Where Wenrene says FLUFF but some went TRY AGAIN

No One’s POV

It is a good day to just lay around and cuddle while the TV was on. It was their four year anniversary so Wendy and Irene decided to celebrate it in their own simple ways. No grand gestures (well maybe once in a while wouldn’t hurt but not today), no over the top celebrations like releasing balloons in the sky and no expensive dinners at a high end restaurant. Not when they can just do take outs and eat comfortably at home rather than squeezing their purse dry only to be served quarter of a steak and a single piece of vegetable and few drips of ‘special sauce’.

It’s great, just great. Because all Wendy and Irene need is each other, some cuddles, maybe have a make out session, a little groping here and there, and if things get heated they can just drag it to the bedroom. Yes, yes, sounds like a great plan indeed

“Do you think we should invite the rest to spend time with us?”

Irene slightly pulls away from Wendy’s embrace, staring up at her girlfriend whose eyes never left her in the first place. Irene blushed when making a direct eye contact with the hamster. God, even after all these years, those eyes still got it

“What? Ew no” Wendy replied

“You’re right, they’re just going to ruin our day and make a whole lot of mess anyway”

“Mhm. Let’s just have this day to ourselves. No drama, no tears, no silly things whatsoever”

Wendy pulls Irene closer again, kissing the top of her head. Softly brushing through her bunny’s hair with her fingers as she gazed onto the TV

“Should we go out and get something to eat?” Wendy started

“Mmm, I’m lazy”

Irene scooted closer, hugging Wendy’s waist tightly

“Wanna order some pizza?”

“Sure, why not”

Irene smiled. Wendy took her phone that was placed on the coffee table right in front of them, scanning thoroughly to the menus before placing their orders. She also decided to order a couple of bubble teas because why the hell not. She placed her phone back on the table and went back to wrapping her arms around Irene.

Irene looks up at her once again, not saying anything but expressed it with her smile. Wendy thinks that those eyes and smile could kill millions. Oh well, she’s the greatest woman of this generation after all

“What?” Wendy giggled

“…”

“Baby?”

“I love you”

That got a chuckle out of Wendy, not the sarcastic type nor the mocking type. Just the type of chuckle that always caught her off guard. The kind of chuckle that makes the butterflies in her going bonkers. She’s starting to realize that when it comes to Irene, it’s not just butterflies. All sorts of insects and animals are doing crazy things in her whenever she feels. Screw you Bae Joohyun and your freaking perfection

“Why, thank you”

Wendy playfully bows her head, teasing her girlfriend who snickers at her

“Tsk”

“What?” Wendy giggled

“Hmph”

Irene ignored her, pouted and turned her head towards the direction of the TV, but still safely wrapped around Wendy. Wendy felt like punching the wall with how cute Irene is acting

“Hyun”

Irene did not answer and just kept her eyes on the TV

“Baby”

“…”

“Are you sulking?” she giggled again

When Irene did not gave her any response whatsoever, Wendy decided to take matters into her own hands. She slowly moves her hand upwards, as it landed on Irene’s neck. Her hand softly made its way to Irene’s jaw before gently cupping her cheek as she made Irene face her. Irene did not manage to say a word as Wendy dashes immediately towards her girlfriend’s lips.

It was a pure, soft innocent kiss. Irene found herself kissing Wendy back as she pulls Wendy by the waist trying to deepen the kiss. It was slow yet passionate.

It did not took long before Wendy softly pulls away

“I love you too, Joohyun”

Oh, for her to say her birth name, it sounds so, so good when it rolls out from Wendy’s tongue. But Irene smiles anyway

“Took you a while”

“I was just teasing you”

Yes, right now it’s just them. Just sweet moments, just fluff and nothing else. Nothing could ruin their day.

Just then they heard the doorbell rang. Weirded out that she just placed her order and it hasn’t even been 10 minutes, she stared at Irene in confusion

“That was fast?”

“No, that’s not possible. It’s probably someone else. Go check it out”

Wendy obeyed and stood up, heading towards the main door. She
