That stinging pain struck again. Now, each time he felt this, his instincts would convey a message for him to check the number on that cap of the bottle.

True enough, as much as Youngsaeng dread to see it, 12.

12 more drops, that implied Youngsaeng's last few days with Precious. It no longer decreased in a chronological order.

Since that was the last few times he could see Precious, Youngsaeng decided to use that potion even when not in need. It was more worth it than waiting for it to decrease unknowingly even if he didn't make her appear.

" When are you leaving?" Youngsaeng sternly asked.

Precious kept quiet. She refused to answer that question. It was obvious to Youngsaeng when she will be gone, so Precious didn't find the need to reply him.

" Are you not going to answer me?"

" I'm leaving a few minutes later..."

" I mean... Not for now. I mean, once and for all."

" You wouldn't even realize it, trust me," Precious shook his head and mumbled.

That sentence Precious said meant something for sure.

" Are you really going to keep me in the dark? Until you're really gone? I wouldn't know the answer?"

" I already said, you wouldn't even realize it. You will know why," Precious scoffed.

" How?!" This time, Youngsaeng got agitated.

" If you're going to get irritated by me, I will leave now," Precious threatened.

" Fine! Leave!! Since everything I ask, you wouldn't even bother to answer!" Youngsaeng roared.

" You said it, don't regret."

So, she disappeared.

Youngsaeng shut his eyes hard and inhaled deeply.

* You know I didn't mean it...

" Come out! I don't want to use another drop!" Youngsaeng hollered into the air.

Silence.

" Now what?? Are you really intending to bet your own fate away?!" Precious furiously questioned.

Actually, the way Youngsaeng feels somehow depicts the mood of Precious too. 

" Can't you sense my real intentions? I didn't even mean what I said just now!" Youngsaeng added.

Incinerating orange. The feeling of angst and frustration hovered around them.

When her days are numbered, the quarrel between them tends to intensify as well.
