When Ruby Jane became Jennie
Minsan, ayos lang magpaalamSeulgi was already feeling antsy. She has just two days left para matapos 'yung application niya pero hindi pa rin niya hawak 'yung fundamental detail about her own art book - its title.
It's a vexatious time and she's frustrated at herself. This is supposedly within her territory dahil graphic designer siya, pero after studying and looking at every example ng perceptual illusion which she has been exposed to, primarily works ni John Langdon at Charles Edmiston, she still got no clue.
She even tried one of the oldest tricks in the book (pun intended), yung reading her book in front of a mirror in the hopes na inverted text lang 'yung title, but no, that still wasn't it.
She's been persistently asking Jennie to help her and Jennie would, pero ang hindi alam ni Seulgi, sadya siyang nililihis at nililigaw ni Jennie para hindi niya madiskubre at maintindihan yung titulo.
Hindi na makatulog si Seulgi kakaisip dito. She will pore over the book for hours sa may desk niya sa room niya.
She was at this state when Jennie called her. "Mahal, hindi ka pa ba matutulog?"
"Mahal ko, kailangan ko na talaga kasi malaman yung title nung art book ko. Malapit na deadline nung application. I really believe in this cause."
Something snapped inside Jennie when she heard the words "title" and "art book."
"You don't need to know it Seulgi!" she said, furious. "You cannot know."
"I cannot know?" napatda si Seulgi sa sinabi ng kasintahan niya.
