Momo's POV:

I closed my eyes and held out my arms trying to gather my power and break the shield. Breaking shields required skills and practice. It required one to make sure that they didn't tire themselves out or use up their energy while breaking it. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. I could see the invisible barrier in front of me and I could feel the power in me begging to be released. I threw it at the shield with a such a force that the whole ground shook and a loud BOOM could be heard. I had almost penetrated through the last layer when a sudden force tried to set me off. I grunted. How stupid of me. Now my own power was being redirected to me. I winced as a blast of light hit my stomach. I let out a small whimper and forced myself to bear the mild pain till I break the last layer. I grunted and forced more power to hit the barrier. The only problem was the more power I sent to break the shield, the more pain it gave me. I screamed as the intensity of light hitting me suddenly increased. I could feel the light hit my torso and I knew I had to break the shield now or else I'd end up hurting myself. I pulled myself together and yelled as I brought my hands together and let out every last drop of power inside me to break that shield. I had to dig my legs in the ground to prevent myself from losing my stance as the force of my power hitting the barrier threatened to make me fall. I grunted and pushed more power into it and heard a defiant crack. A sudden wind was released into the world and flitted through the forest behind me. I tried to look beyond the fog that had suddenly covered my vision. I was panting heavily and bent down to my knees. I felt the others come behind me. I couldn't hear what they were saying. Breaking the shield had drained me. And not to mention the burning pain on my stomach. So much for trying to save the world. I felt someone try to haul me up but I shrugged it off and slumped on the ground. I was dizzy, I was in pain and I was exhausted. I needed a few minutes.

Sana's POV:

I stood gaping when I saw the amount of power Momo let out to hit the wall in front of us. I couldn't believe what I saw in front of me. I shut my eyes tight as the intensity of light became to bright and I couldn't face it. I felt the brightness reduce and squinted as I cracked open an eye to find that Nayeon unnie and Chaengie had created an air and soil barrier that cut out the light. I didn't know how in the world it worked, but it did. I heard Momo scream and felt the world shudder as she let out more of her power. I flinched and bit my lip in apprehension as I heard a loud crack that practically cleaved the world apart. I snapped my head up and looked at the others. A sudden silence filled the whole place. I noticed that fog had begun to seep into the area. I was shocked but Dahyun seemed to have been using her head as she started to clear the air so that we could see. I could faintly see Momo slumped on the ground. Lisa ran to her and tried to help her up

"Wh-What happened to her?" Tzu asked in a small whisper

"That fool" Lisa muttered as she tried to help her again.

Momo shook Lisa's hand off and groaned. She looked exhausted. I kneeled and began to rub her back. She whimpered in pain and I focused on her. Her shirt was ripped at the front. Wait.. Ripped? I bent forward and noticed that her stomach had red scorch marks.  

"Momo!" I gasped and immediately used my power to create ice and kept it against her burns.

"How- How did that happen?" Chae asked Lisa.

"Great! Thanks a lot Mo..." She muttered before standing up.

"Uh well, the shield is a reflective surface, you hit it- it hits you back. Something like a punching bag. " she explained while I desperately tried to keep the ice to stay as ice and not melt into water

"It won't work you know?" Lisa told me. What? I whipped my head to her and glared

"She needs a minute that's all. Come on, we need to get going. " she said and started walking away

"Jeong" Nayeon unnie snapped and Lisa was stopped by a wall of fire.

"What?" she snapped

"How do we heal her?" I yelled. I felt Momo moving in my arms as I spoke and looked down at her. She opened her eyes and said "I'm fine Sana". She struggled to get up so I helped her up and she limped over to where Lisa was. I followed behind incase she fell or fainted.

"See I told you" Lisa said as she glared at Momo. Momo just shook her head and turned back to us. 

"Sorry, I just let out a lot of my power at a go.. It sort of sent me into some kind of a shock, I'm really fine guys.. I just needed a minute for the dizziness to go." she said with a groan as we walked with her. I tried to help her but she seemed better now. She said she'd had some kind of after shock causing her to fall. We crossed the line where the barrier had been and I gasped. Everyone around me gasped. The fog had cleared to reveal a spectacular city. It was mesmerizing and beautiful beyond imagination. Never had I ever thought I'd see a place like this. 
"The city of light" Jihyo said in awe as we all tried to take in the
