Momo's POV:

"And this is the infamous square where everyone gathers during our festivals and celebrations..." I explained looking around.

"Is this place always this crowded and busy?" Chaeng asked. I chuckled and nodded. I just hoped no one noticed the breaking of my voice. I took a deep breath and pointed to the large tower that stood out among all the houses and buildings.

"And that is our clock tower. It's the same one that we read about back at the academy" I said

"You mean the one where.." Jihyo started but I cut her off with a "Yup". I didn't think I could handle another history lesson. I continued the tour and we ended up in front of a bakery I used to come to as a kid with my mom and dad. They used to bring me here every time I did well during training. I stared at the store and the way the bell jingled when a customer went in or came out.

Flashback

A 4 year old Momo was hopping around the square while her parents greeted all the shopkeepers. Momo who was following a butterfly shrieked in delight when it sat on her nose. She tried to touch it with her tiny hands but it flew away. She pouted and tried to jump and catch it. She kept jumping and running behind it until she felt herself fly. She forgot about the butterfly and gasped when her dad began to tickle her. She began to laugh hysterically and could only calm down when her mom chided her dad to stop teasing their daughter. Momo giggled and squished her face into her father's embrace. He hugged her tight and asked "So my Baby Peach, what do you want to eat?" 

"Cake!" Momo exclaimed and smiled widely.

"Well, since you did well in class today Dad and I decided to get you a treat! How does that sound  my baby?" her mom asked her

She flung out her chubby and little arms and wiggled in her dad's hold so that her mom could carry her. Her mom chuckled and took Baby Momo into her arms and kissed her head. 

"I love you my darling" She said and kissed Momo's nose making Baby Momo scrunch her little face.

"Uh... Momo?" Jeong asked snapping her fingers in front of me. I blinked back those happy tears that almost fell onto my cheeks and turned to her with a raised eyebrow.

"Can we grab something to eat? It looks really good" She said pointing to the bakery. I smiled and walked over to the door and opened it. I stood at the back while my friends went over and began to bicker and decide which item they want. Coming here to this place was nostalgic.

"I'm sorry to hear about your parents, your highness" a familiar voice said from behind. I whirled to find the owner of this bakery. I gave him a small sad smile and said "Coming here to this place reminds me of them you know?"

He nodded and said "Your usual order I presume?" . Wait... He still remembers it? I mean it's been so long since I last came here. It's been years! I always got my things delivered to the palace. I gaped and nodded while he chuckled and went to the counter to take the other orders. I went over to the table in the corner and sat down. The smell of the freshly baked bread filled my nose and I smiled at the feeling.

"Unnie, this place is incredible!" Tzu said as she took a seat beside me. She was beaming as she enjoyed the smell of her favorite food. I chuckled when I saw her wiggle in her seat when she saw Chaeng come over with their tray. They'd gotten a cinnamon roll, strawberry milkshake and some freshly baked multi grain bread. I went back to the counter to fetch my chocolate peanut butter cupcake and the apple pie donut. Sana and Dahyun decided to share a double Chocolate chip frappe and a triple chocolate cake donut. Nayeon unnie had gone for a simple carrot cake with vanilla frosting while Jeong had gone for a chocolate cupcake with cookies and cream frosting, a cinnamon roll and a caramel mocha. Jihyo had picked up a plate of assorted macarons and a large salted pretzel. We all sat around the table and enjoyed the f
