No One’s POV

Joohyun was awoken by a very loud sound that was blaring outside of her shared room with Seungwan. She stirred, realizing that there was an empty spot beside her and no arms around her waist. Feeling a bit confused that Seungwan woke up earlier than her, and earlier than the chicken apparently. Speaking of, why hasn’t she heard the sound of rooster crowing? Joohyun turned around and lay on her back staring at the ceiling fan

“ARK ARK ARK ARKKKKKKKK”

Is that the sound of a dying cat?

“ COCKKKKKKKKKKK”

W-what is that now?

Joohyun sat up, weirded out by the whole situation and walked out of her room, heading outside where she saw Seulgi and Yerim sitting at the porch with a very dissatisfied look. It was still dark outside, considering it was dusk. But she still needs to find out what was happening and what that weird sound was from a while ago.

As she approaches her two fellow farmers slash sisters, she noticed that they were glaring at a certain something. More like, certain people. Joohyun followed their gaze and saw both her girlfriend and Sooyoung standing on the roof, clearly arguing about something

“What happened here, Yerim?” Joohyun spoke

“Our rooster is broken”

Yerim answered, not even bothering to turn around to face the eldest of all. She’s clearly still bitter, probably because of some certain two wannabe roosters creating a fuss early in the damn morning where everyone just wanted to sleep

“Broken?”

“More like, dead”

This time Seulgi spoke, her eyes were a tad bit puffy showing how tired she was from yesterday. Harvesting took a real toll on her.

“So what makes them think that they were the ones up par for the chicken job?” Joohyun narrowed her eyes

“You know how stupid they are” Seulgi shrugged

Joohyun looked up again, eyeing two dimwits screaming towards the sun that would slowly rise in a matter of time, rising slowly like Joohyun’s temper

“THAT IS NOT HOW A ROOSTER SUPPOSED TO CROW. YOU CANT SAY ” Seungwan complained

“I AM ENTITLED TO SAY WHEN THERE IS NO AROUND”

Sooyoung shoved her slightly making Seungwan grip on the rail right next to her. Wobbling and trying to balance herself on top of the roof

“What do you mean there is no ?! We do have a !”

“I don’t have a ” Sooyoung answered

“I thought you had a ?”

“FOR GOD SAKE PLEASE SAY ROOSTER AND STOP SAYING ”

Seulgi shouted from below, threatening to throw a shoe at the dimwits’ direction. But as usual, they pay no heed

“I’M THE CHICKEN, I SHOULD BE THE ONE A DOODLE DOO” Sooyoung said

“I AM THE HEAD OF THE HOUSE LET ME DO THE ALARMING” Seungwan answered

“JOOHYUN IS THE HEAD OF THE HOUSE, ALL YOU DO IS SING OLD MCDONALDS HAD A FARM”

“OLD MCDONALS DID HAD A FARM BUT HE NOW OWNS A FRANCHISE AND PASSED IT DOWN TO ME SO NOW IT BELONGS TO THE WAN AND ONLY” Seungwan spat back

Sweet lord, the mess

Joohyun who is clearly having none of this crap, decided to but in

“SON SEUNGWAN, PARK SOOYOUNG GET DOWN FROM THERE OR I SWEAR TO I WILL KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP”

Knowing how scary Joohyun can get, both of them immediately got down from the roof without protesting further. Seungwan then ran up to Joohyun side and gave her a peck on the cheek to lessen the rage building inside her girlfriend’s body

“Good morning beautiful” Seungwan grins

Joohyun just decided to flick her girl’s forehead instead.

After making sure the mess is done and assuring that nobody in damn hell is going to be the chicken, they went in and prepared for breakfast instead.  Seungwan and Sooyoung were still on it until Joohyun told them off that she’s going to get a replacement rooster from a fellow farmer, on which Sooyoung swore that the new rooster would be her newest greatest nemesis. Apart from Seungwan

The sun was up and the not-so-peaceful breakfast was done was well. They have decided to continue their everyday farm routine after taking some moment to rest and digest the food they had earlier. Sooyoung and Yerim went off to get a bucket of water and also feed the rabbits on their way back. Seungwan and Joohyun stood side by side while Seulgi went to get the rakes

“Seungwan, go feed the pigs. I have to check on the horses”

“Okie dokie”

Seungwan said, Sooyoung and Yerim was seen to walk towards them with Yerim struggling to carry few bunch of empty buckets due to her petite figure. Seungwan chuckled at the sight, then immediately reach out to the front pocket of her overall jumpsuit and pulled out a corn before handing it to Yerim

“What’s this for?” Yerim asked

“Joohyun asked me to feed you”

And she got a slap at the back of her head

“SEUNGWAN I SAID FEED THE P– you know what, nevermind” Joohyun groaned “Go check on the chicken”

Seungwan turned her head around
