A week passed and every Students were already prepared for the University's Event. The 89th Anniversary of JYPU.



 

Booths were everywhere, and so as the Students wearing Paper Hats that looks like a Crown with JYPU on it, the tradition.

 

Sea of people werr busy, some were happy and excited because they are free from school stuffs for a day.



 

Kim Dahyun wad on the Music room with Gahyeon, practicing one last time before the Talent Show starts. They were already on their formal clothes. 


 

"Are you nervous?" Dahyun asked at Gahyeon who was been shaking her hands, she was standing near the piano while Dahyun's sitting.

 

"Kinda" Gahyeon chuckled nervously. "It's my first time" and she smiled shyly at Dahyun.


 

Dahyun flashed a small smile of encouragement. "Don't worry, you won't be alone up the stage. We're going therr together so don't think about it too much" 

 

And Gahyeon averted her gaze away from Dahyun's genuine eyes. "T-Thank you. For accepting my favor to do this" 


 

Dahyun chuckled once again. "It's nothing, Gahyeon. I'm happy to help here. And stop worrying, you're great, I'm sure they would love the performance" and that got the latter look back at her, eyes in awe, smiling widely, and then she bowed at Dahyun.


 

Then her phone beside her lit up. There was a text from Sasha.

 

"Good luck for your performance! We'll be watching!'

 

And Dahyun couldn't help but smile. Right, they're going to watch it too, but then Dahyun remembered how they rarely meet the past week because of preparing the event. She couldn only meet Sasha and the others at lunch, and the Japanese girl rarely talk, it was unusual for her, but maybe she was just too busy for the event since they're also having a booth of their own department,


 

But Dahyun couldn't help but notice how Sasha would avoid her gaze or maybe she was just overanalyzing things, Sasha would reply shortly and end their conversation fast when they're talking inside the Cafeteria.


 

Dahyun sighed and looked at Gahyeon. "One more practice and we're good" she stated and Gahyeon nod.

Dahyun and Gahyeon were preforming in the stage. The gymnasium's packed with students amd teachers, even the Dean and the Investors were watching.

 

Dahyun was focused on playing the piano, pressing the keys with elegance, she would also take a glimpse at her partner, for more satisfaction with the Audience, smiling at each other as they continued.

 

Then her eyes would look at where hrr friends are, cheering for them and she almost chuckled at Chaeyoung whonwas holding a fake banner with her name printed big on it, and then her eyes went on Sadsha who was also looking at her with a smile. And when their eyes met, Sasha's smile widened and mouthed 'You're doing great'

 

But her eyes shifted at the back of them,


 

Her eyes slightly widened as she saw the person, her body stiffined, almost forgetting that she's performing but she continued, hands shaking as she watched the person looked at a direction,


 

And then loud claps were heard, indicating that their performance came to an end. The Audience stood up from their seats for an applause, and Dahyun stood up too, she was snapped back when Gahyeon pulled her to stand up and bow tp the Audience, especially to the Dean and the Visitors.


 

Her eyes went back to where she found the person she saw awhile ago. Gone.

And in fear, she looked at the direction where her Friends are. Sasha's gone….



 

And so rushed downstairs, leaving Gahyeon in confusion who also walked downstairs. She Ignored the latter who's beej calling her name.



 

Her heart's beating rapidly, chest raising up and down as she walked fastly in the hallways and booths. She ignored the greetings and compliments from the earlier performance. Eyes looking around the crowd, hoping to see that she would see Sasha.


 

None…


 

Her friends might've be confused for her sudden walk out, they might be looking for her right now. . She should've at least asked them where Sasha headed.

 

Her fists were clenching.

 

They couldn't meet…


 

No, she won't let that person talk to her again…

In the darker part of the hallway, where no Students are passing by,


 

Two figures were standing, eyes at each other, but keeping distance for them to even reach an arm.



 

"Why are you here?" Sasha monotonously spoke at the person in front of her.


 

The person who left her out of nowhere. The person she thought that would never ever leave her. 

The person she loved. 

The person she thought who loved her back.

 

The person who broke her heart.

How dare you show up your face, Jungkook" Her lips trembled in anger, breathing heavily as she tried to calm down, but how would she when someone you never expected to show up again, the person you swear not to see again is now standing in front of you.
