The Abyss

The Roulette held an emergency meeting upon finding out that they have a new team of police trying to catch them. “Wait, you have to be joking. Why are they continuing to send people when they can’t catch us.” Jungkook complains

Seulgi ruffles his hair. “Chill tiny, they’re probably just as bad the last 9 teams that tried to ‘catch’ us. They need something to do as well.” she says laughing

Seungwan stands in front of the group seriously. “Oh I wish they were bad but we might have a handful this time. These guys have taken down every street smuggler known to man.” she darkly says 

The group sighs. “So what are we going to do about them?” Jennie asks 

Jin pulled up his computer and showed the team 8 profiles with no pictures. “The police have been very clever not to put any pictures with this special team. All we know now is their positions, agent names, and the cases they’re working on. Unfortunate for us not only have they been assigned our case but also the case regarding ‘The Famous 8’” 

The group groaned as they listened to his words. Hanbin then spoke up. “Hey let’s not look at the cons of this situation, but instead let’s look at the pros. They have 8, we have 8. Therefore Wen and I have decided we will work on this individually and as a team.” He said leaving the team confused

Sooyoung raised a brow. “What does that mean? Each of us go after the team alone and together. Speak english please.” She joked

Wendy laughed before lightly hitting her on the shoulder. “Well that’s not what we meant. We meant that each of us will be assigned one person to take down.” She explains

This intrigues the group. “Huh? Interesting, so who are we getting assigned?” Taehyung asked on behalf of the group.

Hanbin pressed the button revealing the first card with the name J-Hope. “Wen, you get the leader of their group. J-Hope. He’s the nice one but if you piss him off, he’ll be the devil himself. Be careful.” Seungwan rolls her eyes

Oh great.

The next slide revealed another name. “Jin you have Jisoo. She’s the brains of the group. You need to work fast and hard in order to beat this chick.”  Jin scoffed and looked at him with an ‘are you kidding look’

Taehyung jumped from his seat with enthusiasm. “Who’s mine? Who’s mine?” He asked

Sooyoung being pissed off smacked him in the head. Groaning he put his hand on his head and sat down. “Chill V. You have Irene . She’s cold and determined so use your charm if you ever meet her.” Hanbin continued.

“Jennie, you’re assigned RM. He acts like he doesn’t care but deep down he wishes to catch us. You have to be careful he's like a chameleon.” Jennie suddenly looked up being intrigued by his description.

Hnabin laughed at the next one. “What's so funny?” the group didn’t understand why he burst out into laughter all of a sudden.

Calming himself down Hanbin blew out air. “I’m sorry but I can't believe we are assigning this type of guy to Sooyoung.” Sooyoung raised both of her brows. 

“ you better have given me a good guy, otherwise i’ll bury you in the background while you’re sleeping.” Sooyoung warned annoyed 

The color drained from his face and continued. “Ok ok chill. You got Jae. Is never serious with life. Makes bad and corny jokes but has a view on life. So to put it simple you got a clown.” he says making the group burst out into laughter.

After everyone calmed down, Hanbin said the last two people’s names. “Jungkook and Seulgi, you guys got Jimin and Katie. These two work in pairs and are the group's hidden weapons. Why are they hidden? No one knows and it’s all up to you two to work it out.” He concludes while the two nod

The group once again looked confused. “Hold up you said they have 8 members. You said 7 people. Who’s your person” Seulgi asked

Hanbin looked up. “LeeHi. She's a short tempered woman who I could care less about right now.” He said shrugging

Right then one of their workers came into the room. “Bosses.” he pants 

Seungwan looks at him seriously. “What is it Hari? Is there any problem?” She asks

He came into the room. “Boss we found that the RR drugs Rituxan and Revlimid drugs have been circulating through Singapore and we got a request for a transaction. When I called on behalf of Ms. Jennie, they had told us that we declined the request via email.” he said

The group looked at each other in confusion. Email? Decline?

“Wait does that mean?” Right then all of them looked to screen with the police badges. 

“No way”

“This can't be true.”

Seungwan looked down, closing her eyes. “We got hacked. We got ing hacked. Jin fix this and Jennie send the sellers a postcard telling them we’ll do the deal. Hari you’re dismissed

Before Jennie left Taehyung suddenly yelled. “Wait!” 

Seungwan looked up in annoyance. “What Tae?” she snaps 

He walks up to the board and takes a closer look. He then Re arranges all their names in order. “Look. All of them have random letters in their names capitalized.” He says

The group takes a closer look at the names. They then look at each other. Finally a tough competition.
