Hae Won's P.O.V.

My eyes widen as Onew pulls me into a hug.

He rests his head on top of my head.

"I missed you," I bury my face in his chest.

He pats my back and rubs circles into the back of my hand.

It doesn't escape my attention that he didn't say it back.

My teeth dig into my lip.

"Did you not remember me?" I can't look up at his face.

"Course not! How can I forget my old mama?" he holds me back and smiles.

Mama?

I can feel my face fall.

His mouth turns up at one corner and it looks like he's in thought.

"Here, this is an awesome place," he leads me to a little shop.

"Donuts?" I squeak.

He nods with a grin,"One chicken donut and..."

"Coconut," I answer.

The lady hands us our donuts.

We sit at a table.

"Since when are there chicken donuts?" I stare at the plain circle of dough with chicken shavings sprinkled on top of it.

As he takes a big bite he points to the menu.

Onew Donuts.

I nod and nibble on mine.

This felt odd.

Being with him again.

We eat the rest of the snack up and pay.

"No let me. I can afford it now," Onew smiles with a wink.

He takes my hand and we walk around.

"So... Who was that girl?" I look at my feet.

"What girl?"

"The one from the party," I scowl.

"Oh her? Just a friend," he smiles to himself.

"Huh. Just a friend?"

He nods,"Yep."

"I don't believe you," I narrow my eyes.

"Well it shouldn't really concern you anyway," his breath is visible in the air.

My lips press tightly together,"It doesn't concern me?"

"Nope," he gave a little hop in his step.

"What do you mean?" I furrow my brows.

"We were never really anything."

We stop and are facing each other now.

I drop his hand and my arms swing awkwardly by my side.

The distance between us is a million miles.

I just shake my head and walk past him, leaving him there alone.
