Where Joohyun and Seungwan are kids

 

 

Seungwan and Joohyun met when they were just around 6 and 7 years old

 

 

“Joohyun, come here”

 

 

Joohyun looked up and saw her mother standing few feet before her talking to another woman she had never met before. Joohyun blinked twice when she noticed there was another tiny human standing behind the unknown woman. She stood up from the ground, bringing her purple bunny with her and approached her mother with tiny steps

 

 

“Honey, meet Seungwan. She’s our new neighbor. This is her mother”

 

 

Joohyun gazed at the tiny human hiding behind her mother. She noticed that the girl had cute pinch-able cheeks, ones that looked a little like those mochi she loves to eat.

 

 

“Su….” Joohyun spoke, forgetting the name

“Seungwan” her mother repeated

“Chu…?”

“Seungwan”

“Chuwan?”

“It’s Seungwan, honey” the adult chuckles

 

“Chuwan!”

 

 

Somehow the tiny girl’s ears perked up upon hearing the new name she was given. Tiny girl—Seungwan—blinked her eyes when she felt her mother’s arm wrapped around her shoulder, pulling her to the front to face her new neighbor

 

 

“Seungwan, this is Joohyun. But she’s older than you so you can probably call her Joohyun unnie”

 

 

Seungwan blinked again

 

 

“U…nnie?”

“Yes baby, Joohyun unnie”

“Joo…unnie?”

“Joohyun unnie” her mother chuckles

“Joonie”

 

 

When Seungwan said that, Joohyun jumped all of a sudden wearing a huge smile on her face.

 

 

“I am Joonie!” Joohyun cheerfully jumped

“I call you Joonie?”

“Yes! And you are Chuwan!”

“I am Chuwan?” Seungwan titled her head

“Yes!”

 

 

And now Seungwan was smiling

 

 

“JOONIE!”

“CHUWAN!”

 

 

The two mothers were just staring at their child as they ran off together to Joohyun’s backyard, jumping around with Joohyun introducing Seungwan to her purple bunny. It was as if the past 10 minutes of not knowing each other did not happen

 

 

“I guess Chuwan and Joonie it is”

 

 

 

 

And people often tell them that they’ll be very good friends

 

 

“Chuwan!!!! Joonie’s mama got me a cookie!”

 

 

Joohyun ran towards Seungwan who was sitting at her little swing behind her house. If Joohyun wasn’t so focused on her cookie, she would’ve noticed Seungwan’s little frown earlier. But once Seungwan spotted Joohyun, all she had was a toothy smile upon seeing her friend

 

 

“Ohhhh!!! It’s a big cookie!!!” Seungwan cheered before something crossed her mind and made her frown again “That’s cho nice…”

 

“Did Chuwan get a cookie?” Joohyun asked

“No… Chuwan did a bad bad today. Chuwan took a snack without mama’s permission”

“Oh no….”

 

 

The way Joohyun was staring at her friend it was as if Seungwan had committed a huge sinning crime. A little bit over the top reaction to someone who didn’t get a cookie.

 

 

“Mmhm…” Seungwan sighs

 

 

Joohyun tapped her chin, thinking of ways to make her friend happy. Joohyun looked at the back door of Seungwan’s house before turning back to Seungwan who was just staring at the ground kicking rocks

 

 

“Its okay, Chuwan can share it with Joonie!”

 

 

Seungwan gasped, she leans in to whisper. A whisper that is a little too loud to pass off as screaming

 

 

“But… what if mama finds out?”

 

“It will be our wittle schecret”

 

 

Joohyun said and smiled, she then unwraps her huge cookie and breaks it in half before handing it to Seungwan. Seungwan was still a little hesitant but them cookies be looking so damn good that she couldn’t help but to reach out her tiny arms to grab it. She just had to make sure that Joohyun won’t tell her mama about this

 

 

“Pinky pwomise?” Seungwan said

 

“Pinky pwomise”

 

 

 

 

People also often tells them that good friends also has ups and downs

 

 

“Joonie played with Ddeulgi but not with Chuwan”

 

 

Seungwan pouted at Joohyun who was trying hard to play with Seungwan after she spent some time with her other friend Seulgi. When Seungwan saw Joohyun was hugging Seulgi the way she used to hug her, Seungwan felt as if her friend was being taken away and she’ll be left alone for the rest of the day.

 

 

“Ddeulgi was crying because her Popsicle fell. Joonie doesn’t want anybody to cry. It makes Joonie sad…” Joohyun tries to explain herself

“But Chuwan was crying too”

 

 

GASSSPPPPP

 

 

“When????!!” Joohyun asked

“Will cry soon!!!!” Seungwan exclaimed “Not yet”

 

 

Maybe she was just a little too attached

 

 

“JOOHYUN UNNIE!!!!”

 

 

Seulgi came with a bright smile, tacking Joohyun into a hug that causes her to stumble back and accidently hitting Seungwan who was standing behind her. Seungwan lost her little balance and tries to grab Joohyun but she didn’t get to and fell on her
