Dahyun's fingers stopped from pressing the piano keys when she heard her phone rang on her pocket.

She's at the Music and Arts Room. Alone.

Her class ended early before the lunch break, and so she decided to spend her free time here, playing some songs she's been practicing.

Her eyebrows furrows in confusion once she saw who the caller was. It was Sasha. She nonetheless accepted the call.

"Where are you?" Sasha asked once Dahyun answered her call.

A smile flashed on the Korean's face, "Hello to you too" she chuckles, "I'm at the Music and Arts Room. What made you call?"

"Good" the only word Sasha answered.

Dahyun stood up from sitting for minutes, "Good? I'm asking why you called me, Miss Minatozaki" Dahyun playfully rolls he eyes when she heard the latter giggles on the other line.

Sasha didn't answer.

Then she heard footsteps coming near the room. It's getting closer and closer, and so Dahyun turned her head to look.

Sasha appeared at the door, wearing a grin on her face despite panting.

Did she just ran?

"Delivery for Kim Dahyun" Sasha spoke, phone still near her ear.

Dahyun chuckled once again, ended the call as she approached the latter, "I don't remember delivering anything" she raised her eyebrows in suspicion.

"Well, you might've a memory loss or something" and then Sasha raised her hand, showing a lunch box, it was actually a big lunch box for just one person. "Tadaa" she cheekily uttered.

"Yeah?" Dahyun asks in confusion.

Then Sasha's smile dropped, now pouting as she lowered her hand, "Don't tell me you already ate lunch?"

"Uhh, not yet" Dahyun immediately shook her head.

Sasha looked behind her, checking if she was telling the truth, "What's inside that bag then?" She pointed the one above the piano.

“Oh, those are my lunch” She jests, "but actually, that's just some books I brought"

"Good" Sasha's smile was back.

"Good? You said that twice now" Dahyun couldn't help but grin, "What's up?"

"Well, we're going to have a lunch together whether you like it or not" said Sasha.

"Do I have a choice?" Dahyun grins, "And it's for free, so, I can't refuse that"

"Yeah whatever. Now pick up your bag and we're going up"

Dahyun stared in confusion.

"Geez, rooftop" Sasha playfully pushes Dahyun to take her bag.

------------

"Is this what you do?" Dahyun stated as she looked around. It was her first time being in the rooftop.

It was surprisingly not sunny today. And there's few benches and unused furnitures here. It looks like no one was actually using this place since students are not usually allowed to come here. It became a storage or something.

"Hmm?" Sasha hums, placing the lunch box on a bench.

"Take girls to the rooftop and feed them food?"

And the Japanese laughed, loudly as she looked at Dahyun as if she's too silly for saying that, "Sometimes?" She jests. "No, I'm just kidding, you should be grateful you're the first one I brought here" and she wiggles her eyebrows at Dahyun.

Dahyun chuckled, "Whatever" She then approached Sasha and sat, the lunchbox between them. "How come you have the access here, huh? You must have stole the key"

"Kinda?" Sasha shrugs, "Jihyo let me borrow it though"

"Perks of being friends with the Student Body President, huh?"

Sasha only giggles, and then opened the lunchbox. "Nanny made this for me, and told her to add some more since I wanna share it with you?"

"And why is that?" Dahyun asked, it was an innocent question, curious.

And Sasha looked up to meet those dark brown eyes of Dahyun. It's brighter under the sun, and it glows.

I want to spend time with you…

But she didn't say that, instead, "I want to thank you for saving me when we were camping. You saved me and I did not thank you enough"

"You don't have to do this. I would help you without any condition, you know that" Dahyun instantly stated.

"I know" Sasha smiled at that, "Also, Remember when I told you that I will tell you everything?" Dahyun nodded, "Well, I think it's about time"

"You know, it's okay not to. I mean, I don't want you to pressure or anything, especially if it's very confidential and important" Dahyun sincerely stated, and God, Sasha could feel her heart beating frantically hearing those words coming from her.

How can she be that sweet without even trying?

She fully respects Sasha and her private life.

"But I want to tell you, because I trust you enough for this" Sasha stated, "You know, you are one of the most important people to me, and I think, it's better to tell you some parts of my life like what I do to our friends."

"Thank you, I, uh, that's really nice to hear. You guys included me as a part of your circle" Dahyun couldn't help but smile at that. Grateful and just happy to find such great friends like them.

"Of course, Of course…" Sasha averted her gaze, "But uh, before that" she cleared , "Let's have lunch because I'm already hungry"

"That's a good idea" Dahyun laughs.

-------------------------

"Wait, so you're telling me that Nana's hidden from your relatives?" Dahyun asks in surprise. Sasha nodded, leaning her back on the backrest of the bench and sighed.

"The Clan might look very friendly and kind in front of the camera, Of course, we're supposed to look worth the trust and perfect to earn respect, but behind the scenes.." Sasha looked up to the sky, eyes squinting at the sunlight, "Our relatives are bad eggs"

Dahyun could only stare at Sasha's side profile, listening.

"They only know that I'm the only child of the family, Nana has to be hidden or one of us would be in danger. You know, my Father's the current Alpha in their generation, so we are extra protected because a lot of people would do anything just to steal his position"

"I can't believe such belief is still a thing." Dahyun commented, clearly shocked. "It must be so hard for the two of you, especially your twin sister"

Sasha flashed a faint smile, "Yes, I really feel bad for her.." and she stole a glance at Dahyun, "And the fact that she will have a lot more of responsibilities in the near future, I just couldn't bear thinking about it."

"How would that work? I mean, you are the one who's representing your clan, showing up in every events, how would that work?" Dahyun asks.

"Well, we're' trained especially Nana to remember every single thing and every single person we're interacting, those business partners amd high status people." Sasha answered, there was more a lot to say actually, but she decided that she should share the informations slowly, not wanting Dahyun to be choked up by the informations she's sharing.

"So, you're like, acting as her for now? For her safety?"

Sasha nodded, "After my graduation, I, uh, I mean, Nana will finally be held as the new alpha of the Minatozaki Clan" she flashed a small smile at the worried Dahyun. "That's why we're here. That's pur obligation as a Minatozaki" Dahyun eyebrows were furrowed, it must be because of the sunlight, or because of the informations she receives.

"How about you? After the graduation, I mean. What will happen to you?" Dahyun tried to mask the concern, but it's too visible for the Japanese.

"We will be exchanging lives. It's my turn to hide away from everyone.."

"What.." Dahyun uttered in disbelief.

"I know it " Sasha bitterly chuckles, "Since Nana's going to be the one taking the position, it's my turn to hide while she acts as me, or I don't know? I might actually be the one acting as her in front of the Clan…" Sasha paused, staring down at her hands as she felt her emotions start to well up inside her chest, building up the tears. "But it's for the best, I guess. Nana will finally have the freedom, maybe not that free, but at least she would finally be free from being hidden for decades"

Sasha felt a hand touched hers, and she knows that Dahyun was just worried about her right now. She did not plan tearing up in front of her, but it's just, she can't control her emotions right at this moment. She thought she was ready for this, for whatever will happen in the future…

"Do you...want that kind of life?" Dahyun carefully asks, and Sasha immediately shook her head.

"Of course not, I want Nana and I to be free from everything. We've been suffering since the day we were born. Responsibilities burdened on our shoulders at such young age. We never really experienced a good childhood memories.  But.." Sasha sighs shakily, hoping her tears would stop from flowing, from messing her around, "But our hands are tied. We're a Minatozaki after all, it's like our life's a curse, and we just exist to continur our bloodline and suffer.." she bit her trembling lip, "That's why, while I still have the time to enjoy every single moment I have being free, I tried to at least do everything I want."

She knows that some people might've think of her as someone with a Ride or Die personality as she spends a lot of her time to have fun and do what she wants, and it's not a problem at all because it is true, she is spending her remaining time while still being outside and free. And it might sound selfish but it hurts her knowing the fact that after a few months, her college life will finally come to an end. Meaning her life outside will also come to an end.

But she keeps reminding herself that it's for the best. And that it is what it is. She's fated to spend the rest of her llife like this and so as her twin sister.

She already accepted her fate as a Minatozaki. A fate she never really wanted in the first place.

Her thoughts got pushed back when she felt Dahyun’s fingers intertwining with hers, and so she looked up to meet Dahyun's eyes, worried and sad. And she felt the Korean's thumb wipes the tears that were on her cheeks.

Sasha could only flash sad smile as she focused her eyes on Dahyun still. She never felt more vulnerable and exposed than when she was sharing intimate moment like this with Dahyun. And it's funny how every time she breaks down, it's always Dahyun who is beside her, seeing her being this vulnerable, witnessing her crying because of how ed up her life is.

"I'm sorry that you have to experience such life like tha
