Where Seungwan has to babysit and Joohyun isn’t happy

It was supposed to be their date day today. Unfortunately Seungwan got a call from her cousin about having to babysit their 2 year old daughter that goes by the name Yerim due to some emergency that they had to run off to. Seungwan didn’t mind though, she loves spending time with Yerim. Joohyun on the other hand was a bit skeptical, knowing that their date was interrupted. Seungwan assured her that Yerim is just a tiny baby and would not bother them as much. Joohyun caved in, in the end. Anything to make Seungwan happy.

“It won’t be much Hyun, she’s nice and the sweetest thing I have ever met” Seungwan smiled

“Sweetest thing you’ve ever met??”

Joohyun eyes her girlfriend after that short moment of cuddling on the couch waiting for Yerim to come

“A-after you, of course!” Seungwan laughs nervously

Joohyun rolls her eyes. Not long after, Yerim and her parents came to drop their daughter off. Yerim is cute, Joohyun will give her that. A very obedient child too, and listens to Seungwan very well – just like Joohyun herself – and does not wail every ten seconds at the loss of their parents’ presence like other kids do. It was all going well, the three of them were having fun until…it didn’t. At least to Joohyun. Because Yerim started hogging all of Seungwan’s attention and Joohyun was left on the sideline, sulking. And lack of warmth.

It became a battle between Joohyun and Yerim

As Yerim was currently busy playing with her wooden blocks on the carpeted floor just next to the coffee table, Joohyun took that chance to snuggle closer to Seungwan; wanting to be as close as she can be. Seungwan lets out a little smile when Joohyun lays her head on the latter’s shoulder

“Comfy?” Seungwan asked

“Mmm…very”

Joohyun was about to bury her face deeper onto her girlfriend’s neck when out of nowhere Yerim came and hopped onto Seungwan’s lap. She was her thumb and snuggling closer towards the latter

Obviously, Joohyun was pissed

“What the…” Joohyun stared

“Shh…Hyun. She’s sleepy”

Seungwan muttered when she noticed that Yerim was slowly drifting off. And Joohyun snickered

“I’m sleepy too!”

“Shhhhhh”

Seungwan proceeded to cradle Yerim in her arms, rocking her to sleep while leaving her girlfriend on the side, pouting. She tried being closer to Seungwan again, by slowly hooking an arm about the latter’s, but then Yerim started moving slightly as if she was interrupted

“I don’t think she’s comfortable if we’re like this baby…” Seungwan explained

“Well I’m uncomfortable with this situation!” Joohyun whispered annoyingly

“I’ll hug you later okay?”

Seungwan leaned in and gave a peck on her girlfriend’s head before shifting slightly at the other end of the couch, still cradling little Yerim to dreamland.

They were eating in the kitchen, sitting around the dining table. All three of them had their nap time with Seungwan falling asleep while cradling Yerim and Joohyun fell asleep after sulking for God knows how long. So now here they are, with Yerim sitting on the baby chair being served with kids’ healthy meal or some sort. Seungwan, wanting to make it up to Joohyun for earlier, started patting her lap. Signaling to her girlfriend to it on her lap on which Joohyun happily obliged, as she sneaks an arm around her girlfriend’s neck

“Feed me” Joohyun demanded

“Of course, love”

Seungwan smiled and forked one of her mushroom with bits pieces of pork before giving it to Joohyun. Joohyun munched happily and pecked her girlfriend’s nose on which she got a scrunch in return.

They were having their moment when suddenly Yerim started crying. Reaching her arms out towards Seungwan, wanting the elder to pick her up. Joohyun grumbled

“You were just fine before!”

Joohyun looks at Yerim while Seungwan was just feeling guilty for both sides

“Hop off for a while, Hyun. Let me just carry her for a minute” Seungwan said

“She was fine before!” Joohyun argued again

But Yerim started crying louder so Seungwan picked her up anyway and there Joohyun saw Yerim grinning

After moments of eating, with Joohyun furiously forking her meat and chewing it loudly with fire coming out of her nose while glaring at the other two before her, muttering curses under her breath so Yerim won’t be able to hear. Not that she really understood what it meant but, you know.

Seungwan then stood up, placing Yerim back on the baby chair as Joohyun stared at her

“I’m going to the washroom for a bit. Can you keep an eye on Yerim?” Seungwan spoke

Joohyun huffed but nodded anyway. Seungwan walked towards the toilet, leaving Joohyun and Yerim alone. Joohyun waited until the bathroom door was shut and turned around to face Yerim, raising up her fork and pointed at the 2 year old.

“Listen here kid, I know what you’re trying to do”

Joohyun spoke, eyeing little Yerim who was innocently playing with her peas

“You are hogging all of her attention on purpose. You may be small and cute but I won’t back down on a fight”

Joohyun said again, and then Yerim threw a single pea at her direction

“You did not just—“

And Yerim threw it again

“Why you little—oh we are in war you short one”

Yerim ignored her and ate her peas in silence, totally ignoring the latter. Joohyun scoffed, she was about to throw her asparagus on the kid but then she heard a flush and the turn
