asked BI to drive to the school.

It was absolute chaos when she arrived. Students were rowdy. Several of them are lining up to their crushes. She is in the parking lot, yet she can still see the students due to the huge line. One of Jaehyun's friends, Mingyu, has got more than twenty students lining up to hug him since he got this free hugs sign. She also saw Dahyun take a picture with Eunwoo. Good for her.

Wait, it is White Day, not Valentine's Day. Why am I the one giving a gift? I should have given the gift last month. Nevermind. Almost everyone here is giving gifts no matter what gender they are. I guess the Western’s concept of Valentine has taken over us. It doesn't matter what gender you are, everyone is free to give gifts.

She is spacing out due to excessive thinking about White Day. She didn't even realize that Jaehyun was waving at her.

"Take it, before I take it back." Jaehyun suddenly said.

"I guess you're still choosing to be ignorant."

"This is for the betterment of my mind."

"You are selfish, you know? How about me then? Do you think my mind will be at peace when you don't believe me?"

He kept his mouth shut.

"Here's your gift by the way. Bye." She said, as she threw the gift to him.

Before she started walking, he held her hand.

"Thank you."

"Welcome, and thank you for your gift too."

Yeri started walking, but she saw Jungkook coming in their direction. She immediately turned back to Jaehyun.

"I forgot something."

"What?"

"In your car, right now."

Jaehyun, confused, entered the car.

"What was it? Why are you avoiding Jungkook?"

"I'm not avoiding him. I just remembered something the moment I saw him."

"What?"

"Do you know that he became a trainee?"

"Why are you asking that? Of course I knew about it. Actually, I only knew about it when a scandal of his was revealed."

"Okay, I see you knew about it."

"That's the reason why you came back here?"

"I still have a lot of questions."

"Why are you interested in him by the way?"

"He claimed to be in a relationship with my friend. I had to be sure what was the reason he lied about it, and also my friend's reason she cooperated with him in faking the relationship."

"I see now what the questions that you wanna ask about are?"

"Why did he become a trainee?"

"Actually, I don't know. I haven't asked him about it."

"I got this gut feeling that he is in there for something."

"Like what?"

"I don't know what the hell he is in. I just think he hides a lot of secrets, but he fails to do so."

"Do you think it may be connected to him being in a fake relationship with your friend?"

"I think so. Personally, I wanted to ask him, but it maybe crosses the line."

"How about you ask your friend?"

"I'm not sure when I can ask her since it's been so long since I last talked to her, and it may possibly be a bad thing when our first conversation in weeks is about her fake relationship."

"Whatever suits you."

For the rest of the days, the students are busy preparing for the acquaintance party. The current student council is in a hectic schedule preparing for both the acquaintance party and the upcoming election. The remaining students are busy balancing their extracurricular activities and their studies. They have practice almost every day, which makes Yeri really busy. She didn't have time to confront either Jungkook or Saeron due to this. In fact she even forgot about it until today.

Half of the contestants are already done with their performance. Yeri's group will be next.

Minutes later, the group ahead of them finished performing. Nervousness overcame her whole body, which made her eat some of her mint candies. Although she doesn't have a huge role in this performance, she is still anxious. The moment came, and it was their time to perform.

The performance started with a car crash. The twist is, this performance is gender swapped without cross-dressing. Jimin got the role of the main lead who is a reporter. Doyeon, being in great experience with Tzuyu in arguing, got the role of the prosecutor. Tzuyu, sadly, got the role of the attorney with a dark mind. Lastly, Naeun got the role of the policeman who likes the main lead.

This is so stupid. Indeed it is. When they were already in the courtroom scene, Tzuyu and Doyeon argued in rap style. The two of them don't know how to rap, yet they were picked by Jimin due to the fact that they like to argue against each other.

Finally the performance is finished. As soon as it ended, Yeri began thanking the heavens. Several group performed until the MCs declared that it was time for dinner. The winner will be announced later, and also the election candidates. There will be a party after class.

Yeri was then pulled by Sooyoung and dragged her where the other girls were.

"Go greet Joohyun unnie happy birthday."

Why am I being forced?

"You are too harsh on her." Seungwan commented.

"Happy birthday unnie." She said wearily.

"It's fine Yeri, you are not required to greet me at all. Speaking of which, Sooyoung, why did you drag Yeri? The other girls just came here to greet me. Why did you drag her?"

"Oh that reminds me, Yeri, please call your brother."

"Don't."

"Do it."

Who am I supposed to follow?

"You don't need to call me. Anyways, happy birthday." Junmyeon entered the conversation.

The rest of the girls ; even Seungwan who didn't notice that Chanyeol came with Junmyeon. The two of them were introduced by Sooyoung to each other. Although they were awkward at first, due to Seungwan's position, they soon became comfortable with each other when the group decided to eat dinner together. Of course, Sooyoung, the great shipper, enjoyed every moment of it. Jongdae also joined them upon seeing Chanyeol and Junmyeon. While dining, she received a text message from BI which said that he can't fetch her.

The dinner soon ended and it was time for games. Of course Yeri didn't dare to participate in any of these. For the rest of the games, she stayed with the girls. She felt comfortable with them. Now, it is time to announce who won the group contest. Of course it wasn't them. Yeri didn't even expect that their group would place in the top three. The grand winner was Jungkook's group. . I almost forgot. I need to ask him after this.

She was so preoccupied that she didn't even hear that Mark and Mina were competing against each other for the batch representative position.

Once the party started, she slipped into the crowd to find Jungkook. It took her a while to find him because of the crowd.

"Hey Yeri."

"Hi."

"Did you enjoy the party?"

"No, I didn't."

"Oh I see. By the way, are you going to ask something?"

"Yeah you got it."

"About what?"

"Saeron"

"Let's talk privately."

They both went outside the auditorium, where no one was there. Little did they know that they are both being followed by Jaehyun.

"What was it"

"You were lying about being with Saeron."

"Excuse me?"

"You were sweating that night when I asked you for a handshake. Your heart is beating too fast which causes you to sweat a lot."

"Okay you got me."

That's it? He gave up easily?

"Is it that big of a deal?" He asked.

"Of course it is. You involved my friend in it."

"Let me ask you, how did you meet Saeron?"

"Met her while in therapy in the mainland.

Let me use that excuse until I don't know when.

"Are you sure about that?"

"Of course I am. It is my own experience."

It isn't. I am living the life as a fake.

"I am amazed at how you trust yourself. How about Saeron? Do you trust her?"

He knows.

"Of course, she is my friend after all."

"I see. I suppose there will be a time where you won't understand each other. My friends don't understand me anymore. You heard of that song right? From the newly debuted idol, Choi Beomgyu. "

Who sent you to do this?

"Fun fact, we are both trainees in BH Entertainment. Okay it seems that we have a nice chat. I've got to go now, bye."

Let me capture you and torture you until you spit everything.

Jungkook then went back to the auditorium.

"Jaehyun you can come out now."

He came out from his place of hiding slightly confused.

"You caught me. How did you know I was in there?"

"I bumped into you earlier while I'm going to Jungkook. I expected that you might have followed me."

"And I did."

"You must have heard what we were talking about."

"Yes."

"So now do you believe me?"

"It isn't good to talk outside, let's talk about this later." He said as they entered the auditorium back.

Actually, Jaehyun isn't the only one who heard their conversation.

"Kino."

"Deuxe, what?"

"Kim Yerim was able to confront Reve and got several pieces of information."

He flinched at the mention of Yeri’s name..

"To what extent?"

"She knows that we are spying on her. She couldn't stop getting this information until Reve mentioned her brother which stunned her."

"Well this is unfortunate." The call ended.

No, this is f
