Seulgi was only a kid when she first saw two women share one of the purest looks of devotion and fidelity she's ever seen. Hindi pa niya naiintindihan kung ano ibig sabihin nun nung una - ang alam lang niya, itong dalawang babae sa novelty store nila ay tumitingin ng shirt na bibilhin nila para sa isa't isa.

At ang pinili nila ay ang shirt na may nakalagay na "Sinta." 

Growing up, she realized what that look exchanged between the two women meant - it meant love. And it's the kind of love that should not be shunned, but should be celebrated. 

At ito ang gagawin nila ni Joohyun sa Project Sinta - isang visibility campaign para sa iba't ibang uri ng pag-ibig at pamilya. They will do the project in honor of Joohyun's moms. 

The project will sell merchandise designed by Seulgi na tungkol sa LGBT love and families, proceeds of which will go to an NGO which her friend and former colleague, Jisoo, works for. 

Madali niyang napa-oo si Jisoo sa campaign. Nung magkatrabaho pa sila, nag-vo-volunteer si Jisoo sa NGO na parang shelter para sa mga LGBT people na inabandona ng pamilya - from the young ones hanggang dun sa mga lolo at lola na. Nung nasa Taiwan na si Seulgi, Jisoo kept in touch with her dahil nagtatanong din ito madalas sa kanya how Taiwan became a progressive haven for the LGBT community. 

"Seulgi, sobrang in ako sa project na 'to. Oks din naman na may big companies which partner with us, and gets naman namin na being a business, the profits from the LGBT-themed products they sell will mostly go to them. Ang caveat lang dun ay baka kahit they promote equality and LGBT love sa items nila, hindi naman pala inclusive policies nila."

"It's like a form of pinkwashing," Seulgi agreed. 

Pero dito sa Project Sinta, sigurado na ang mensahe at core ay para sa LGBT people talaga, walang bakit, walang pero. 

Seulgi and Joohyun invited her moms to take part in a photo shoot for the project - ang alam lang nila, participants lang sila. They didn't know the project was  inspired by them.
